  Bejeningen i resepsjonen snakker rimelig greit engelsk, noe som tydeligvis er sjelden i Moskva. Frokosten holdt god kvalitet, og den øvrige service helt OK. Beliggenheten var litt avsides med en 10 minutters busstur til nærmeste metro med en 15 minutters metro-tur inn til sentrum. Tre netter er ikke mye å skrive anmeldelse for men inntrykket er positivt.

  The hotel standard was all in all great, and even though it was expensive, still the price was not that bad compared to other 5 star hotels in Moscow. So taking into consideration the price level in Moscow it was quite good value for the money. Both the exterior and the interior looked fine. The lobby was quite pretentious in the typical Russian pompous way, the room and the bathroom were spacious and perfectly clean. I could not hear noise from outside despite the busy street with a lot of traffic in the near proximity. The nice things were fresh flowers, a morning gown and slippers, and free coffee / tea / water. However the old bathtub wuth greyish curtains, and the simple shower spoiled the good impression. The steam bath was free only till 4 pm, so that it had no practical value. Too bad for a good hotel to charge its guests for such services. The breakfast was great, with a wide selection of good food. The restaurant itself looked clean and inviting, and a harp player was a nice touch that made mornings more relaxed. However it has to be mentioned that the breakfast price was too high. The receptionists were polite and helpful. When I came up to my room I found out it was a room for smokers. After a call to the reception desk I immediately got a non-smoking room without having to go down to the reception or change the key card. However the waiters at the breakfast were not quite competent. While serving tea they neither asked what sort of tea I wanted, nor offered lemon or milk. So I just got a pot of regular black tea, and it took me some efforts to get some lemon. They were also way too quick to clear the tables. When I came back to my table after having fetched some more food I found both the tea pot and the receit gone. The location was quite good, with a 5 minutes’ walk to two underground stations, which was not bad being in Moscow. The hotel was close to the famous pedestrian street Arbat, and there were shopping centres and restaurants in the surroun

  God kvalitet. God frokost. Godt opphold. Hotellet ligger litt utenfor sentrum, men er bra med transport tilbud, som går ofte.

  For Moscow standards, you get great value for money here. The rooms are nice and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated in a quiet part of town, practically no traffic outside. However, it takes some time to get to the centre. Breakfast is ok for russian standards. I had a great time during a 4-night stay. However, my laundry wasn't returned to me before I checked out, and that question has yet to be resolved.

  Hotellet holder meget god standard. Rent og godt vedlikeholdt, aircondition, minibar/kjøleskap på rommet. God mat. Det lå litt lengre fra sentrum enn vi hadde sett for oss. ca 10 - 15 minutters spasertur til metroen, og så ca 15 minutter med metroen til den røde plass/ Kreml.

  Hotelets beliggenhet er god i forhold til det du vil se. Felles arealene er pene og gode. Rommet er i trangeste laget. For 2 personer ville dette være for trangt. Badet meget trangt. Hyggelig betjening og godt frokost tilbud. Bor ofte på radisson hoteller og har godt sammenlignings grunnlag. Oppsumert kan jeg anbefale hotellet til andre.

  Bega hotel is a good hotel for business or leisure. The price is good compared to other hotels in Moscow. Breakfast was fine and location is not bad. It is 10 mins walk for metro and not far by taxi to city centre, Tverskaya and Kreml. You should pay around 3-400 rubles for taxi from this area to hotel at night. Hotel is safe and staff is pleasant in reception. Rooms not so big but compared to Moscow prices it is a good choice to stay there as long as you find it comfortable to go by metro or taxi.
