  Altstadt hotell i Heidelberg ligger rolig til i en liten tverrgate til handlegaten Hauptstrasse. Kort vei til gamlebyen og alle dens severdigheter. Hotellet er lite og hyggelig, betjeningen imøtekommende og hjelpsomme. Resepsjonen er kun bemannet fra 7 am til 8 pm. Rommet (dobbeltrom) var romslig og bra innredet, men badet lite og baderomsviften svært høylydt. Billig og bra hotell med god frokost!

  We had a late arrival at midnight, no problem, just call in advance in case late arrival. Very good service, polite, hotel-bar was open until one o´clock after midnight. Easy to park in the basement with easy access to the lift (i think it cost around 12 euro +/-. Very nice room, good beds, slept like a baby. Short distance of walk to the city central where all the shops are, aproximently 5-10 minutes of walk. Can rent a bike at the hotel(loads of them). Free wi-fi in the super-big-lobby; if you have your own laptop or wireless phone though. They charge you a fee if you need it in your room. The only minus was you need to pay extra for breakfast, but still for the price you pay for breakfast i rather walk to the central walk-street and eat on a cozy restaurant/café or Subway for that mather. I recommend to sleep over 2 nights in Heidelberg to see all the historical stuff (if youre not turbo-seightseeing then) :-P Enjoy your stay! This was a spelnded hotell with very good service and comfort.

  Dette var en positiv overraskelse! Det billigste hotellet vi fant på nett, og det må jo være et av de fineste i Heidelberg! Stort fint rom og med badekar på badet. Hyggelig betjening.

  Polite and 100 % customer sattisfaction. Second time i use this hotel. Free Wif-fi in the entire hotel and free parking outside in the backyard (can pay extra for garage). Breakfast is not included so thats the only minus. We have a 2 year old boy and for us its important to have a close location to a playground. It was under 5 minutes of walk to a nice and big park with a big playground for kids in all ages. City train/Tram stops 100 meters from the hotel, cheap and easy to use, about 12 minutes to centrum and all the sites.
