Hoteller nær St. Olav's Church

Hyggelig, ganske nytt hotell i veldig gammel bygning. Høyere standard enn det vi forventet i forhold til prisen. Bra beliggenhet, stille og rolig, men likevel sentralt i gamlebyen. Knøttlite rom, men veldig imøtekommende og hjelpsom betjening. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Nice, clean hotel, great location. Big room, and big bathroom with bathtub. OK breakfast. A bit of a struggle to haul the luggage up and down stairs on the way to the room, especially the narrow spiral stairs near the resception! We got some help from the portier on our way down, though!

Hotell Braavo er et trivlig hotell med god beliggehet til gamlebyen og byen forøvrig.

This beautiful hotel is very centrally located in the heart of the Old Town. The building is quite the labyrinth and not recommendable for people who cannot use stairs. The staff was very friendly and very helpful, and spoke excellent English. The breakfast buffet was varied, very tasty and filling. A great meal to start the day. Both warm and cold dishes, eggs, bacon, sausage, (there were chicken nuggets one morning, which seemed slightly odd), pancakes, cereals, fruit, youghurt, juices, pastries, etc. The hotel's own café has really great coffee and pastries. The only problem I had was I arrived in the middle of July to an Estonian heatwave. There was no air-conditioning, my room faced Pikk Street and was in the sun all morning, which made the room very warm. Had to have the windows open all day, no problem though, since no rooms are ground level. But due to all the noisy drunken tourists on Pikk Street, I had to keep the windows closed at night, the windows are quite sound-proof. Guests can use the swimming pools and gym at the Meriton Grand Hotel for free, which was great considering the heatwave. It's only a 15 min walk away.

If you are looking for a hotel with personality and charm, St Olavs should be your choice! The only disadvantage was the lack of AC on a hot summernight. The hotel and its surroundings were an adventure!

Et trivelig og rent hotell med veldig bra service. Veldig trivelige og imøtekommende ansatte. Hotellet har en veldig bra beliggenehet i gamlebyen, et steinkast fra hovedgata i gamlebyen, og det samme fra nye bydelen. Anbefaler dette gjerne til andre.

Rommene var moderne og luftige(to etager) og komfortable, med utmerket frokostbuffe. Vi spiste ikke middag der og kan ikke uttale oss om den. Vi opplevde også god service, hvor bl.a min mor som fyllte rundt tall fikk en flaske shampagne med gratulasjonskort på rommet. Det eneste å påpeke var at vi opplevde å få feil innformasjon en dag det var en resepsjonist på vakt som ikke kunne engelsk nevneverdig. Men det skapte ikke noe stort problem for oss.
