This hotel is located inside the Galleria mall. So for me that travels alone on business, it is perfect. I dont need to drive anywhere after work, I have everything I need in and around the mall. The hotel itself meets my standard requirements. Except no wi-fi in the room that I could see. So bring along a long cable if you want to use the computer […] in bed. The hotel has an outdoor pool if you have time to enjoy nice weather. For those of you that has been here before: The charming pub and breakfast restaurant that used to be located on the mall corners leading in to the hotel has unfortunately been replaced lately. I would have given this place a 5, but we had to wait almost two hours to get our room. We were told that we would be called once our room was ready, but no contacted us. They did let us leave our bags with the concierge, so that was helpful. An hour and forty-five minutes later, we returned to the front desk and the front desk staff said that our room […] was ready...fifteen minute ago. Aside from that, the room was great and the location was perfect for us. I would have preferred a room that was facing Westheimer Road, but the rear view was ok too. The air conditioner in the room was loud and combined with the street noise it was almost impossible to sleep. The view from the 20th floor was fabulous but overshadowed by the noise. The railing on the balcony was very loose and made being on the balcony a bit scary. The bed very comfortable and overall the hotel itself was nice. The only thing with this trip that was disappointing was that the A/C was not cooling properly, the floors in the room may not have been throughly cleaned and the […] bathroom doorknob came off in my daughter's hand. "Great for shopping"
