Hotel is in great location near just about everything. Rooms are well appointed. Not as big as advertised but spacious enough. Hotel kept very clean, but showing alittle sign of age. Still a great property.

Hotel very well located, as it is above the Raffles shopping centre, where there are good food courts, and it is right by the City Hall MRT.

New, big and comfortable room. Much better room compared to other hotels in Singapore. Great location, good price. The internet is not so fast and the restaurant inside the hotel is good for breakfast, but not so intimate for lunch or dinner. The breakfast is one of the best I ever seen. Fairmont Hotel really has a super great location, just on the train station and in the colony area. The general environment is nice, with lots of trees and European style buildings. The beds and pillow are soft that I really enjoy sleeping in hotel. With a private balcony, I can enjoy the beautiful skyline of Singapore and the Marina Bay.. I liked the comfort provided by the bed and pillows

Booked this hotel for my sister's bridal shower. we intentionally got the bigger room so that some friends could come by for dinner. Situated directly above Raffles City makes it incredibly convenient for any errand of any nature. I have stayed at the Fairmont many times and I can't fault it. The staff are amazing as is the location. The breakfast buffet is great value. Highly recommended!

Great hotel, great staff, great restaurants.. They share the pool with the Swiss hotel so in the week end is very very crowed.. Excellent the dim sum brunch on Sunday

This hotel is really nice. We booked 3 rooms. The rooms are the biggest in most of Asia that I've seen, which is great. The hotel is connected to a great underground mall/food court (with a Gong Cha) and across from Raffles. The MRT is also connected, so it makes things really convenient. All the employees were very nice and the hotel was very clean. My […] only 3 issues is that service is extremely slow. You order a towel, it won't come. I also didn't have a privacy hang tag in my room, so I called in my request that no one come in and clean the room. The lady confirmed and still someone came in. Luckily nothing was stolen. My last issue is that one of our rooms was in Tower 2 and 2 were in Tower 1. Tower 2 is SIGNIFICANTLY nicer and newer. Better views and much more comfortable. For anyone that stays here, request Tower 2. Anyway yes I would stay here again! Les mer

made some requests on the booking, but they gave a room with 2 doubles (for 2 adults/1 child). Room also a bit musty. 2 nd room ok - a bit dated other than the bathroom. Bed comfortable. Good location. Pool ok. Problem with internet connection. Overall average and will book elsewhere next time.

This is the second time we have stayed here and will definitely be coming back for a third visit. Everything about this hotel gives a great feeling. From the little old man dressed up who opens the door for you in the foyer with a big toothless grin to the ever helpful staff. The location of the hotel which is a few metres from the extremely efficient […] MRT line of City Hall is great for getting around in air conditioned comfort. The cost of travel is less than $2.00 around the CBD. The room was great and the bed more comfortable than the one I have at home. There is even a Nespresso Capsule Coffee Machine in the room which was fantastic and now I have gone out and bought one so good thinking from Nespresso. The hotel is connected to an enormous shopping complex and a huge variety of restaurants and even a supermarket if you want to eat in. Would highly recommend this hotel. Les mer

We arrived at the hotel to find that our room wasn't available and would taken at least an hour or more...so we just walked around the mall; we were pretty tired and given that this was a Fairmont brand; we were expecting a much easier check in process. The lines were pretty long at the counters, I guess they were busy that week... We upgraded to the […] Marina view rooms, which were amazing...the room was very spacious and clean with great views. The location is not so bad either, although its not on Orchard road...there is a bus stop right across the hotel. I would only stay here again if I was getting a really good rate otherwise I would just stay at a different hotel (there are many to choose from). Les mer

We booked a room at the Fairmont to celebrate a birthday and would like to commend the hotel staff for their superb service offered to guests. Rooms were turned down more than once a day and we were surprised with a delivery of cake, chocolates and a bowl of fruit for our birthday celebration! totally it was good but the swimming pool was not as well as shown in website

It's my second time to stay in Fairmont and I still think it's a nice hotel with good value, very clean and well maintained. Excellent breakfast and services, the main issue is the feather pillows which is too soft for me.

Hotel is next to a major shopping mall and many coffee shops and food court. It is next to the Esplanade MRT station. The Raffles is across the street of the Raffles, where one can stop by the Long Bar to enjoy the original Singapore Sling. The Fairmont upgraded our room to the South Tower that is newly renovated. Our room has an excellent view of the […] Marina Bay Sands and the skyline of the financial district. Take a walk in the evening from the hotel to the Quay and you will a wonderful night view of the city. The hotel staff have been very friendly. And helpful. Nothing to complain about.. Les mer

We were not disappointed when we revisited the Fairmont in July. Room was very spacious , and whilst our room was near the lifts - noise was never an issue. It had a King size bed with controls for lights and curtains from the bed. Whilst our bathroom was very clean and in good condition, my only criticism would be some of the fittings were starting […] to show signs of wear, (though shower curtain was new.) The buffet organisation and breakfast service in the main restaurant had improved 100% since a stay in January - couldn't have had better service .The concierge was helpful as ever, including providing log in to free internet in lobby and booking our maxi cab for our transfer that arrived spot on time. Top location next door to Raffles City shopping(with great eating options below)and access to train underground to other key destinations, across the road to Raffles Hotel, and a short walk(can go underground) to Suntec City or Marina Bay shops . I would highly recommend this hotel, its staff and great location. Les mer

Just returned from four nights at the Fairmont Singapore. The location of this hotel is great, right on top of an MRT station and walkable (even in SIN heat and humidity) to many attractions. My limited interaction with staff were quite pleasant. The positives end there however. The room was dirty at check-in. It had clearly been serviced, but there […] were hairs on the bathroom floor and counter, and walking on the carpet I felt little crumbs or whatever on my bare feet, indicating that it had not been vacuumed. Around the back side of the bed (about a two foot gap from wall to bed) there was a receipt from a London fast food restaurant lying crumpled up on the floor in plain sight. My third day there, I left my room for the day at 8:00 am, and returned at 4:30 pm to find my room not made up. It seems they are really short staffed in the housekeeping department! The room itself was acceptable, if a bit small for the price (expensive town). There were a few nicks and dings on furniture corners indicating that the time for a decor refresh should be approaching. The lack of a full length mirror in my "upgraded" room was a minor annoyance. The presence of a small balcony was a plus. I did not try any of the hotel dining options. Some random other things: When asked, I said I would like the Straits Times on the door in the morning. That happened once, the first morning I got a Chinese newspaper, two of the other three they gave me the IHT. Paying S$30 for in room internet at a "five star"hotel is ridiculous. That's about it. Will not stay here again, would not recommend. Les mer

Everything was perfect about this hotel, including the staff and the location - next door to Raffles, with easy access to all of Singapore!

We very much enjoyed our stay, indeed:) Thanks to your professional guy at the desk who upgraded us after a slight mishap with our booking. The restaurant is realy good too! Love the view and swimmingpool. Good service too.

The best thing about this hotel is its location right next to the subway stop. Otherwise, the room is relatively ok but the shower doesn't work properly. They need to do some upgrades in the room or else it will just keep gong downhill. To be fair, it is still a good hotel to stay in.

I recently stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and was very impressed with every department. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they went out of their way to look after me. I would not hesitate to recomment the Fairmont Singapore to anyone. Any time I visit Singapore I would be definately staying at this hotel.

I stayed at the Fairmont for a business trip for 4 nights. They did a really great job with everything from the service, to the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The one thing they could improve is the service at Prego - thought it was a bit lacking for the quality of the hotel. This hotel is right across from the iconic Raffles hotel and is connected to the Raffles city mall. It was walking distance from the Marina and other malls and also the MRT stations. and very short cab rides to Orchard Rd, Clarke Quay etc. The room was very nice and comfortable and it was always nice walking into the room after the turn-down service! […] Free wi-fi in the lobby. Excellent swimming pool.. the bed was extremely comfy and the hotel offered 9 different pillow choices ! The conceirge was not as friendly and helpful as I would've expected for a hotel of this calibre - I needed access to a computer briefly to send a quick e-mail. When I enquired with the conceirge (Brian) he kept on telling me that the business centre was closed... only to discover a hotel ipad that a lady was using to browse through right in the lobby... but aside from this minor incident, really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would recommend it ! The Fairmont was a wonderful place to stay and recoup after a long flight from India. Our room was ready for an early check in, and the staff was extremely helpful. The rooms are large and well appointed. We had a great selection of television stations. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were an excellent quality. The hotel is nicely located […] across from the Raffles Hotel for Singapore Slings, and there is a nice mall attached to the hotel with a super food court and market. We had a late flight and the hotel accommodated us with a late check out and let us use the excellent spa to shower before leaving for the airport. Les mer

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, Robert the doorman and the check in staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable, the rain shower was amazing and the location of the hotel was perfect for us as we were able to walk easily everywhere. Raffles shopping center and the MRT was right next door, Chijmes was a short stroll away that […] is home to many restaurants and the Raffles hotel is across the street which is a must see. The poolside breakfast buffet is good but a little on the expensive side. We only gave the hotel a low mark on the condition of the hotel because they were doing repair work right outside our room and were using an ozone generator and the smell was very strong when we opened our door. The hotel and service were outstanding. Definitely will go to the same hotel when in Singapore. People were very kind and pleasant. The rooms were great and the location superb. A1 hotel.

The Best Hotel I have stayed!

Enjoy very much with the room given and the facilities is super!! Only this there is no parking complementary given which usually this rated hotel will give. We would like to stay with this hotel again.

This Hotel...was THE BEST hotel I have EVER stayed at. Being in the American Military I do a lot of traveling, so I have stayed at A LOT of hotels all over the world. But this hotel, out did everything I thought it would be. Where to start...when we told the cab driver where we were staying he was like "OH! Your staying there...very nice hotel. 5 STAR!" […] So I was like ok I picked a good hotel. The loby was very wonderful and the people actually greeted me with a smile and offered us wet cloths and a fruit drink as we checked in. Very quick and easy, and we were off to our room. 18th floor. The first thing that we noticed was the room did not smell like your average hotel. It smelled wonderful. There was a great view of the pool, which I was glad we got, because the last thing I wanted to see was the city. It was quiet and peaceful. We were in such shock of the room and the beds, and the view, that we had overlooked the bathroom. The rain drop shower and the oversized tub was perfect, and the bathroom was huge. There was nothing wrong with the room. I spent like 5 hours in the Spa, also one of the best I have EVER been to. Spent a little chunk of change there, but well worth it. The hotel sits ontop of a mall and a subway station. So we really didn't need to leave the hotel. 16 restaurants in the hotel itself also. One other thing they cleaned my room twice a day...I loved this becasue after a day out shopping I wanted to come back and shower to do a night on the town, after we had come back after the night, new towels to shower with and our beds were turned down, water on the side table, a flower on the pillow, and soft music playing from the radio that they had turned on for us. Once we took it all in I really knew I had picked the right hotel. I like to party and ANY hotel that realizes that before I do is good in my book, and I will be staying at this hotel EVERY time I go to Singapore. Les mer

A little non-descript, as most 'business' hotels are, but the room was big, modern and technologically up to date. The bathroom was a decent size, clean and well equipped, and the service friendly and efficient. Location wise, it was perfect for the train from the airport as well as being central to many of the attractions of Singapore. All in all we […] were very happy with the hotel and certainly preferred it to the Marina Mandarin, where we stayed later in our trip. Breakfast was not included, so no comments to make there as we ate elsewhere - I have to say I would have expected breakfast to be included by default. Great hotel. Fantastic service, friendly and helpful staff who go out of their way to help. The only fault with the food was it was too good. Will definitely return.

This is a superb hotel, well present with curtious staff that attend to your every need. Regarding the rooms I believe that they are well appointed at the higher level. Sadly on my arrival a room at a higher level was not available and I was offered a room on level six and while the room itself was fine noise from road traffic did disrupt an otherwise […] superb stay. I would hope on future stopovers to get a room on a higher level. The hotel has a wonderful pool, gym facility and spa if needed after a day in the Singapore heat Les mer

good.... the rain forest shower was amazing, the staff was very helpful and the room was spotless and very updated.loved the pool and spa, morning breakfast was Organic and very well stocked. bad.... the veiws were not wonderful, city life. the bed and sheets could have been a bit softer, but not a big deal. The hotel is shared with another the swiss […] hotel.. a bit strange but whatever. we had some issues with construction noise, but only for a mid-day nap was it an issue. Les mer
