Helt ok hotell, men området i seg selv er kjedelig og det er et stykke til der det skjer noe. Positivt at det går trikker mot sentrum hele tiden. Dårlig med parkering.

Når jeg skal på tur uten barn er det viktig å få meget god kvalitet på hotellet. Derfor oppdaterte vi til delux rom. i hotellbeskrivelsen sto det da at vi skulle få sofa på rommet og badekar. Dette fikk vi ikke! En stol var alt vi fikk å sitte i og dusj... Ikke bruk penger på delux. Rommet var ellers i god stand, god seng. Frokosten var deilig. Hotellet […] lå litt i utkanten av sentrum. God sevice, rent og pent rom, god madrass. Hotellet ligger noe utenfor Prenzlauer Berg "sentrum", men det tar kun ti minutter å gå til de fine områdene i PB. Både trikk og bane ligger rett ved hotellet, og kollektivtilbudet er fanastisk. Kjøp ABC-billett ved flyplassen, denne dekker alt av kollektivtrafikk og gir også rabatt på stort sett alle severdigheter. […] Frokosten er god og variert. Be om rom inn mot bakgård, så slipper du å høre noe trafikk. Anbefaler absolutt hotellet om du skal være et par dager i Berlin. Les mer

Veldig fint hotell. Kjempe fornøyd med hotellet, eneste jeg kan sette fingeren på er at når vi dusjet ble hele gulvet vått. Men dette vasket renngjøringsdamen opp i. Ligger et stykke utenfor sentrum, men med et transportkort for ca 150 NOK kan du kjøre all offentlig transport så mye du vil i tre døgn. Både s-bahn, u-bahn, buss og trikk stopper rett […] utenfor hotellet. Veldig lett å komme seg til og fra byen/flyplass osv. Det går transport hele tiden, max tiden vi ventet på transport var 5 min. The bathroom looked lovly, but the water pressure in the shower was very low and the termostate did not function, changing from very cold to hot and back again. The room was very dusty due to the carpeted floor. You have to keep everything in your suitcase as there are no easy available shelves or drawers for storage. Sentralt hotell i Prenzlauer Berg, riktignok ikke midt i den koseligste og mest sjarmerende delen, men kort avstand til gatene rundt Kollwitzplatz. Sentralt i forhold til transport, trikk til Alexsanderplatz. Fint hotell.

Hotellet er flott.Betjeningen hyggelig og hjelpsom. 15 min med trikk til Aleksanderplass, Trikken stanser rett utenfor hotellet. Og da kommer du deg akkurat dit du vil.

Vennlig mottakelse i resepsjonen. Vi fikk rommet til vår disposisjon allerede ved ankomst kl. 10.00. Det var positivt. Hjelpsomme resepsjonister hver dag. I det hele tatt et greit hotell. Lett adkomst til sentrum med trikk hvert femte minutt

Hjelpsom og hyggelig betjening. Trivelig rom. Suveren beliggenhet med kort vei til trikk og bane. Billetter for salg i resepsjonen er helt topp. Kort trikketur til Mitte og Prenz'berg.

Really good value for money. Nice and modern, friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet! Easy to get to Alexanderplatz by the M2 tram -- runs very frequently. Missed free wireless internet.

We had a fantastic experience in the Holiday Inn Hotel, the stuff was friendly and very helpful, the room service & food was very good, the king size bed was very comfortable and the room was very spacious. The price was reasonably low for the quality & service provided.

My husband and I were only staying in Berlin for one night so we didn't get the full experience of the hotel. We only slept there for about 5 hours then left (It was just a quick stop over) but the hotel was very clean and the staff were nice. I would definitely stay again or recommend it to someone.

Very nice hotel, just had to pay for wifi after an hour and the time lapsed after midnight. But the hotel itself was excellent. Located in a central spot next to a tram and train station.

It was a reasonably inexpensive place to stay. Unfortunately I got placed in a smoking room and with no alternatives available I stuck it out. The room aired out okay after the first night with the windows open. The hotel isn't really close to much in terms of popular attractions but it is near the S bahn and a 15 minute tram ride to Alexanderplatz. […] Plenty of late night falafel places open though. bakeries near by in the morning. The people at the front desk were extremely helpful, efficient, and professional. The breakfast buffet included a plentiful spread. From fruit to yogurt, to vegetables, to meats, cheeses, juices, coffee, and tea. The waiter remembered my name. Extra points for that. Very clean hotel, friendly staff, I enjoyed the location tram out side hotel underground 500m away. Close enough to every thing but quite enough to enjoy a bit peace aswell. Great hotel.

Good standard for the area. They need to upgrade the air-con as it's a bit noisy and opening the windows is noisier. Disappointed they had no soya milk in stock to use at breakfast two consecutive days, so enquire in advance. We were a bit leary about being a short distance from the city center. But, it ended up a good choice. The room rate was more than fair. The room was just fine and service was good. We purchased the multi-day transportation card from the hotel, so it was easy to jump the tram right in front of the hotel and take it to Alexanderplatz where we could transfer […] free to UBahn or SBahn to get us quickly to all the Berlin sites. We recently visited Berlin for the first time and needed to stay in the Prenzlaur Berg area and booked the Holiday Inn as it was nearest to where we needed to be and also a very good price. Firstly the hotel was excellent and deserves its 4 stars. We had a large excellent room and bathroom (which was listed as a standard queen room) at the front of […] the hotel, with large windows and a balcony. It was above the main Prenzlaur Alle but the windows were so soundproofed there was absolutely no problem with any noise, the room was very quiet. In the morning glorious sunshine shone through and we could stand on the balcony and watch Berlin below us. The buffet breakfast was excellent, lots of choice (more than enough) and very good service and was available from 7.30am - 11am so no rush. When we returned to our room of an evening after a day out it was always spotless. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly and desk staff spoke embarrassingly (for us) but helpfully excellent English. Berlin is an amazing city and we would recommend it to everyone. The Prenzlaur Berg area is wonderful - wander into Prenzlaur Berg along Danziger or any of the other streets and explore the wonderful individual shops, cafes, resturants, bars and markets. The city centre, Mitte, is just a 10min simple tram ride and the tram leaves from directly outside the hotel. Les mer

We found the situation of the hotel very good with regard to transport, as trams and trains were only a few minutes walk away. Our room was very comfortable. I booked this hotel for my boyfriends birthday and it was fantastic! We went the first weekend in February and whilst the temperature outside was -15C, our hotel room was warm, cosy and very clean. Staff at the hotel were excellent, with the reception always manned and happy to help with any queries. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the […] tube station, and is one stop away from the main line from where you can reach all the top sights. The area around the hotel itself is quiet but also near loads of fabulous restaurants and bars. As the hotel is in the east of the city, the area isn't commercialised, instead cafes have a fabulous shabby chic air about them. Highly recommended is Pastanak russian restaurant, Gagarins vodka bar, fondue restaurant "Ars Vini" and for a fabulous brunch/breakfast there is Anna Blume, which is a florist and cafe in one. We shared the breakfast platter between 4 and it was amazing!! Overall, I would definately recommend this hotel, not only for the hotel itself but also for its brilliant location in this amazing city. Les mer

Clean hotel, helpful English speaking desk staff. Conveniently located by a stop on the U-bahn but overall located a bit out of the way and we had to take multiple trains to get to the heart of the city. Bathrooms were small but clean, beds were comfortable and rooms were well maintained

I have just come back from a long weekend with my partner in Berlin and we were extremely happy with our stay at the Holiday Inn Prenzlauer Allee. The hotel is very easy to get to (we took the underground direct from the airport to the nearest tube station, a five minute walk away. Central Berlin is accessible by tram or foot, if you fancy a walk. The […] staff at the hotel were very friendly and obliging, and our room was perfect. Lovely big bed, spotless bathroom and very quiet for an excellent night's sleep. Breakfast was also very nice, good selection. The area around the hotel is also great to explore Prenzlauer Berg has some great cafes, restaurants, markets and shops, and is great if you want a day or two away from the tourists in the city centre. We will be going back to Berlin, and would definitely recommend the hotel to friends. Les mer

The neighborhood lists that there are a lot of cute places nearby, but we really didn't see that. howver, there was a nice coffee shop and a general store next door, so that was helpful. The hotel rooms are surprisingly large and comfortable. I had an internal courtyard room which was really quiet at night with no street noise. Room was a good price and near public transport, but there was no room safe.

My wife and myself stayed at this Holiday Inn for 2 nights. All in all the hotel met our expectations, the room was clean and quiet, breakfast was excellent. People at the reception desk were extreamly friendly. You have a "tram" just crossing the street. The only thing that should be improved is the free wireless internet speed and time.

Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly at all times. Hotel was very clean and comfortable rooms. Handy to tram system, just outside the door. Easy to walk around the neighbourhood, with plenty of shops and restaurants along the Allee.

I would overall recommend the hotel. Well located on a quiet area but not far from good restaurants and well communicated via S-Bahn and Tram. If I have to say anything negative at all of the hotel is that after a long day I wanted to relax watching tele but they don't have any English channels other the BBC Wold News.

I've stayed at this hotel 7 nights and I'm happy to recommend it. The service was very good and the staff very helpful and polite. Furthermore I liked the location with supermarkets, convenient stores and restaurants very close by. The tram that'll take you to the city centre stops just opposite the hotel entrance and there is also a direct S-Bahn […] line that'll take you from Prenzlauer Allee to the airport. friendly staff and informative but the room we had was not suitable to sleep in after 5am, 1 of the side window curtain was missing when the sun rise every morning was extremely bright, so as the bathroom window curtain must be expensive or not heard of in Berlin. This hotel offer free room internet the catch is 60 mins free per day not 24-7.
