Greit hotell hvis ditt eneste formål med det er å sove. Ville kanskje ikke ha reist hit på familieferie, men for en guttetur til statene er dette helt greit. Trivelig betjening og TV med uttallige amerikanske kanaler, samt noen meksikanske. I tillegg var det bussavganger rett utenfor døren og et boblebad som virkelig kommer til sin rett etter lange, solfylte dager i vestkystens kosligte by. Frokosten var ikke all verden, men man finner blant annet frokostrestauranten Denny's 100 meter unna. Alt i alt fornøyd!

Dette hotellet er på alle måter fantastisk, rommet vårt var gigantisk og servicen upåklagelig, men det koster å bo her. For eksempel legges det automatisk til 22 prosent tips til alle room service-ordre, dette i tillegg til det de tar ekstra for å levere maten. Det andre som gjør det dyrt å bo her, er at hotellet ligger så avsides til at du må belage deg på å kjøpe og spise alt du trenger, på hotellet. Et tips er derfor å ta med seg snacks og drikke fra nærmeste kolonial for å slippe å bli ruinert i minibaren.

Supert hotell med flotte rom. Vi kunne ønsket oss at det lå litt nærmere selve Santa Barbara, men vi fikk utrolig mye for pengene, så alt i alt er vi veldig fornøyd!

Vi var fornøyd. Koselig hotell og koselig uteområde å spise frokost i. Merket ikke at hotellet lå nær stor vei, og det var kort vei med bil til Santa Barbara for middag, strendene og ridetur i fjellene. For oss var det greit å kjøre bil til det vi ville, og greit alternativ siden vi ikke ville betale mye for å ligge like ved strand/storby.

This hotel is very clean, older but maintained well. The rooms are small, bathroom has a walk in shower. The bed is comfortable and location great. If you're looking for a clean room at a good price, this is a place to consider.

Beautiful, comfortable room great breakfast. Not too happy that we had to pay for parking! and the view from the rolm was lousy.

My boyfriend and I loved this hotel. We wanted to just getaway for a couple days and this hotel made it a great trip. It is in a great location we walked every where we went, cause it was just so close. The front desk staff was very helpful and nice. And the maid service was always cleaning. One night we went out to dinner and when we came back the […] room was clean, and they have already come by that day. That is the first time I have had that happen to me. My only complaint and its not a big one is the walls are a little thin, as long as the people next to you aren't fighting you should be fine. It is close to sate street as well. "Great Location!"
However, the bed was uncomfortable and there was no coffee maker or refrigerator in the room. But the restaurant next door is awesome and you are within walking distance to most everything.

This is a vintage ranch style motel in the heart of toney Montecito. It's clean, well maintained and well priced for the location. That said, expect smaller rooms, closets and bathrooms, traditional 50s ranch decor and servicable furniture. My queen bed room was fine for one small person, no luggage, and a quick overnight stay, but those requiring more […] space or staying longer should book a larger room for maximum comfort. There is no check in service but a lot of stairs and other obstacles on this upslope lot that can make maneuvering luggage, strollers or wheelchairs a challenge. An inexplicable nightly parking fee as an added "guest amenity" in the surface parking lot. The lot has been in existence since the hotel was built sometime in the late 40s or early 50s, and is required for a local business license. There was no "service". Am I missing something here?? Use the street to avoid charges. Breakfast is at a convenient next door restaurant where a hotel credit helps to defray the price. Restaurant service was slow, food Ok, outdoor terrace lovely in nice weather, interiors cozy in the fog. Overall, the hotel and restaurant are a good choice for the budget traveler. It's conveniently located off the freeway, in an upscale, safe and walkable commercial area and not too far from the beach. The upslope site includes a small swimming pool wrapped by the terraced parking lot. Both parking and room spaces are tight. Santa Barbara and Montecito can be very expensive but you get what you pay for. Les mer

The front office staff was superb- very friendly, accommodating,helpful and genuinely kind. Our biggest complaint was difficulty in parking. The hotel was a little tired- but clean and sufficient for our needs. The housekeeping staff also went above and beyond in big things and little to make us comfortable.

"Don't stay here"
Walls are thin, no microwaves or mini-fridges. It's old and feels like it. They charge for parking. Nice staff but disappointing lodging. Couldn't sleep well due to traffic noise and upstairs neighbors.

The Coast Village is charming, quaint, affordable, and located in a beautiful setting with lots of trees and walking distance to lots of restaurants and shops. Actually our daughter recommended the place to us, as she had stayed there a time or two. While our room was clean, it was a little tight, and my only other complaint (s) would be that the toliet […] ran and two of the lights on the overhead fan fixture were not working. "A very pleasant surprise!"
My boyfriend look forward to trying something new, which included hotels. Drove to Montecito and was taken aback by the cuteness of the little town. I was unimpressed by the sign and the frontal exterior but was pleasantly surprised at how cute and clean our hotel room was. The bathrooms were big enough and the decor was relaxing and quaint. The staff […] really paid attention to the details from the toilet paper and towel sculptures to the fresh Peets coffee that greeted us at the front desk. I took a great swim in the morning in 65 degree weather and the pool felt fabulous at 80 degrees. The reception staff was really friendly and helpful. I was impressed to see that they called housekeeping to help two elderly guests to pump their bicycle tires, so they can go on their bike tour. The hotel was only 5 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara, and was equidistant to Los Olivos and Solvang for wine tasting and farmer's markets. I would definitely come back here again. "Montecito affordable"
This hotel is comparable to affordable hotels in Santa Barbara. Little cafe next door for breakfast and Starbuck's down the street. A little celebrity sighting with our bran muffins. We enjoyed a little farmer's market on Friday across the street. The hotel had a recomendation to hike up at San Ysidro trail head. A rigorous hike/climb, but a beautiful […] waterfall at the end. "Stormy"
I was there during a windy storm and things like doors rattled and I thought people were slamming them. The floors were a little weak as I could hear every step outside. I liked the cozy feel and the cleanliness. I slept like a baby.

Not a good place to stay. Room extremely small. Toilet bowl so close to wall it was very difficult to sit down. Shower extremely small. Mattress was lumpy. And last but not least --they charged me $3 for parking.

LOVED THE COUNTRY FEEL OF THE AREA AND THE FANTASTIC CAVA RESTAURANT LOCATED ACROSS THE STREET. ACCOMMODATIONS WERE COMFORTABLE BUT DEFINITELY NOT ELEGANT. A GOOD VALUE FOR THE PRICE. THE BATHROOM COMMODE WAS POORLY LOCATED AND SHOULD BE CHANGED. OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS QUITE SATISFACTORY.

This is a charming and nice little inn. We had been on 15 other hotels and inns on our trip before staying here, and some where considerably more expensive. We liked this the most. Neat room, not huge, but everything you need, and very cosy settings. However dont take this deal due to the breakfast. Its is at a bar/grill next door and only incl. a choice […] of crossaint/bagel or similar and coffee and a slice of fruit. Will not satisfy anyone, so expect (as they are) to buy some more. Les mer
"Friendly and welcoming hotel - go there!"
My boyfriend and I booked 2 nights at the Coast Village Inn, and did not regret it! The hotel was really nice, and the room cozy. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Although it was outside Santa Barbara the location was good, very close to Butterfly Beach (walking distance) and by car it did not take long to go into town. We needed some extra help one […] evening, and the woman at t the front desk did everything to help us, including recommending restaurants, activities etc. All in all, a wonderful stay - highly recommended! "Good deal for the area"
A really good deal for a posh neighborhood. My room smelled very strongly of soap, which isn't the worst thing in the world. The rooms are pretty small, but perfectly functional. The parking lot is tiny and steep - not a good idea for big trucks or SUVs.

You can tell that the hotel has been there for many years, but they've done a good job of modernizing the room. There are still wall heaters, which allow noise to travel between rooms. Bring earplugs. All empoyees we encountered (front desk, maid service) were pleasant and helpful.

The coast Village in is on the main street but far enough a way to not hear the traffic. The room was simple but had everything you needed for a stay. Staff were very friendly and helped booking activities and taxis which was a great help. All in all I would reccomend this place to others, espcially when you compare it to other hotels close by.

Housekeeping needs to provide some sort of air freshners, due to the age of rooms, a bit musty smell in room which lingered during the whole night. Housekeeping needs to vacuum better, found several bugs on the carpet.

Loved the Coast Village Inn, clean and neat, close to beach and nice shops as well as restaurants. Easy on and off the Freeway. Office staff where helpful and friendly. Nice walks thru neighborhood. Wonderful treat for the price.

Very nice. European standard, very small room and bathroom but great look. breakfast is more than light. You have choice between hot beverage or juice. If you want both you have to pay.

Room a bit small for 2. Queen bed not good for us but that is what was available. Excellent and accommodating service from staff. Difficult rear parking if the front is filled.
