The hotel was decorated nicely and had all the amenities: resturant, bar, pools, etc. Our room was nice and clean. the bed was comfortable. Room service was great. We were there on a Saturday and couldn't get a wait person to talk to us in the resturant at lunch, although there were several empty tables. We left and went somewhere else. The walls of […] our room were very thin. From about 6 PM to 9:45 PM the person in the next room had thier TV on very loud. Repeated calls to the front desk did not help. Apparantly the person had gone out to dinner. We could hear the phone ringing in the room. When the person returned, the TV was turned down. I don't know why hotel staff/security would not go in the room and turn it down. I would not recommend this hotel. Les mer

Hot Hot Hot.... No AC! Cold Cold Cold..... No hot water!!!!

My 15 yearold daughter loved the hotel expecially after the previous 2 nights experience in Galveston hotel, the words out of her mouth when we walked into our room were, "This is what I'm talking about" what a difference! great front desk service.

I called the hotel to ask them to send the Shuttle to pick me up. Nobody picked up for the first 5 calls in a span of 20 min. I afterwards waited 30 min for the shuttle to pick me up. It never came (despite several times i called the hotel and they said they just called the driver and he was pulling in the terminal). I called one last time to say i […] would take a taxi and they say they would pay for it. When i checked in the person told me he could not pay for my taxi... of they never did end up paying for it. As i walk into the hotel there was a guy complaining he has been asking for blankets for 3 hrs and decided to get to the lobby to get them himself. Room was OK. Les mer

Very friendly and helpful staff but condition of hotel is very tired and not to a good standard. Walls, doors, bar seats, carpets are in need of replacement. Room was comfortable and adequate. The staff were extremely nice!

Every time I stay here the staff go beyond in their service focus and delivery. Keep up the great work.

When I checked in I asked for ONE thing - a room that was COOL. When we got to the room the unit would only put out heat. They had to get a maintenance guy to come in, take the vent off the wall and pull some sort of lever to get the cool function to work. ????? Why would they ever disable the cool funciton in HOUSTON?? We had been traveling all day […] and just wanted to go to bed. Unfortunately, we had to wait about 20 minutes for the maintenance guy to come in and do his thing. Not a deal-breaker, just an inconvenience. Other than that, everything was pretty good. Shuttle only took about 15 minutes, check in was prompt, friendly front desk and maintenance personnel,. Food in the tavern was good. Beds were truly comfortable. GREAT pillows! Les mer

Our experience was very good, was confortable, clean and easy access.

I was on the fourth (4th) floor and did not have hot water to shower with. It was approximately 6:00pm, which I assume is not the rush hour for showers. Twice I've stayed at the hotel, and twice this has happened.

too pricy and not at all convenient. No complimentary wifi or refrigerator. Cable TV is even not good.

There are 2 things I look forward to after getting off a plane. 1 - A hot shower - which my room did not have. It would be the following day until an engineer could rectify it. 2 - A HOT TUB - these should be at least 102 degrees. It was 87. Again they would call the engineer - but during my whole stay it was not fixed. The hotel is great for the airport […] - but horrible for anything else. You are trapped there, and it's old with very little features. Even the 'VIP lounge' has a few pops, a water and some fruit. Seek out alternatives if you can find them. Les mer

ALCON, We had pre- registered online and we had a printout of our reservations. Upon our arrival at the hotel we were given a room with double beds and we went back to the desk and the clerk told us this is what we reserved until we showed him the printout. People that were there with us had problems with their rooms also and had to be moved to different […] rooms. My husband and my daughter and grandbaby have allergies and something in the rooms were making them sneeze and headaches. They seem to think that it might have been the carpets or mold in the room. I stayed one night after a business trip. Staff was very helpful, they agree to switch my room (first one was by the ice machine) after I would prefer to quieter area. I ordered room service and the food was fantastic - they even called me to ask me if I liked my meal. I wish I had stayed at this location for the entire trip.

Honestly, the Hotel was cool. Aside from the walls looking like they had been primed but not yet painted, and the need for a new mattress (it looked like one you'd see on the side of a road for trash pickup) - everything else was cool. Check-in Staff and Shuttle Driver were awesome . Shame on me for not remembering their names. Overall, I'd probably […] just ask for another room if I wasn't so tired from the flight. I am not sure I would classify this place as a 4 star! .. Run Down comes to mind when thinking back on my stay there. Staff were very polite, food was ok.

easy in and out to airport on overnight layover. no nearby food options if you are walking. late night lounge food passable. clean room. comfortable bed.

Had to stay overnight from cancelled flight. Receptin desk was exemplary, room was great, made the inconvenience more than bearable.

When checking in at the front desk the clerk tried checking me in a room with two double beds. I told him no that's not what I booked online. I didn't print out my receipt online at the house, so couldn't argue, but I went over to the lobby computer and logged into my email and found the receipt and I printed it and took it to the front desk. He tried […] argueing, but he had no case to fight with me, so he changed my room to the king size room. Les mer

I like this hotel and the location, but the in room Internet acess is SLOW.

We chose the Sheraton because it is only 5 minutes drive from Houston Airport. Many other hotels say they are close to the airport but in fact, they are 20 mins away or further. The hotel is comfortable and staff are pleasant. If using the shuttle from the airport, make sure you use the complementary phone just inside from the pick up area and call […] the hotel to fetch you. This information is not advertised and we waited a good long time before a passer-by told us the hotels exoect to be called from the airport. Les mer

Hotel was clean and decent. It's tough with all the airport type hotels. Always a bit run down, lots of traffic. Rooms were clean - bathrooms also. Was hoping to grab a bite to eat with the kids before we all went down for the night. Very disappointed in the meals and dining selections. High priced, lousy pasta menu in one restaurant - bar food in the […] other. Somewhat impossible to eat decently. I gave up and had a salad. Whatever happend to just good continental / american food? The restaurants here need some work -- plan to hit Taco Bell across the street before you roll in. Les mer

Nice bar and delicious food in the restaurant. A pleasant surprise at an airport hotel. Comfortable beds and attentive staff.

We brought our new puppy and our 9 yr old dog and had no issues from the hotel with having them there! We had a great time and I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

We did have have linen for the bed and access to the bathroom was BAD - the door would not open and getting in and out was the issue

Seemed new , or at least recently renovated . Restaurant SERVICE was supurb .

My stay at the Sheraton North was a brief one since it was only an overnight stay. The room was very inviting with a view of the outdoor pool. The bed was comfy with loads of big fluffy pillows. The shuttle to the airport was right on time. The driver was very attentive and I was very happy that it only took about 10 mins to get to the airport.

We stayed one night due to the state of the hotel. Not only was our $28.00 breakfast cold, rolls were hard, and we had to serve our own beverages. We had nobody checking on us during our meal to ask how it was. I would have refused to pay, but when the attendant finally came to refill my wife's coffee (which as actually cold sitting in her cup full) […] the person had such an attitude. I was so upset we moved to another location without even speaking to nobody. We just checked out. We passed on this info to many many people we met at the airport that day waiting to fly back to MN and I will continue to pass on that this hotel should be avoided. I have never stayed at such a poor Sheraton, but will never return. I would like to be compensated for the horrible stay, but since nobody cared to speak to us while we were there I am sure this email will go unoticed also. Poor hotel!! Les mer

Overall nice place, however I would expect free internet at a hotel of this level. The Business Center computers only allow 45 mins of use, and it is VERY SLOW. Also no free coffe in the lobby in the morning. For me, not worth the cost.

Free airport shuttle every 20 minutes which is convenient. Food in the bar/restaurant is OK and very limited options in walking distance. OK place to stay if you are spending a night in Houston between connecting flights but take a cab from hotel if you want a better dinner option.

The building and location were excellent, but the service had a lot to be desired from assistant at desk as entering hotel, ran out of kleenex they told us, to burntout lightbulbs, non-working functions in room. The decor, bed, cleanliness, were all very good.

Saved a long drive prior to an early departure. Just what I needed.

Spend thanksgiving weekend.after check in found out there is no hot water maybe warm at best,try to call front desk room phone is not working.have go down to tell them.upon return next night both keys did not work,have to go down change both room keys,bad experience.will not book with Sheraton any time soon.oh the soda machine is not working either […] . I had to call twice for a shuttle after a very long wait time. The main light in the room was burned out. The cord to the phone was broken. There was no safe in the room. Not normal Sheraton standards.

Very conveniently located hotel 5 minutes from the airport, the Sheraton North Houston is what you'd expect from an airport hotel, nothing more. Check-in was a breeze, staff was courteous. Positives: inexpensive, clean room with a view. Negative: my room smelled like an ashtray (I could have asked to be switched but I was tired from a long trip).
