Dette hotellet er et meget flott hotell. Her opplever man luksus og topp service i en rolig atmosfære. Hotellet ligger litt utenfor sentrum men det er veldig bra for de som ønsker ro og fin atmosfære når man er på hotelle, samtidig er det kort avstand inn til byen. De har europas beste Spa avdeling her (kåret i 2011). Dette hotellet kan anbefales på det beste.

Fantastisk opphold i Roma på et hotell med uforglemmelig service! Som et eksempel kan nevnes at en i reisefølget fylte år mens vi var der, og helt uforberedt ble vi i frokosten den gjeldende dagen servert musserende vin og hjemmebakt kake samtidig som betjeningen sang for hun som fylte året. Ellers, kan nevnes velutstyrte rom og sjeldent godt utvalg i frokosten.

Kjempebra hotell som ligger svært godt til i forhold til opplevelser i Roma. Var veldig fornøyd med hotellet, det eneste som drar ned er at sengene var litt for harde. Ellers super service. Har aldri opplevd at rommet blir ordnet 2 ganger om dagen før. Og så fikk vi sjokolade og en oppdatert værmelding til kvelden. Veldig bra hotell :-)

Noen få kilometer sør for sentrum ligger EUR. Navnet står for Esposizione Universale di Roma, og stedet ble bygd til en verdensutstilling i 1942. Den bombastisk arkitekturen skulle den gangen glorifisere fascismen, men nå ligger det butikker, kinoer, klubber og utstillingslokaler her. Innenfor marmorhallenes vegger ligger også tre veldig gode museer, inkludert det fascinerende museet for romersk sivilisasjon.

Sheraton er et bra hotel liggende rett utenfor roma ca 6 km,men det er kort vei til Metro ca 8-10 min og gå. fra hotelet til centrum av Roma så er det gjort på ca 20 min. frokosten var bra med god service,litt slitte rom,men du for hva du betaler for:)

Dette er ett flott familie hotell med meget bra service. Det er ikke gangavstand til sentrum,men hvad gjør vel det når hotellet har egen buss som går hele dagen.

Hotellet ligger i en trafikkmaskin uten mulighet til å nå noe som helst til fots. Det er veldig nedslitt og på et av rommene fungerte 1 av 4 lysbrytere og dørene til garderobeskapet manglet. Frokost er overpriset og ikke av imponerende kvalitet. Det er en bra bussforbindelse til byen hver 11/2 time, mens shuttle til flyplassen er veldig lite praktisk […] med 4 timer mellom hver tur. My family (2 adults and one miinor) stayed 3 nights. We had a nice stay. Our room had a sleeper sofa for the kid that worked out good. The Hotel is located between the city and airport which we thought was perfect. Shuttle bus both to the center of the city and the airport or you could walk 5 minutes to the subway which was quite nice and cheap. Nice […] with swimmingpool to cool down in after a hot day in the city. I read a review before we arrived that said the food was more expensive at the Hotel than in the city. Our experience was uposite. We enjoyed the Hotel restuarant the last night and were positivily surprised. Nice buffet and good service from staff. Reception were a little stressed the morning of checkout since two larged travelgroups checked out at the same time. Otherwise quite nice. Les mer

We were here for six nights. The hotel itself is very nice, but the area surrounding it could be better. We chose it because of the location to the metro - a 15 minute walk. However, the sidewalks are barely there, you walk along a very busy street and the Italians drive like crazy. The outdoor pool is in the shade in the afternoon, which is sad because […] it would be nice to have a swim after a busy day exploring Rome. The view from our rooms were bad, since we were at the back of the hotel. The rooms are soundproofed from the outside (and that's good, considering the busy roads just outside the hotel!) but the doors to the hall should have been soundproofed as well. You can hear everyone walking past, and considering the length of the corridor, it's a lot of people! Breakfast was very good, although I found it odd they had two rooms for breakfast, with different things. In the smallest room there was no coffee machine. Rooms and facilities were what we expected from a large hotel like this, nice and clean. Wireless internet was available at the ridiculous price of €16 per day, only alternative was a few slow computers in the lobby. Shuttle bus to rome left with 3 hours interval (€3), this worked well. "Ikke veldig fornøyde"
Da vi låste oss inn på hotellrommet, ble vi møtt av et skittent rom. De hadde ikke ordnet det etter de forrige som var der. Vi fikk et nytt rom, som hadde utsikt til en murvegg og der aircondition ikke virket. Da vi fikk det 3. rommet, hadde ikke rommet strøm. Det ble ordnet relativt fort. Hotellet ligger rett ved en veldig trafikkert vei, som kan […] være vanskelig å krysse. Det er ca 15 min gange til nærmeste butikk for å kjøpe vann etc. og man må krysse to veldig trafikkerte veier og et stort lyskryss. (Italienere stopper ikke for fotgjengerfelt eller når fotgjengere har grønt lys for å gå.) Vi kan ikke anbefale middagen på hotellet, da den er smakløs og servitørene er sure. De har kun ca 20 solsenger, så det lønner seg å være tidlig oppe for å få tak i en. Ellers var det fint med shuttlebuss til/fra hotellet/sentrum som tar ca 30 min Les mer

Kommer gjerne igjen på dette hotellet en annen gang. God service og utmerket med shuttel buss til byen og flyplassen. Dyr mat på hotellet ,men kjempeservice fra de annsatte på hotellet. Vil annbefale og bo her selv om det er ett stykke unna sentrum. Men det gjør jo ingenting så lenge det er shuttelbusser fra hotellet.:) Roma var en fantastisk by og […] være i selv om det var mye folk alle veier. "Påskeferie"
Hadde en fantastisk påske i Roma. Nydelig vær mye god mat og drikke. Hotellet var utmerket, minus for at bassenget åpnet den dagen vi reiste, og at det var dyrt å spise der. Grei shuttle til flyplass, lett å få taxi, ble en del taxikjøring pga beliggenhet...

Meget godt hotell, av høy klasse. Gunstig pris på overnatting, rellativ dyr mat. Flott svømmebaseng med uteservering av mat og drikke. Godt transporttilbud til / fra flyplass og sentrum. +++ for: Alltid taxi klar ved hotellet.

I was pleased until it came time to check out. Should say at check in they said my resv had been cancelled. Then at check out I was presented with a bill for: a 1 euro donation to Unicef to which I had not agreed, a 6 euro item from the mini-bar which I did not use and over 350 euros for a second person in the room which I did not have. "Loved location"
The location was great. They picked us uip at the airport which was about 25 minutes from hotel and had shuttle service back to airport also. It cost 5 euros (free coming to hotel and 5 euros going back). They had a shuttle going down town which was 3 euros round trip which was also about 25 minutes. They dropped us off in a great location for site […] sieeing. The shuttle was a large bus with plenty of room. The staff at the hotel were extremely nice and helpful. Good base for visiting the city and sights. Room slightly dated and could do with overhall. Nice open restaurant and bar area and lovely outdoor pool, although we didn't get a chance to use this. Good courtesy bus service from hotel but had to be paid for daily.

"A Mixed Bag"
Plus: Good food, friendly staff, lovely pool bar Minus: Expensive and poor Internet service, significant accumulations of black mold in bath of 3 different rooms I stayed in. Choosing Green Option resulted in no room cleaning or replacement of dirty towels at all.

The hotel itself is quiet average and the staff at reception have no concept of customer service and are overall quite rude and unhelpful. The hotel also overcharges for all food and beverages in comparison to the prices that can be found in the city of Rome itself. The pool and outdoor area are the only redeeming qualities the hotel possess's.

The Sheraton was a very nice hotel & the service was very good. Although it was far from the city`s center we appreciated the shuttle service to & from the hotel...just be sure to be prompt...it does not wait. The hotel restaurant serves a very nice,complete breakfast. Dinner however, is not the best & is quite expensive.

Not recommended. Rooms were in shabby condition - lightbulbs missing, dusty, minibars scarcely stocked. Service staff in restaurants had attitude issues. EUR is not a nice neighbourhood at all. Hotel is way below Sheraton's general quality level elsewhere. Positive: shuttle bus to city center works well.

Would like to recommand this hotel to every one, 10 min from the centre with metro. And metro on 4min of walking distance of the hotel. Roomservice is more than ok and very good.

You need to take a shuttle or take the metro to go to downtown Rome. Far from everything. If you are arriving by airplane, there is a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. This is very positive especially after a long flight.

Once we got to the hotel which was a little out of the way from the city centre we was very pleased. The only down side of the hotel was the booking in time was so long over an hour just to book in and they were in no fush. the staffl were not that friendly i would say the cleaners were more polite and friendly than anyone else. the hotel was spotless […] and food great although very expensive. i would recommend this hotel. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. We added a couple of nights at the end of our Italian tour, but didn't realize the hotel was a bit out of the way for accessing the "highlight attractions." Staff is very responsive and made us feel very at home. We dined two nights at the hotel and it proved to be one of the best dining experiences during our stay […] in Rome. "Excellent by far Sheraton Roma Hotel & Conference"
Excellent hotel, read about in Hotels.com review. First time in Europe and enjoyed our stay there very much. We arrived in Rome and took the shuttle to hotel (very cheap we found, they just charge to room). We made sure we told them Sheraton Roma suggested in review because the are two Sheraton's. Ate dinner in Hotel one night only (stayed 3 nights) […] and had the antipasto buffet,excellent. You can get the entire buffet for one price and or only the appetizer or entree or salad buffet or dessert all separate (good idea) we didn't want to eat that much anyway. Fitness area nice not to big. Pool nice and big and clean can eat at pool or order a drink. You won't find that anywhere in Rome as our second stay in Rome after our 12 day cruise experienced this. The shuttle was excellent , the cost is worth every penny , we were going to take the local transit but changed our mind due to how convenient the shuttle was and the last shuttle leaves the city center at 11:30 PM. to go to hotel. You will see the first day how hectic the city is for cars, scooters and traffic and will agree. Les mer

A lovely hotel - especially comfortable beds, nice breakfast, lovely pool. We wanted somewhere between Ciampino Airport and the centre of Rome, to begin our holiday in style. The Sheraton Roma is situated in the business area of Rome so outside the city. Shuttle bus takes approx 20mins from hotel at cost of 3 Euros but free for all on return journey and this needs looking at. Hotel is comfortable and has pool as its outside the city however booked club rooms but the club lounge area was closed without warning so paid extra […] for nothing other than token for afree drink (soft) Food was OK but pricey Room was comfortable and bed allowed for a good sleep If I go again it wouldn't be my first choice but if I could get no where else I would stay again Les mer

We stayed at Sheraton Roma for three nights and loved it. The spaceousness, cleanliness, breakfast buffet, restaurant, quietness, bus service (at a minimal cost of 3 euros round-trip) to and from city center, free internet service, easy commute from airport in a shuttle bus, proximity to a metro stattion are all very strong points. Main disadvantages […] were lack of anything to see or do within walking distance and waiting period (90 minutes) between bus service to the city. There is a great outdoor swimming pool but unfortunately it was closed because of the time of the year. Les mer

very good hotel. offers bus service to near the Coliseum for a fee, but the metro is a quarter mile away and it takes you everywhere. They have a band on Thursday and Fridays. Parking on the grounds is expensive in the covered area with security. I parked at the entrance and had no problems.

Having just visited Rome 10 months ago we were back in town for a cruise. We stayed 3 days prior to the cruise and 1 day post cruise at the sheraton. Really the only downside is the location and the food is mediocre but it was so nice to get off the airplane walk outside terminal c and there was a bus for 5 euros each to take you right to the hotel. […] Last time we were there we dragged our bags onto the train for 11 euros each and then switched to the metro and then had to drag our bags to the hotel. They also had a nice pool because it is so hot in the summer there. They do have a nice shuttle service to downtown rome for 3 euros and it beats the mile walk to the metro on a busy road with no sidewalk. After our cruise i had originally booked another hotel but after staying there before the cruise canceled my other reservation and made one at the sheraton. It was great after being on a ship for 13 days, we cam back to the sheraton, took the shuttle to rome for a nice dinner, came back got a good nights sleep and took the 7 am shuttle to the airport and got dropped off right outside the terminal for our 9:20 am flight with plenty of time to spare. So I say if you have never been to rome stay in the heart of things so you can walk and see the sights, but if you have been there and want to save some money, and dont want to pay for taxis or ride the metro all the time the sheraton is the way to go. Good size rooms. Buffet breakfast very good for European standards. My son enjoyed the workout facility. Don't expect to walk anywhere from the hotel. There is a shuttlebus service (20 minutes ride) that drops you off downtown at a point that is about a 15 minute walk to the Coloseum/Forum. The cost for round trip is about 1/4 of what taxi round trip […] fare would be for 4 people. The shuttle runs about every hour, and last shuttle from downtown was at 11:30PM. Les mer

The hotel is pinned into what amounts to a highway ramp so walking to anywhere is difficult. Really there is nothing to walk to anyway. There is very limited "safe" free parking, so a 23 euro a night parking charge is likely, if you are driving. The immediate hotel grounds were fine, but the surrounding grounds including the "unsafe" parking lots were […] litter strewn. There are better choices in Rome. Les mer
"Fantastic value"
I couldn't recommend this hotel more. I researched a lot of hotels in Rome before deciding on the Sheraton and I've come back knowing it was the right choice. You will not get a better hotel with swimming pool, reakfast and transfer for the money. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the beds are really big and comfy. Breakfast is really nice and fresh; […] choice of cereals, fruit or cooked breakfast. Shuttle is convienient (book before, don't just turn up). However, taxis into the centre are under 20 euros anyway. Make sure you tell the taxi drivers at the airport to take you to the Shearton 'Roma'- (there are two Sheratons' in Rome and there is a con to take you to the wrong one as it's closer). Swimming pool is gorgeous - they hand out free towels. Gym is also really nice. Pool bar is very nice too, but be wary of the prices - around £6 a beer! Overall very enjoyable. For the money it's superb value. Would definately go again. Les mer

Lovely hotel. The superior bedrooms are very nice and quiet. Not the best place to get to by public transport, metro and bus or metro and quite a dangerous walk. The bus we caught from the metro station to the hotel did not stop outside the hotel, the bell had rung twice for the stop, it took us one and half hours to get back to the hotel from the […] next stop on.
