We were visiting friends in Kenner so it was very convenient. Friendly, helpful staff. Will visit again.

I stay all over the US, 100+ nights per year. This is a dirty and disgusting hotel. Hard to believe it carries the Hilton flag.

"Not what I have come to expect from a Doubletree"
We stayed here two nights bookending our honeymoon cruise out of New Orleans. The first night we had a sleep number bed that we had to call in maintenance to adjust. Even then it was as hard as a rock and very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, our shower water was luckwarm, at best. When we inquired about it we were told that that part of the hotel […] doesn't get very warm water. Um, what? When we returned or our second stay after the cruise we explained the problems we encountered and were told that we couldn't have both a non-sleep number bed AND warm water. After we went to our room (we chose warm water) we did get a call from the front desk saying they found a room. That bed was definitely MUCH more comfortable and the water was hot. Overall, our impression of the hotel is that it is aged and run down. They are covering it with a verner to make it look good, but the elevators are scary clunky, the ceilings are 70s popcorn style, and apparently the entire hotel cannot support hot water. Last, I would say that the service is not what was expected. We felt like we were being demanding to want a soft bed and hot water. We were treated civily, but not warmly. All in all, it was pretty disappointing for these newelyweds! Les mer
"Very Satisfied"
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Double Tree... especially the warm cookies and comfortable bed. The staff was very helpful and personable. A car is needed to enjoy the area. We were very satisfied and would definitely stay again when we're in the Kenner area of New Orleans, LA..

The Doubletree had fluffy pillows and sleep number beds. Great service, close to the airport and not too far from the French quarter. Only downside is that the walls are a little thin. I'm a heavy sleeper so it didn't bother me much,(my roommate not so much) aside from that, it was great

"dirty room"
The room had not been cleaned. There were no bath towels, and there were dirty dishes and trash in the dresser drawers. When I got in bed, it smelled like body odor. I pulled the sheets back to discover hair and spots that had obviously not been laundered. I was moved to another room but offered no credit or compensations of any kind.

The hotel staff was very polite and helpful this was my second time staying at doubletree the beds are so comfortable. Location is fine if you rather not be in the middle of the French quarter and it's traffic it's about 15min away. Oh yeah and it's a great restaurant about 3blocks down Copeland's excellent food

This hotel does not provide free transportation to the ship ports in New Orleans. You will need to plan on how to get to the port on your own. There are taxi's but we had a large group and charges were out rageous. The gentleman at the front desk did call around to get us transportation to the port. That was awesome and he went out of his way to help […] us. The hotel room that the kids stayed in had no elecricity in the bathroom, and the bed had no remote. "Great Stay"
My daughters and I really enjoyed our stay at the Doubletree in Kenner, LA. Our room offered a homelike feel and it was clean. The location of the hotel made way for easy freeway access going to and from downtown New Orleans. We definitely want to stay again! The staff was polite and the cookies are sinfully delicious! :))

Another guest had left something for me at the front desk for me to pick up when I checked-out, had to request that the clerk actually go look rather than tell me "it's not here". was given the worst room in the hotel, maybe because it was booked online with hotels.com. could not open the drapes as it looked onto the roof and anyone could have looked right into the room. did not feel safe. and when I left the room I placed the do not disturb sign on the door, when I returned not only was the sign gone but they had entered my […] room and "cleaned" it. "Great stay after Cruise"
I booked this hotel to stay one night before and three nights after a cruise from New Orleans port. The hotel was perfect BUT a good distance away from the New Orleans port which caused my group to pay $14 per person for transportation to and from the port. The accommodations were great. the rooms were clean and the hotel staff was very friendly. This […] hotel does provide a shuttle to and from the airport BUT is not the perfect location if you want to see the sites of New Orleans. The beds are Sleep Number beds and very comfortable, the rooms contain a fridge and microwave, there is a thermostat provided in each room and can be adjusted by the guest. The hotel gave out warm chocolate chip cookies upon check-in and whenever requested. There was an incidental charge that didn't make much sense but overall, this hotel was great! Oh, and there was free WiFi that actually worked! There was no free breakfast with our stay but there was a restaurant in the hotel and many choices around the hotel for food. The hotel shuttle provided free transportation to the neighborhood so a car was not necessary. Les mer
"Good business hotel"
Great business hotel that doesn't gouge you for in-hotel items. Parking is free and that is always a plus. Convenient to the interstate and the airport and as hotels go in that area... well worth it.

We selected this hotel because it was close to an all white party that was 5 minutes away. My husband absolutely loved their chocolate chip cookies, staff was extremely professional, the hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Free parking, and enjoyed a good night's sleep. My husband and I will come back again.

All was first rate, except AC unit which would not respond to the OFF button. Finally contacted front desk and discovered the unit only responds to the Wall Thermostat. A note to that effect on the window unit would be helpful.

Overall a very good experience here. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant has the best coffee I've ever tasted. The only shortcoming was the structural condition of my room, the ceiling had been poorly repaired and was in prety rough shape. I will stay here again and simply request a different room if need be.

Hotel was appropriate for price. Air-condiitioner/heater had broken knobs and very difficult to adjust, and it was very loud. There was construction going on outside all night and loud as well. Breakfast the next morning...wait staff very inexperienced. Difficult to get coffee and refills. The hosts at the front desk were very nice and helpful with […] hotel-related things such as help with the computer in the business center and getting us a cab. I would stay there again, but bring the ear plugs!
