this hotel will suffice for those who want cleanliness, service, and convenience without going over the top....highly recommended if you can walk the 800m ot the metro.

Absolutely fantastic! Although I checked in speaking Spanish they quite happily spoke English to me when I struggled to understand. The hotel was clean, the parking was only 14 euros and everything was as good as I had hoped. I would recommend.

I did not like breakfast in this hotel.

Although a little further than we thought to the Metro it was great value for a genuine 4 star hotel, not too far from the city centre. The rooms were very comfortable and breakfast was great! Much better value than surrounding bars and cafes, although it was good to have a choice of local bars and cafes to experience the atmosphere of real Madrid.

Hotels in Spain are much different than US. Once you get over your expectation, you can be satisfied with hotel praga. It was clean, safe, and provided basic toileteries and towels. And had air conditioning, which is important in the summer. It is outside the downtown area, and within about 4 blocks of the metro which takes you into downtown. The food […] in the area is over-priced and not great. There is a grocery store across the street that we frequented. Hotel is good for a family but you could stay at a hostel (slightly less quality) for about the same price in the downtown area and save travel time to all the sights. Les mer

Well placed, comfortable, clean and friendly - excellent value for a city hotel.

I stayed 3 days. Only one person out of 6 front desk people I saw was helpful. Others don't really care at all. Hotel bed is uncomfortable, specially the queen size. The twin beds are better. I felt I was in a motel 6. Go somewhere else.

Everything was great. Clean rooms, excellent breakfast, low-cost 24-hr internet connection, couteous staff. Only bad point is the distance to the nearest Metro station (Marquez de Vadillo, 700m) but Bus route 23 stops in front of hotel. Both cost 1 euro. Really cheap to do your things in Madrid.

I stayed at the Praga the night before my tour started. This was the starting hotel for the tour, so it was easier for me to stay an extra night here before the tour commenced. I found the hotel to be very old and certainly not of 4 star standard, however it was relativley cheap and convenient. Good stars hotel, reasonable pricing for double room. Everything is clean and silent, concierges and hotel staff are very helpful and fluent in English, and other languages. Hotel is located around 5 to 10 min walk from metro, with a lot of cafés and food shops on the way in a lively area during the day, but not at all noisy in the night. It's a 10 […] to 20 min metro ride to the major sites of Madrid (also has a bus stop right in front of the hotel to Plaza Mayor). Metro takes you in 1 hour (2 times changing) to airport Barajas. The Praga was a fine hotel for the money. It is on a street with many fast food places and restaurants at different price points. Because it is not centrally located, the main problem with it was connections to get into town. There is a bus #23 right outside the hotel that runs to a terminus at the Plaza Mayor. So if that is your destination, you can […] go there and back door-to-door. Just don't try it at rush hour, when people are packed like sardines and traffic jams and construction slow things down horribly. However, if you are coming from the train station or airport, it is trickier to figure out public transportation. The hotel staff is pretty useless at helping with this. They advise merely to take a taxi. Which is $50-60 to the airport. The nearest metro stops are all a good 10 min walk away. However, there are 2 other buses which stop nearby. The #55 has a terminus a block from the Atocha train station and stops around the corner a block off from the hotel. And the #116 stops about 10 min walk further on Antonio Lopez street. So if you are using public transport, you should familiarize yourself with these 3 bus lines. Les mer

You need to take a taxi everywhere. No metro close by. Squeaky beds and they join two twin beds to call them a king. The beds kept moving away and were very noisy. The hotel is by a busy street. Not recommended. We found ourselves another hotel after two days. Beware Madrid has two train stations Atocha and Chamb something Check your tickets carefully […] to see where you arrive and depart. Good hotel for the price. The hotel is located 15 minutes away from the main city atractions. Bus stop is right outside the hotel, metro station is 10 blocks away the price for the metro or the bus is 1 euro per ride or you can buy 10 rides for 7 euros. lots of restaurants and boutiques around the hotel. the food is relatevily cheap average of 10 euros […] per meal( around hotel). The hotel is slightly south of downtown and away from the hustle and bustle of the main city (which we liked). It's located in a slightly eclectic neighborhood. It's not too far from the Metro (the Marques de Vadillo stop) which is the key to getting around in the city. The hotel itself was clean and had a very nice bathroom. Super Preis Leistungsverhältnis!!! Besser gehts nicht!!

Tyst, rent, bekväma sängar och bra temperatur i rummet. Hotellets restaurang även helt OK. Dock kan man undra när hotellet senast servade sina hissar? Skakigt och gnissligt värre men funkade ändå. Livsmedelsaffär, café/bar precis intill hotellet. Gångavstånd till metron. Riktigt bra läge om man tänkt kolla Atlético Madrid på Vicente Calderon.

Todo bien. Habitación cómoda y limpia. Buena atención por parte de los empleados. Está a 10 minutos a pie de la estación Marqués de Vadillo.A la puerta del hotel hay una parada de bus que llega cerca de la Plaza Mayor. En los alrededores hay muchos bares para comer algo a buen precio.

Un poco mas que bueno.

posizione fantastica, fermata del bus davanti all'ingresso, con due fermate arrivi alla fermata della metro, in 10 minuti, al capolinea, arrivi a plaza mayor...camere enormi e confortevoli, colazione abbondante e varia, personale molto disponibile!!! Ci ritornerei sicuramente.

muy proximo al vicente calderon,nos dieron una suit preciosa ,nos encanto ,decoprada con mucho gusto ,ha este hotel ya he ido mas veces

O HOTEL TEM UM BOM QUARTO, TUDO BEM LIMPO SO O ISOLAMENTO ENTRE QUARTOS QUE NÃO É BOM SE OUVE MUITO BARULHO PRINCIPALMENTE DE MADRUGADA QUANDO CHEGA HOSPEDES DA RUA E GRITAM E CORREM PELO CORREDOR DO HOTEL SEM NENHUMA REPRESSÃO.

Hotel mantiene una atencio muy particular, muy profesional al igual que sus instalaciones, que son realmente muy especiales y cordiales. Su ubicacion es un poco retirada, pero muy accesible a todo tipo de transportacion terrestre a los distintos puntos de interes. Sus alrededores son de gran reconocimiento de la vida cotidiana Espanola al igual que […] la cordialidad que su comunidad representa, todos se desbordan por atenderte. Les mer

Ho soggiornato nell'hotel con trattamento di BB ed ho trovato un buon rapporto qualità / prezzo. L'hotel non è molto centrale ma con bus e metro si riesce a spostarsi con facilità. Il personale è abbastanza gentile e disponibile. Lo consiglio!

расположен недалеко от магистральных трасс. если планируете продолжить путешествие на авто, то это довольно удобно. отель большой. звукоизоляция иногда страдает. наши окна выходили во внутренний двор, было шумновато ночью. номера довольно удобные, завтрак сносный.

En general está bastante bien, aunque hay bastante diferencia de unas habitaciones a otras en tamaño. Algunas son interiores y excesivamente pequeñas. La limpieza está bien. A 15 minutos andando del metro Marqués de Vadillo. La zona no es que sea "muy allá", pero tiene cerca varios sitios para comer a buen precio.

Hotel Praga is a nice hotel, but the starff in the reception could be more handsome ond helpsome.

Es un hotel que se utiliza simplemente para dormir. La primera impresion que da es de antiguo. Mas que nada por el color de la recepcion, todo marron y la iluminacion no ayuda tampoco a ello ya que le da una localidad sobria. El bar restaurante da un buen servicio. Pero los precios del bar creo que son caros, teniendo en cuenta la cantidad de bares […] que hay alrededor con precios mas asequibles deberian amoldar el precio a la zona y no a las 4 estrellas. Creo que asi el bar tendria mas huespedes consumiendo en el local. Les mer

Siempre que viajo a Madrid me alojo en el Praga, está en una zona barata de la capital. Sobre todo solicitar las habitaciones con dos camas (las de matrimonio suelen ser mas pequeñas)

El trato al ciente recibido por parte de recepción del hotel y sus conserges deja mucho que desear y vimos peores tratos a otros clientes en grupo de avanzada edad.
