Et litt mindre overnattingssted. Drevet av et hyggelig ektepar som tok godt vare på hotellet. Utrolig reint og ryddig. Flisene på badegolvet kunne du speile deg i.

There was a frightening moment where my Hotels.com reservation was lost. There may be "an issue" between this hotel and Hotels.com; customers should doublecheck with the hotel to insure that a paid-for reservation exists.
"Great stay"
Nice room. Sliding door to backyard was nice feature. Awesome internet speed (>5Mbps) which is rare in a hotel. This is more upscale type hotel. One complaint is that they don't honor parking if you have to fly out for few days (contrary to what I read) so I had to park at the parking place next door. "San Jose Airport Garden Inn"
I had stayed at this Hotel before in Nov. 2012, and it was a very nice room in Building 6. The staff was nice and the small bar was very cute too. We also enjoyed the closeness of San Jose Airport. We stayed in Building 3 and it was old and musty smelling. The bar was closed for the holidays - why? The staff said there was bar and food across the street […] - a Subway sandwich and fast food MX restaurant was all. When my husband asked him why he said bar across street (when the closest was over 1 mile away), he said that's right, I forgot. The only good thing about our stay this time, is that is close to San Jose Airport...so probably won't stay there again! Les mer

Hotel was in a very convinient location but is a bit run down. Needs to be updated and have the musty smell removed.

The grounds were really pretty and serene. Very convenient to public transportation. Staff was friendly and provided top knotch customer service. Rooms and hotel very clean. Spacious comfortable room. Traveled downtown via light rail for a romantic dinner.

"Tough one"
I had a brutal stay here. The first room they gave me smelled bad. I left my luggage the room and spoke to the front desk. I was assigned a new room on the 2nd floor. No elevators. I dragged my luggage to the new room, pushed away some cleaning carts to get to my room, only to find the keys didn't work. Dragged my luggage back to the 1st floor stinky […] room and got new key for the 2nd floor room. Dragged luggage back up the stairs to the new room. Keys worked..finally. Toilet ran all night. I told the front desk twice and they did nothing. Good thing the heater in the room "drowns" out the sound of the toilet. I could go on and on. 15yrs in the industry...traveling...worst experience to date. Les mer
"Good Place To Stay..."
On first impression, this hotel was old and in need of a renovation. After staying there for a few nights, my opinion was that it was a good hotel, friendly staff, and comfortable enough. A good value for the money. It still need a renovation, but it's a decent place to stay.

Excellent breakfast and lobby. Filthy carpets in hallways and extremely run down rooms. The elevator was carpeted floor to ceiling and dirty. The beds were uncomfortable. The hotel was affordable, for me and my friend. I stay in San Jose once in a while to avoid commute to work, so I am looking for an affordable place to sleep and relax in. This hotel did not help me relax or sleep at all...there was a distinct smell coming from it...smelled like cigarette smoke from the curtains...really gross. And this was not just […] in one room, but in two rooms. I told front desk of the problem, and yes, they were courteous enough to allow me to switch rooms, however, the other room was actually worse!! I had to open the windows to get some clear air inside... This was in building 6, so if you stay there, i would avoid this building. I would have to say, the parking was nice, a lot of it inside hotel, nice that they have wireless internet, but the smell and room conditions were far too bad for me to come back! Les mer

Hotel was fine, dinner at the restaurant-- I had the chicken sandwich and a beer-- made me sick. Very inconvenient, since I had to get on a 5-hour flight early the next morning. Also, there was a hair on the surface of the beer glass (gross).

Nice hotel in general, now some pros and cons: Pros: - The breakfast is small, but pretty practical. No line at all, coffe, bread and apples. Perfect to grab a quick bite and run to the airport. - The hotel shuttle to the airport is just perfect. "Park and fly hotel"
We stayed the night before our flight and the night of our return. We left our car and had two comfortable nights sleep. It was a very good way to start and end the vacation. The room is small but comfortable.

It is good and comfort for me to stay with the hotel, Convenience for dinning places just next to it. I would happy to take my next trip there again and stay with the same hotel without question.
"Impressed for the price."
I was ready for disaster after reading other reviews on this place, however I was pleasantly surprised how good the services was, the food was very resonably priced, and very good tasting. The units were a little worne but not bad at all. I would definately stay again if I am in the area. I would also recommend it to others.

"Airport Garden Hotel- Get in the main buildings!"
We out in building 6 which was out in the back 40... We had quite a walk, plus the surroundings were not nearly as nice... It was like going to Circus Circus and staying in the manor... only there you get a cheaper rate.
"Adequate"
Nothing special. The grounds are nice. The rooms are a little tired. Food is okay. Price was a little high but much cheaper the the conference venue around the corner so no complaints overall.
The rooms were filthy, unkept and in desperate need of renovation. If this is a 3 star I would hate to see a 1 star.

The shower in this room did not have hot water but the sink did this was not acceptable for the price that was paid for the stay. The rooms are very dated and there was an odor that was unpleasent. The walls were so thin thatI was kept up by the amount of noise from other rooms and people walking outside of the hotel

"Expected Much More"
The pictures of this hotel and the lobby were great. But then we arrived in our room. Perhaps it's only Building 6 that looks quite old and rundown - maybe that's the building for hotel.com customers -- I don't know, but it was certainly NOT what I expected. We were pretty disappointed.

The San Jose Airport Garden Hotel was outdated and poorly maintained. The iron in my room was rusty, there was a random metal bracket sticking out of the wall, the "art" in the room was so old it was literally rotting off the canvas, the TV cable just emerged from a random hole in the wall and to top it all off the fire alarm in the room next to me […] went off twice during the night! stayed for 3 days - beautiful grounds, comfortable room. Free #10 bus to airport drops off right across the street, and the light rail train stop was also right outside the hotel. Very convenient to get to from SJC or Caltrain.

After reading previous ratings/comments, I was a bit leary of booking this hotel. However, I was VERY PLEASED with the servie and accomodations and thought it was a great value!Room was nice and breakfast was fast and good.

"Inside/Outside"
The lobby, location and outside settings are very well maintained but appear to be camouflage for the outdatedness of the rooms. Old wornout furniture and a small 19" color tv in the armoir brought the quality of the experience down for me. The bathrooms were well kept and the shower was a large shower, sorry ladies, no bathtub. Plenty of room with […] a corner made into a seat. Our best experince was in the hotel restaurant. The meals were very good in a rustic setting. The breakfast that was purchased with the room was made to order, although one waiter did not ask us how we wanted our eggs nor give us a choice of bread, like the others did. And although the breakfast included oragne juice and coffee, we had to ask for the oragne juice everyday. The menu was current and very affordable as compard to other hotels. The hotel was easy access to US 101 and the airport. The highway access gave us quick access to everywhere we wanted to go. older hotel with beautifu gardens,pool and hottub. very clean. Rooms could use an update. Trafic noise was a bit loud. staff were mostly helpful and friendly. would consider staying again.

I was not overly satisfied with this hotel..While the room was comfortable and clean, the rest was questionable. Namely the restaurant & bar. The hotel room was nice enough for an airport hotel, could use some remodel, but that wasn't the issue. The staff members checking in acted like they were going out of their way to do us a huge favor by letting us check in. Probably the rudest customer service I have ever experienced. Horrible, absolutely a nightmare to deal with.

Good hotel for short stays close to the airport and the hotel has a free shuttle. The room was nice but BEWARE of the room service fees.
