Hotellet er fint. Alle er hjelpefulle og hyggelige. Fine rom, og alt er nytt og pent. Pluss for basseng, for det var ekstremt varmt når vi var der. Men det blir raskt fullt, siden det er få solsenger ved bassenget. Fitnessommet har kun nye treningsapparater, og de er fantastiske. Trente hver dag. We had Friday evening show tickets & the Hyatt was a great location. Courtney @ the fornt desk was very friendly & welcoming. Chris @ the lobby bar took great care of us both upon arrival & after the show. They had fast elevators (with glass view either into lobby or out to the city view), comfortable room furnitings / linens & quiet dark rooms for […] sleeping in on Saturday. We didn't make it upstairs to the Spindletop (rotating) bar due to time limits. We'll definitely try it out next time. Les mer

The hotel was a surprise. Better than expected. Good value, comfortable. I stayed off the atrium.. so didnt hear any noise.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is modern and they provided great customer service. We enjoyed the revolving spindletop resturant on top of the 30th floor,cool. The downtown location was perfect. The hotel it's self is nice. Parking is difficult to find at night, had to make a circle around the area, then had to leave the hotel, got 2 lights down, turn left and then left into the parking garage. That was a bit much at midnight. The staff was nice, checking in and out was easy. The problem I have with this hotel is if you want quiet, don't go […] there. Their bar area is on the first floor in the middle of the hotel and it's open all the way up to the ceiling. There was a wedding party there and I heard them til they left. One of the bathroom lights went out and it was dark while showering, and it came back on after I got out, that was pretty annoying. It had some bad things, but it was comfy. Les mer

Not enough attendants. Had to wait to drop car off and pick up car. Also, in a confined space and waiting for car, too many people smoking. Uncomfortable for those of us who suffer from a lung disease.

Bathroom sink was clogged, and water was so visible milky from chlorine, could not use. Hotel room was higher priced room, and all I received was a "polite" 'I am sorry'. Stayed on the 15th floor, but could still hear noise from post-rockets party in early morning. Room was clean, but sheets were rough. The bar closes early if they don't have a lot of people. There was 12 people in there and their kicked us out cause there was not enough business to stay open. This was 1130 pm

Great hotel, in the middle of downtown. Clean luxurios rooms.

the desk lady was super nice and i like that i got a free shuttle to the toyota center from the hotel. love this place! just didnt like the parking but overall very good

Beautiful location! Had trouble with the key to room the first night bur overall, they have great service.

We had an event at toyota center and hyatt was less than a mile away. Take the bike taxi! Beautifhl hotel on and great service.

Loved our stay. We only stayed for one night, but loved every bit of the hotel. Enjoyed to cleanliness, Bagel shop in the hotel, and valet service. Thought the valet price for overnight was a little steep, but other than this everything was great!

Great place to stay. Walking distance to George R Brown and Toyota Center. Staff puts up with belligerent drunks well. Definitely recommended!

The hotel was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable.We look forward to staying every year for the Susan G. Komen race.

This was a great hotel to stay in....we will definitely stay in this chain of hotels on our future vacations.

Great Hotel! Only thing we weren't aware of before the stay was the additional cost to park for either self or vallet parking But lots of hotels do this these days.

Hotel was neat in design, very clean rooms,helpful and friendly front desk. Shuttle to location was great and unexpected. Enjoyed our walk around downtown. The room was so HOT, we had the AC down to 65 and had no relief. Almost had to go to bed hungry. The ballpark food was really bad, so upon return of the game we were starving. I was in Room 2723. Rooms on this side of the hotel is too noisy during the day because of constuction outside the building.

This hotel is built around a bar, it doesn't matter if you are 20 stories high, at night you hear the rowdy, yelling, laughing bar patrons until all hours of the night. It is also a big convention hotel, you hear convention-goers ALL NIGHT LONG, our next door neighbors partied until after 4:30am. We got NO sleep. The manager is nice, offered us a free […] room in a 'quiet' location. We will give it one more try. This was our 3rd stay and each has gotten much worse as far as noise. It is the perfect location for the symphony and the parking is only $15.00/night which isn't bad for downtown Houston. If you don't care about sleeping at all, then this is the place for you because everything else is great. Les mer

The hotel is within walking distance of the theater we attend, that is by far the best and only feature that keeps us coming back. They are in transition with a new cafe/bagel store. There are no vending machines except for drinks anywhere in the hotel, the restaurants are extremely high priced, the food is mediocre. Our room had a dirty water bottle […] from the previous person in the closet, so housekeeping isn't great. The noise from the lobby filtered up 20 stories until midnight. Obviously the staff doesn't enforce or care about any type of 'quiet time'. We are currently looking for another hotel that is within walking distance to the Jones Hall. My wife and spend at least 2 weekends a month at hotels and for our Anniversary night (Feb 18th) we made the mistake of choosing The Houston Hyatt. We arrived and were give possibility the worst room in the hotel. After asking we were given a much nicer room, but what I don't under stand was we were told the hotel was only at 30% capacity. IF that's […] the case why give us such a crappy room? We weren't early (in case there would have been a rush for rooms) we actually arrived after 6pm. We made reservations earlier at the Spindle top..had an average dinner with a fine dining price but that's fine I didn't expect much after reading other reviews of the "newly renovated) restaurant . After dinner we went down to the beautiful lobby bar that we saw coming in. As it being our anniversary we wanted to cocktails or maybe a bottle of wine or champagne. The bar was CLOSED at 9:30! Again we were told the hotel was only 30% and The NAPE convention just left so the employees are "worn out". What?! So what how about the patrons that were there? We ran into two other couples that were as flabbergasted as we were about that comment and the MAIN bar being closed. We just went to our room and checked out the next morning...very disappointed and next time we know to stay at any of the other 10 downtown hotels. Thanks Hyatt for ruining our special day! Les mer

My stay at Hyatt downtown Houston was all that I could have wished for. Very clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was most accommodating from the valet parking attendants to the restaurant servers. My friend, who was in another room and I both agreed that our stay could not have been more refreshing and more even than we expected.

Everything about my stay at the Hyatt was Good. My girlfriend and I attended a local event and wanted to take advantage of Downtown Houston after the show. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The Hotel was well maintained and inviting. The bed was absolutely comfortable and I wish I could have that mattress in my personal bedroom. Very comfortable! One […] slight note is the bathroom in our room did not have the greatest lighting for women when they need to put on their makeup. Other than that, the positives far outweigh the one slight negative. A good value for a good room. I would definitely stay there again. Les mer

Stay here last week and I was VERY impressed! Clean rooms, luxurious amenities, affordable price! I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

The check in staff were so polite and very Texas friendly. All other staff that I came across never said a word to me. And, I blame this on their Hotel training.

My wife and I stayed @ the Hyatt in downtown Houston and I mean when I say that I will surely be back for another weekend get away.

The hotel itself was great although I thought $25.00 for the night on Valet service was a little over the top.

Staff was the friendliest and most helpful we have ever experienced. Helped make our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you
