Veldig bra hotell med kjempefin beliggenhet. Hyggelig, rimelig.

Veldig hyggelig betjening.

Staff is very attentive and great to work with. Was not happy with housekeeping. Had to ask them to sweep floor and leave sufficient towels. Otherwise is a nice place to stay

"Beautiful Hotel but Bit of a Walk to Local Sights"
I thought the Hyatt Regency New Orleans was a beautiful hotel. Very new, contemporary and clean. The room was great!! 2 full huge windows as I had a corner room and the bed was extremely comfortable. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was good except forgetting to replenish toilet paper and water on 2 out of my 4 night stay. Hotel […] location is just o.k. as it's quite a hike to the French Quarter and other local sights but we managed. Les mer
"The place is beautiful but not user friendly."
Before you Book, you'd better call and check if Loyola is still closed. If your GPS keeps pointing you towards Loyola, find the detour. Within a block of the canopy that faces Loyola, you can finally get through the barricades. Also, you have to take either the elevator, escalator or the stairs to the 3rd floor to get to the elevators that actually […] get to the guest rooms. The controls for the elevator are confusing for the first time user. The lobby is beautiful and the rooms were clean, comfortable and modern. The staff was efficient but not over chatty. I prefer this. Les mer
"Close enough"
Overall a very good stay for a busy weekend in NOLA! Friendly staff. Location currently has a bit of construction around it but not something that would deter me from staying here or recommending it.
"Room for improvement"
As a late booking for Jazz Fest, this was what was available. Loyola St is closed in spots so actually getting to the hotel was a big challenge but not their fault. Valet parking was outrageously expensive. Yes, you get in and out privileges but when you consider the rather expensive base rate and three different taxes it was a joke. The rooms were […] clean at first glance but dust and glass rings were there if you looked. Les mer

"Close to Bourbon street and french quarter!"
Good service and great location. A bit pricy but still worth it.
"Wow"
Most amazing elevators I have ever seen! Seriously, I can;t believe I am commenting on elevators, but they are too cool not to mention. The only downside to this hotel, was that the coffee shop (Starbucks) was buried in a not obvious place and too small for the size hotel. There was a consistent line in the morning of 20+ people!

"New and clean"
This was the cleanest hotel I've stayed at in New Orleans. It was a little farther out than I expected but the walk was okay (about 1/2 mile to the Quarter).

It was a good stay! I miss the mall connected to the hotel though.

"Information Left Out"
A couple of thing that was not mentioned on hotels.com nor the hotel itself is the fact that there is no cancellation. If you cancel, you are still charged the full price of the hotel. Also, they do not tell you that there is no parking. They offer valet parking for the price of $38.50, which if you use the parking garage behind the hotel, it is $25.00/24hours. […] There were people "hanging out" in the lobby all hours of the night who were not paying customers of the hotel. When we woke up and went into the lobby in the morning, several people were sleeping on the couches in the lobby. I do not spend that kind of money on a hotel to have undesirable people sleeping in the lobby. Les mer

Beautifully renovated just recently. Very considerate TV app that lets you view a guide, order room service or request amenities. F&B Outlets are very nice as well. Great bars and restaurants right around the corner.

"Hyatt New Orleans next door to superdome and arena"
Very nice and modern facility
"Great rooms - Beautiful hotel"
The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are amazing. Just beware that in order to get to the rooms you have to go up 2 levels of escalators, then walk a ways to the room. It's not a big deal unless you smoke and got a non-smoking room! Cab fare for 4 people from here to Bourbon Street is only $8!! Spend the money instead of walking!
"Hyatt Regency - New Orleans"
Special package for stay 2 nights and one night free with breakfast buffet a good bargain. Would not get breakfast buffet within included in room rate as way too expensive ($28). Use nearby parking as rate at hotel is also steep. (O'Keefe street parking garage just two short blocks away at less that half thee cost ($15 versus $38/day). Staff very freindly […] and helpful. However if you call the front desk for something they take a long time to get it to you. Rooms also sometimes did not get cleaned until 4-5 in the afternoon. (Reuse of bedding is the norm and you need to request if you want them changed.) Still overall a nice hotel and only a 10-15 minute walk to Bourbon St. in the French Quarter. Les mer
"hyatt regency, New Orleans"
Beautiful hotel, reasonably priced for location and quality. Helpful staff , great view of the super dome from our room. Loved it!
Great hotel and great service but you will do a lot of walking. Unless you are going to the Superdome everything is 10 blocks away. If you don't want to pay the high price to valet park there are some cheaper lots on S. Robertson Street.
"Hyatt Dings"
The hotel was fine. Hyatt's extra charges for internet are annoying. Valet parking was also over priced.
"Hyatt Regency"
Best deal for the money. Fabulous Hotel!!! Fabulous city!!!
"Hyatt Regency New Orleans"
Great hotel. My daughter was getting married and we used 2 adjoining rooms for the bridal party to get dressed. The grand stairway was an absolute plus for stunning pictues.

"Hyatt Regency in NOLA"
The hotel was fantastic. The bar service was a little slow, considering they served me an Irish Coffe in a styrofoam cup, the ambiance was great. Valet parking was a mess, but it was St. Patricks Day and lots going on.
"Hyatt Regency-a bit of a hike"
The hotel was excellent, and I would highly recommend it if you are attending an event at the Superdome. As someone who was more focused on the French Quarter, the hike back and forth to and from the hotel got a bit old. I am a fit 30-something male, and it took me about 20 minutes to get from the edge of the French Quarter to the hotel. That may not […] sound like a lot until you make a few trips back and forth as I did-often in the early morning hours. Of course cabs are readily accessible, but I prefer to walk to get a sense of the city. Les mer
"Shiny and New"
Stayed just one night in the new Hyatt Regency New Orleans, located adjacent to the Superdome. The hotel is fresh and new and in a portion of the Central Business District that will -- once all the extensive construction is done -- create a nice area with several amenities. At the moment...not so much. the hotel has an unusual feature in having all […] the restaurant, bar and lounge on the 3rd floor -- perhaps to avoid another flood? But this makes the lobby rather hanger-like. Also, the elevators are split -- 1-3 and then 3-whatever, so to get to your room you have to schlep luggage up 2 long escalators and across the 3rd floor to the back of the hotel and then down long hallways once you arrive at your floor. One big plus was the option of an allergy-friendly room -- big HEPA filter and non-irritating products for linens and bath items. No feathers or down pillows -- the first good night in a hotel in a long time. Worth the surcharge. Les mer
"Air Conditioning Noise"
First the front desk tried to talk us into taking a single double bed room rather than our booked king size bed because "housekeeping was behind" at 6:30pm, and anyway all the rooms were the same size, just the bed was different. We checked out the tiny room and returned to the front desk and said we would wait until the king size room was ready. All […] of a sudden, rooms were available and they were not the same size. Either the clerk was under trained or motivated to switch guests from more expensive rooms to smaller rooms without offering compensation. The AC was so loud it was a miserable night. The next morning we had to change rooms three times because of the noisy air conditioners. A young man from engineering finally met with us to explain that because previous guests complained of the noise when the AC cycled on and off, they simply set the fan to always 'on' and broke the switch on the thermostat. We were told "with the fan always running you will get use to it". For a high end hotel, this was unacceptable and we were finally moved to a high floor with a noisy AC but a functioning thermostat you could turn off. However; to arrange the move, the engineering lad had to turn the AC completely off to hear the front desk on his radio! Les mer
"hyatt new orleans close to french quarter"
This was a beautiful hotel. I only took off a point because our room was to be ready at 4 to check in and it wasnt and after a 16 hour train ride it was disappointing. Also the Clerk that was checking in was snippy with me because they had to make 2 phone calls over an hour later to tell us that our room was ready, well, since well couldnt relax, we […] had to eat, which was better than sitting in the lobby waiting all that time. Also, he gave us no instruction on how to operate the elevator or give instruction on how to get to our room. But, the rest of the hotel service was excellent. Les mer
Hotel is newly refurbished and well appointed. When we arrived the bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly. We went out when the cleaner came and when we returned the door was still open. We also had problems with our plumbing - water very slow to heat up and toilet blocked. Parking is valet only and there are no in-room coffee making facilities.
"Awesome Experience!"
The accommodations and services were truly an experience. Great customer service upon check-in and check-out. Not to mention the room looked update and 21st century. Location of hotel was at the center of everything. Simply GREAT!!!
"Hyatt Regency in NOLA-very minor problems"
The only thing I found wrong, and I hate to even mention it because it is so trivial, was that there was no coffee maker in the room. Fortunately, there was a Starbucks on the 2nd level, but they weren't open very early nor very late. I'm glad nothing untoward happened because of the restrictions on writing reviews.
"EXCEPTIONAL STAFF"
Me and a friend stayed 3 nights at the Hyatt this past weekend through Fat Tuesday for Mardi Gras. First off- the hotel is breathtaking. Beautiful from floor to roof top. The views from the rooms are amazing, the restaurants are spotless and the rooms are cozy and efficient. Secondly- I have NEVER experienced a more friendly, helpful staff anywhere […] in my travels. And I have traveled quite a bit. The first night we checked in my suitcase must have been opened slightly because a bag fell out as I wheeled through the lobby. I did not notice until the next morning and when I went to the lobby to speak with concierge regarding a lost and found, the gentleman quickly went to look for me. About 5 minutes later he returned with my bag with both pairs of $100 jeans in it untouched, unharmed. The night manager, whose name I believe is Seaborn (not sure about spelling) found them shortly after they fell from my suitcase and kept them safe for me. Throughout our stay both the concierge and manager checked on me to make sure I hadn't misplaced anything else :-) They were truly WONDERFUL. This hotel is newly remodeled, but that isn't what makes it exceptional. The staff their, from the valets to the restaurant wait staff, is amazing. STAY HERE anytime you are in NOLA!!! Les mer

"Stay away on busy weekends"
I stayed at the Hyatt Regency during the weekend before Mardi Gras. The hotel is in a good location at the fringes of the French Quarter. It's ok to walk to your destination, since taxi's won't help much on some of the locations (streets are blocked off). I love the hotel itself. I heard they did a total renovation and it looks great. They have restaurants […] and bars, and its definitely I nice place to enjoy if you don't feel like leaving the hotel for a few hours. Only problem is the SERVICE! Unfortunately, that's a pretty important aspect of any hotel and I found the service and management at the Hyatt to be poor at best. When I first arrived, I had booked a King and they gave me a Queen. When I asked them to give me my King, they did and gave me the highest floor which was nice but they took over 30 minutes to bring the key up to me. I called them multiple times, letting them know that I'd walk down (another inconvinience about this hotel is the lobby is about 1/2 mile away. Down the elevator to the third floor, across the bars/restaurant, down to escalators...literally 1/2 a mile). So eventually I got my key and all was well. Until the tv stopped working. I asked them to fix it the next day since I was going out anyways and didn't care, so I called them before I left and when I returned 4 hours later they didn't fix it. They sent up the manager and got it fixed after like an hour. But that's not all. The worst part of this trip was the check out. It took me over an hour and a half to get my car from the valet. They weren't prepared for the mass exudus of people from the hotel. By the way, the majority of people who actually were on the floats (the "Krewe's"), stayed there. So after checking out at 12, we left the hotel a little before 2PM. We were hoping to do some things before out flight at 6. But that pretty much cost us the rest of the stay. I've never seen such a poorly ran hotel, especially one that doesn't end in Inn. In conclusion, I'd never stay here agai Les mer
"Hyatt, beautiful hotel, cold showers & cool room"
Hotel is very nice, new and the staff is very prevalent when you need them. We had to call for hosekeeping as they missed a day. We had a suite on the outside wall of the hotel on the 25rth level. Getting hot water for a shower was problem. The hotel said they were working it out. They said we were too far from the central corridor where the hot water […] came from. They also suggested that we shower earlier and earlier to get a warm shower...by the last day she was thinking about staying up all night to wait for the right moment to shower. The room heater..it was cold there that weekend..would run constantly and the fan blower could blow a hairpiece off your head. Very noisy and intrusive. Basic Internet access was a charge for use only option. Way to pricey for daily access at just under a sawbuck a per day. Still given the issues we had it was a nice property and location...hopefully the other items that detracted from our stay get resolved or changed. Les mer
The hotel was very nice except the rooms did not have any place to put your under wear and socks. There was no dresser drawers,They had a closet to hang shirts and coats and that was it. The bath room was very small for a suit also.
"Hyatt NOLA- biz hotel"
First of all, this hotel has the most annoying TV system ever. It's an interactive system from where you control the tv, room service, internet, etc. However, it's really buggy and it kept either freezing or not working at all, which meant every time we wanted to even change the channel it was frustrating as it would freeze and require a reset by reception. […] We had maintenance twice in the room trying to fix it until we gave up trying. Also, how come I can get free internet with my 4 dollars cup of coffee at Starbucks (on the 2nd floor) but there is no free wifi in my expensive room?! The building overall is quite nice, completely remodelled after the floods. However, another modern feature, the smart lifts, end up being the 2 nd most annoying feature of this hotel: the work with your room key and only certain lifts would take you to certain floors (but neither of the room lifts take you to reception, for which you need to use the separate set of public lifts) which means you constantly see guests dragging their suitcases around completely at loss as were to go. The neighbourhood is the biz district, which meant a 15/20 min walk to ghe French quarter, or a short taxi. The hotel is convenient for the super dome and basketball arena, though, right behind the building. This means traffic can be a nightmare on event days. The bar and restaurant are quite nice, and the gym is equipped with top of the range machines. Overall the public areas are really nice and modern, but the rooms are impersonal, of the small side (for a 4*) and lacking personality. As a biz hotel works but that's about it. Les mer
"billing issues"
The hotel was very nice & comfortable. However, our credit card was charged incorrectly by the hotel. We had prepaid through hotels.com, but still received charges to our credit card for the room rate. After several calls to the hotel & subsequent credits with additional inaccurate charges and more crediting, the account was eventually reconciled.
"The Hyatt New Orleans - highly recommended!"
Honestly, I have nothing but positive things to say about my stay here. The hotel is beautiful & clean, and the staff was as friendly and catering as possible. Great location, nice views (especially from the gym) and overall just a great experience. Will definitely be back for another stay!
"Hyatt Regency-New Orleans"
We stayed on New Years Eve and thought we would never get in our room, upon arrival we were told it would be one hr to check in, we checked back for the next 7 hrs and finally got our room at 8 pm, every time we came to get in, we had to check our bags in and out, CRAZY!!! We spent $50.00 just on our luggage!!! The elevator system was crazy!!! Will […] not stay at this overpriced hotel again... Very disappointed... Les mer
