Flott hotell, gode rom og god service fra personalet. Beliggenheten er helt klart det beste, nærhet til stranden og en hyggelig gågate med spisesteder, kafeer og butikker. Ca 20 min med taxi til downtown Dubai (Burj Kalifa, Dubai Mall osv..)

På dette hotellet får man mye for pengene. Betjeningen er veldig vennlig og serviceinnstilte. God frokost som er relativt billig. Man skal ikke forvente storslått utsikt fra rommet. Hotellet har fine store rom og er veldig rene. Det er et ok svømmebasseng på taket. Hotellet ligger ikke helt sentralt, men jeg kan anbefale hotellets egne biler som både er av høy kvalitet og koster lite. Jeg og min 10 år gamle datter brukte dette hotellet som utgangspunkt for å utforske den bymessige delen av Dubai, og tilbrakte resten av ferien på er stort resort. Dette var en perfekt kombinasjon for oss.

Et flott hotell som yter god service og hyggelige ansatte. Rommet har alt man trenger. Hotellet ligger i gamlebyen, nær billige butikker. Veldig fornøyd med alt hotellet tilbyr av mat, butikker, komfort.

Rommet hadde ca 30 m2 inkl. bad og gang. God seng. Balkong med 2 stoler og bord, fin utsikt over bukten. Baderommet var lite, hotellet er bygget på 70-tallet. Hotellet hadde mange gode restauranter, barer og butikker. Hotellet ligger rett ved siden av metro, lett å komme seg overalt i byen.

Hotellet ligger i den "gamle" bebyggelsen og har fortsall "liv" rundt seg. Med båtforbindelse like ved, 5 min. gange er det lett å komme seg over til Bur Dubai for en veldig billig penge. Vi hadde et absolutt problemfritt opphold.

Det er mitt andre besøk på 3 måneder. Et utmerket byhotell med lett tilkomst til souker og transportmidler (buss-metro). Hotellet er noen år men i utmerket stand og har en meget hyggelig betjening.

The service was great and the hotel is in a good location. We were offered a late check out from the hotel (free of charge) as our flight was in the night. The reception area is nice and our room had a small balcony with a view of the nearby Creek.

The location is close to the airport as well as to the old city (walking distance). A nice outdoor pool area on the 1st level. Most rooms have a view on the Creek (except very lower floors). The various inhouse restaurants are not topnotch but of sufficient variety and quality. the hotel first of all does not have that great view of the creek as shown in pictures, i got a very small room whose main view was nothing but a plain wall. The main problem that i had was that i was misguided on how to make calls from dubai. I thought i were calling up a toll free number and as per the front desk those were free calls,only to discover […] at checkout i owed them close to $700 just in 2 days telephone bill. The hotel staff took 40 minutes to check me into my room for some reason. I wouldn't have minded except I was really hungry. I liked that there were a variety of restaurants and shops inside the hotel. Also, the gold and spice souks were within walking distance. The hotel is clean and comfortable despite the old-style furnishing, which didn't surprise me since this is the first 5-star hotel in Dubai (since 1975). Hotel was great. I resereved three separate rooms and requested king size beds but got one king, one full, and two doubles, due to the holiday season. Other than that, my companions and myself were very pleased.

This is the place to stay if you want to feel part of 'old' Dubai. I love this area best of all. Whilst obviously showing it's age (it was one of the first high rise hotels in Dubai built in the 70s), the Radisson Blu has all you need for a great stay. Our room was adequately furnished, view across the creek to the Burj Khalifa and the bathroom was […] small but adequate and clean. Free Wifi is a bonus in Dubai and the 'Jazz Bar' was the icing on the cake with a wonderful singer on the nights we were there. There was a good atmosphere in the hotel which was pretty full in late December 2011. Five star hotels are ridiculously expensive in Dubai and so the Radisson Blu felt like good value with lots of facilities if a rather dated building. Les mer

Stayed for a couple of nights on our way to Johannesburg. A great hotel at a great rate in a great location. Close to the metro line which gives easy access to most of the sights. The creekside location makes it easy to access the experience of a dhow ride over to the other side. The hotel has its own dinner cruise on the creek which, if you like that […] sort of thing, would be a fun experience. We found it a little boring since there isn't all that much to see at night. It was also very hot so sitting outside during the cruise wasn't all that pleasant. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again. Les mer

"Not THE BEST...but no complaints very Average"
This hotel says 5 stars but it is very average. The bellhops didn't help my husband with his luggage, however when my husband picked me up from the airport he said the hotels demeanor changed. The room was very average. I read that you must pay for a suite to get the 5 star part of this particular hotel. Otherwise we were happy, they didn't bother us […] so we didn't bother them. "Nothing to fault - an excellent hotel"
This is an extremely good hotel with outstanding service. It's classy without being pretentious or brash, like most other 5*s in Dubai! The Royal Club floor is excellent value because of the extra services offered to guests (free afternoon tea, evening drinks, transfers). The rooms are rather simpler than you might imagine for Dubai, but hugely comfortable […] and pleasant none-the-less. One slight quibble would be that the swimming pool was closed, but this wasn't indicated at the time of booking. I would have appreciated knowing this. The hotel staff upgraded us to a room with balcony facing the Creek upon knowing this is our first time to Dubai. The location of the hotel is very convenient to almost any type of public transportation.
If you want a beach holiday then you should stay at Jumeirah or on the Palm. If you are in Dubai for shopping in big Malls then hotels near the Burj Khalifa will satisfy your needs . For a more authentic middle eastern ,feel to your stopover it has to be a hotel such as The Radisson Blu on Dubai Creek . Not only is the Hotel a 5 to 8 minute walk from […] the Metro station which is handy for getting to the airport but it is situated across the road from the Creek offering good views from your bedroom balcony. The hotel has at least half a dozen restaurants to satisfy your needs and there are plenty of sunloungers round a good size outdoor pool . This hotel is within walking distance of the authentic area of Dubai. Its interesting just walking down the Creek and viewing the dhows being unloaded , then you can catch an abra [ water taxi ] over to the other side of the creek to visit the Old Souk . Back on the Radisson Blu side of the Creek you have the Gold Souk , the Spice Souk and the Fish , Meat and Vegetable Market so there is plenty to see within a 20 minute walk from the Hotel .Also the Big Bus City Tour route passes the Hotel so it is easy to walk down the road from the hotel to catch the tour . I stayed here in April 2011 on a business trip. Room was really nice and I had a great view over Dubai Creek. The hotel had a great selection of restaurants and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The pool was absolutely amazing! Would highly recommend staying there.

We stayed one night on our way to Cairo and our way home in May. Our stay was amazing. The hotel is probably about a 15 minute taxi ride from the airport. The taxi ride can be arranged through the hotel prior to arrival. The hotel is maybe 2 - 3 blocks from the subway. -- We had a room with balcony on the street side that overlooked the water. -- The […] hotel was perfectly nice with attentive staff. - What I absolutely loved was the lounge near the front desk. There was a band there with two men and three women from, I believe, the Phillippines. They were excellent; I think they are there all the time. The music was great and they came through the audience on breaks. - I'm not joking I want to move to Dubai just to hang out there.
