Flott hotell. Mange barn i hovedbassenget. De voksne i reisefølget brukte badebassenget forbeholdt de voksne. Minibaren fungerte ikke - og de satte inn en eldre skitten minibar midt på gulvet. Minibaren som ikke virket ble stående igjen på rommet. Frokosten var god, men dyr.

We had a great time, wish there was one more restaurant option but otherwise, it was perfect. Definitely spectacular for kids. The resort was very easy to manuever around, I loved the openess of the rooms and the golf course view was perfect for little ones, gave them a chance to be outside and play on the grass.

Wish the bathrooms were nicer and they gave more info about the spa. The pedicures were not worth the cost but overall nice hotel

We loved our 4 days at this hotel, it was beautiful and our 3.5 year old loved the pool and the restaurants. We will be back for sure!

Absolutely perfect place for a weekend getaway. The room was much more spacious than we were expecting which was nice. The view from our room overlooked the golf course and the surrounding mountains. Perfect for sipping coffee on the patio in the morning. The pool was great and the staff were super friendly too. We will most definitely be back!

The phone was dead and no one fixed it after multiple requests. The minibar refrigerator did not work or the safe. The screen to go out on the patio was jammed. I was ready to leave after the 1st night.

Because we live fairly close (San Diego), we visit the Palm Springs area two or three times per year. Rancho las Palmas is now our favorite place to stay! It is a beautiful resort, with lovely grounds, overlooks a golf course, has a fun pool area with a lazy river and water slides, and is located close to restaurants and shopping. We absolutely LOVED Rancho Las Palmas!!! Our room had a great view of the Golf Course and the flower beds and trees were in full bloom. I think that March is perhaps the best month of the year to visit the area. Everything was very green and there was still snow on the mountain tops. We had a fabulous meal at the Blue Ember Restaurant and the service […] was outstanding. We went to watch the semi-final matches at the BNP Paribas Tennis Tournament in Indian Wells. I'm quite happy that we stayed in Rancho Mirage instead of Indian Wells as it wasn't as crowded and we could walk directly across the street to the River Shopping Center to eat or shop. We highly recommend Rancho Las Palmas for the golf, the great spa, the fabulous "Splash-topia" swimmming pools or just to get away for a few days. Rooms are recently updated ours had a funky musty mildew smell. Service at pool/waterpark needs improvement. Only one server for entire pool. Took an hour to get a drink. This resort is well overpriced for what it is. They are attempting to be high end and fall well short. I would not stay there again unless the room rate was under $150.

We picked this resort because of the kid-friendly pool and the location. The staff was very nice and attentive. Our room was large and had plenty of space for everyone. The resort is quite large and spread out however, our room was only a short walk to pool. Many reviews had said that rooms were noisy. Not the case for us though. It was horrible that a 4pm check in was not honored. We had to wait another 45 minutes to check in. There was no offer to make this right!!! The worst thing was that I was not the only person who had this problem. There were many many people in the same boat. Very clean and due to the large amount of acreage, doesn't feel like you are at a huge resort. Pool was great - large enough and again, didn't feel overcrowded for what was probably a full house. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for shopping and restaurants. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

At check in, the attendant was almost brusque with our standard questions (and there was not a long line), and then I was disappointed to see that there was no usual binder of resort information in the hotel room. There was only a pamplet for the spa and one for the in-room dining. Then, because the hotel allows dogs, when our neighbors went out to […] dinner, their dog barked for 20 minutes non-stop. I have to compliment the front desk in this regard, though, because they sent security right out to check on the room. Bottom line: we could hear everything happening in the neighboring rooms, which, for a resort catering to kids and dogs, is a lot. We made the mistake of trying to come here for a romantic babymoon. STAY AWAY. You will be terribly disappointed. A Tourism Organization needs to visit and give it the proper rating and classification. We visited this hotel Feb 2013 (Valentine’s Day Weekend Getaway). The accommodations are quite old with very little renovations. *Shower pressure - VERY LOW. *Bath tub drain - DOES NOT DRAIN. *Bathroom Fixtures - Bring […] something to attempt repairs so they don’t fall on you. *Common walls - So thin you can hear the kids in the rooms next to you crying and yelling. *Ceiling - Ready to hear the upstairs guests’ foot traffic and other late night escapades? *Maid service - They pound on the door at 8am on a Sunday morning, demanding entry. *We asked for a different room, here is the answer we got: "We are at full capacity, sorry"... *The Blu Ember Food: Terrible When selecting appetizers, the tone is set immediately. For example: Ask the waitress what type of oysters they serve, she will say "raw and on the half shell"... The Filet is so dry and tastes like cardboard. The Rib eye is so bad the chef is forced to put a sauce on it. Ask the waitress about it: "I DONT KNOW, I asked them not to do that". With no offer to replace it. Service: Terrible The waitress (Kelly) stops by "Is everything ok?" You open your mouth to answer and she DISAPPEARS. Literally, she vanished. She only reappears when it’s time for the check and she will hunt you down until it’s signed. In conclusion; STAY AWAY. You will be terribly disappointed. Les mer

After paying for the reservation., I was suprised my friend who I booked this room for, was charged additional "resort fee" when they went to check out. They were told check in was at 4 but had to wait 2 hours after that. Checkout is at 12 but the pools do not open until 10. Not a very big window to play, if just staying one night. The hotel and property are beautiful. The pools are great, especially for families even with small children (my son is 4 and loved the lazy river). The restaurants are great and there is a mall right across the street so there are lots of choices for good food & shopping. My biggest complaint is noise in the room. As a travel agent, I continually seek out places that I can refer to clents. Well, this is one that I hope to send lots of them to. The entire experience from arrival to departure was wonderful. Of course, the warm sunny weather helped alot as well, but the atmosphere and ambience of this resort is something that we look forward to repeating many times […] over. From the girlsl at check-in, the concierge, the cleaning staff, the cafe barristas, the waiters and waitresses, the pool bar staff, and on and on. The room we were given was directly adjacent to the main housekeeping storage room. At 8:15 each morning there was loud noise, laughter and banging from the housekeeping crew which woke us up. In addition as we were placed on the first floor which subjected us to an unbelivable amount of noise from the room above. It sounded like there was a basketball […] game going on. We spoke to the the front desk and they had no idea about the housekeeping room and the noise associated with this room which I'm having a hard time thinking that no one ever complained. They said they would move us but after unpacking, the thought of re-packing, moving and unpacking for a couple more day stay wasn't an idea we found appealing. Instead they said they would talk to their housekeeping group and the group above us. Well I can honestly say no one was ever told. The noise never stopped until we actually went to the room above us and started banging on the their door. Everything at the hotel is ridiculously expensive, from a bottle of water ($7!) to the food. And you can't even buy your own food as the room fridge is full of over priced items already.

The perfect family vacation. Rancho las Palmas in the winter is spectacular - fully decorated for Christmas, always with the warm sun outside and the pools, lazy river and water slides heated to a nice, comfortable temperature. While we sat poolside ordering drinks and food, our 11 and 12 year old were having a blast in all the water activities. We […] had a small problem with the shower not draining, and someone was at our room within 10 mts and fixed it immediately. We walked across the street every night to a different restaurant where my husband and I could enjoy a cocktail without worrying about driving back to our hotel, we were minutes away from the Indian Canyons (GREAT HIKING), the LIVING DESERT, and of course fabulous golfing on site. This place was heavenly. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots to do for the kids in the pool area. Food was delicious, but expensive. Would have liked to have a fridge in my room that I didn't have to pay to use. Resort area was beautiful. Close to shopping but needed a car to do other activiities (balloon ride,outlet shopping) Spa service was excellent. […] Overall a very decadent place to stay. The only thing that bothered me about this hotel was the "resort fee" which was added at the end of the stay. If you stay at the resort and the resort fee is mandatory, then just charge it in the price of the room. For families the pool and the buffet are the main attraction. We repeatedly had issues with the key cards, to which staff was slow to respond. Also the check in/ check out process was long even once you got to the counter.

We had a very enjoyable stay. My kids' loved the Splashtopia area as my husband, mom and I did as well. Our room was spacious, Bluember was very tasty for breakfast and the staff were very friendly. One thing was that our room key did not work after 12pm. I had previously visited the desk and they offered a complimentary 1pm checkout. My husband went […] to the desk to get a new key but that key did not work either. I waited outside our hotel room with my 1 yr old, 4yr old and mom for about 15 minutes until we were let into the room. Overall great stay however the room was never cleaned for us and the double beds were very small and uncomfortable. Also crowded by the pool, no space between the lounge chairs. For a first timer at this hotel i think I will skip going there again.

We enjoyed having a cabana by the pool. It made it easy for all of us to enjoy the pool facilities and not worry about finding a space.

Our room location was poor. Located on the first floor with "golf course" view, all we saw was an large green screen surrounding some type of construction area. Not sure if this was because we used hotels.com instead of booking directly with the hotel.

We stayed before but we were in a new room. The room we stayed in was far away from all the emenities. The room needs to be upgraded. Why charge the same fees for a room that has not been upgraded?

Great resort for families. My only true disappointment was the size of the beds. On my vacation, I stayed at two resorts and the beds at Las Palmas were noticeably smaller (more like a full size vs the advertised and expected Queen size). So for those of you with families who share beds on vacation, be warned.

Very noisy - walls give no sound protection. Minor annoying problems in the room. Pool side service is not responsive. Spa is not very attractive. Very limited menu in the restaurant. That said, very nice areas to sit in the restaurant, firepits and decorations are very nice in the night.

It was very welcoming to us. We drove there with our son, and they left the next day while we stayed another day. They were terrific about getting us a cab for an evening out and next day to the airport. It was a relaxing spot!
