Anaheim Marriott Hotel - Anaheim

We stayed at the Marriott in Anaheim in order to go to Disneyland. The hotel staff were super, an excellent level of service in every area. The concierge desk were very helpful with maps, directions etc, the front desk were efficient and polite, and when we wanted to get some documents printed off our laptop this was no trouble at all. The room was […] large and comfortable and there was tea/coffee facilities and a decent sized fridge. The beds were also large and comfortable, and I would especially mention the soundproofing, we could hear nothing from rooms on either side, or outside the room. We didn't eat at the hotel but there is a Starbucks in the hotel which opens at 6am which was useful for coffees and snacks. The hotel also had a nice outdoor pool and jacuzzi which was a pleasant bonus. The hotel is directly serviced by the shuttle to and from Disney and is also on the same route as Garden Road/Avenue which has plenty of family friendly restaurants on it. If you are going to this area of Anaheim it's likely you are going to Disneyland so the surrounding area doesn't really matter, but one thing we felt was that it is badly serviced for decent, one off original restaurants - we don't all want to eat generic American food in generic American restaurant chains. However the first day we arrived we still had our rental car and drove to Orange for dinner which is a nice little town with several very decent restaurants. The concierge desk were more than happy to make recommendations and ring a couple of restaurants to book a table for us as it was a Saturday and likely to be busy for dining. All in all I'd have no hesitation recommending the Marriott in Anaheim. Les mer

The room was not as pictured, it was extremely small and outdated. The room service tray remained in our room for 2 days, even after the beds were turned. Bathroom was small and outdated. Lobby looked good and the pics from rooms must have been taken somewhere else, because our room DID NOT look like that! Location is close to disneyland. $8 cab ride […] each way. I am so glad that I read the reviews. It was getting so expensive with each time that we came out to Disneyland, but I read the reviews for here. A very large assortment of breakfast items for each day included and free parking saved so much money, but I still felt nervous about trying a new hotel that we hadn't stayed at before. We will always go here […] from now on. It is in a nice area and walking distance to Disneyland. The hotel was very clean, staff was extremely polite and friendly and the kids loved the swimming pool and hot tub. We will never go anywhere else from now on. Les mer

The Anaheim Mariott Hotel, in our opinion, is a "Five-Star" hotel with extremely reasonable rates. Better rates than many "Two-Star" hotels. The location of the Mariott was within walking distance of many of the Disney attractions and the Anaheim Convention Center, all of which we visited. Thanks Anaheim Mariott Hotel!!

This hotel was nice and clean with the exception of a used Kleenex next to the bed that was left there by the previous customers. One morning we decided to order breakfast through room service. Once the food arrived we were given a bill for the food, but what was also included was a room service fee and a delivery fee. We ordered a $17 breakfast and […] after all the fees and tip it ended up being a $28 breakfast. We were also concerned that our cell phone was getting service in the area, so we called it from the room phone. Upon check-out we were given a bill for $7.00. The phone call was no more than 30 seconds. Nowhere on the phone does it state that it costs money to use it. A long distance phone call has cost that much in 20 years. We were given a refund on that, though. All in all it was a good hotel... just watch out for hidden fees. Les mer

Overall the hotel is clean, and modern. But, for the cost of the room you shouldn't be getting nickle and dimed. First off, it's a hotel that caters to business, yet to get wifi it costs $15 a day! Yes, that's right, per day. Being a support tech on call, I need to have access to the net at all times so this bumped up the daily cost of the room. Then […] to add to it, they make you pay $24 per day for parking in the hotel, even if you are staying there. So expect to add $35 per day to whatever 'deal' you may get. Also, if you plan on taking the hotel shuttle to Disneyland, expect to pay $5 a day for that as well. On a strange note, for some reason they don't have hair dryers in the rooms. Not sure why I had a fridge but no hair dryer. The staff are nice enough, but I can't ever see myself staying there again. For the cost you pay, I expect much better treatment from a hotel. Les mer

We stayed here the night before the Disneyland 1/2 Marathon. Everything was great. There were only two things I would have changed. First, the parking is outrageously expensive ($24/day) and there are no other options anywhere nearby. Second, the fridge in our room was so wobbly that when my husband opened the door in the morning the conents of the […] fridge came spilling out all over the floor and made a huge mess. Otherwise, the staff and location were absolutely perfect. We returned from the finish line later than expected (almost noon) and when the nice people at the front desk saw that we had just returned from the race they graciously gave us until 1:30 to check out. I always got a busy signal when I pressed the front desk and wake up call buttons. I had to go down to the lobby and request a 6am wake-up call, which I received the next morning at 6:20am. Every time I tried contacting them I always got a busy signal on my first attempt, no matter the time of day. Their service is horrible, even for soemthing as simple […] as a wake up call. i also don't appreciate having to pay $12.95 for internet, that was standard practice maybe 10 years ago. Guest service was great, but restaurant service was really lacking. Room was clean and very comfortable, but the walls on the balcony were very dirty. Great location to the expo I was attending at the Convention Center and I was even given a room in the closest tower to the event, so VERY convenient. Walking distance to Disneyland, but the shuttle […] stops right in front of the main entrance and is a nominal fee for all-day access. I usually stay at the competition property across the street, but this has now become my first choice for staying in this area. Les mer

We stayed here since it was cheap and close to the convention center BUT we got what we paid for. The rooms do not have central AC, just window units that made the room loud and humid. The bed comforters were old and crusty and rough to the touch, the pillows were lumpy. Its an older hotel and needs some work. BEST PART was parking was included!!!! […] !! Les mer

My family and I enjoy our stay at the Marriott . The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were excellent. The only thing I did not like was the price to park our car. $24.00 per night no bell no!

Great hotel at a great price.

Overall this is a great full service hotel. If you are going to Disneyland, it is about a 20 minute walk. The hotel does have a shuttle but it is $8 (most are free at other hotels). Parking was convenient but expensive ($24 for 24 hours). The room was very clean, modern, and spacious with a nice balcony. Only downside was the air conditioners were located […] outside my room so everytime they turned on it sounded like an airplane taking off. It didn't really bother me too much. Les mer

This is a nice hotel and I liked everything except for the parking fee. They charge you $24 per night for self-parking. Hilton across the street charges $15 per night for self-parking and I used to think that was expensive until I stayed at this Marriott. I'm giving a 3 rating for that reason alone - you shouldn't have to pay an extra $50 for a 2-night […] stay just for parking. Otherwise the conditions and location is very good. Only other thing to note is that even if you request a room with a view of Disneyland, you can only get a partial view because the Hilton across the street partially blocks the view. However the condition of the room including cleanliness, furnitures, bed comfort, etc - were all excellent. Again, only problem to me was the ridiculous parking fee. Les mer

We are always pleased with the consistent quality of the Marriott chain and this location surpassed our expectations. A lovely hotel with many amenities. The casual dining room was beyond the usual casual dining of a chain hotel. Very good food, service and ambience with extensive wine list (it is in fact a wine bar). Our room was very nice, a different […] configuration and a bit smaller than the typical hotel room setup but just fine for 2 of us. The hotel fitness center was the size and quality like none I've ever seen at a hotel. Lots of machines (treadmills and bikes) and weight stations and plenty of space. Les mer

Loved the location, close to Disney Parks. Hotel staff very friendly. Only thing we did not like: rooms are small for families of four or more.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Only negatives I can think of was no shuttle from airport. I got back from disneyland well after midnight and was able to get room service so that was great. My son has food allergies and staff in Cafe de sol made exceptions so he could have options for dinner i was very impressed. parking was 24 dollars a day. and long walk from parking to room. room was small. bed was soft.

Access to Angels stadium and shopping was great. We enjoyed our stay and will come back in the near future!

From the time you arrive up until the time that you leave the service is 5 stars. Very accommodating staff, close to theme park, restaurants and shops.

we had a total party of 4. We checked in and had a blast. Everything was so close, we drove instead of taking the shuttle because I asked the front desk for a parking pass. Anaheim Garden Walk was the highlight of the trip. As for the rooms, very spacious and had everything we needed: ironing board and hair dryer for the ladies. My only complaint will […] be those pillows. Someone posted how hard the pillows were and they didnt lie. They are one tough pillow to break in. My recommendation is bring your own pillow because I ended up sleeping out it. Les mer

Had a great stay at this hotel. Clean, comfortable rooms. Comfortable linens and pillows. Very walkable to Disneyland, or very quick taxi ride. Close to lots of restaurants. Hotel check-in staff very friendly.

The only good experiance I had was the valet and the front desk people when I checked in. When I was getting situated in my room I got a knock at the door and the cleaning lady asked when I was checking out. Huh?? It made me wonder if my room was even cleaned for her to ask me that. Later that night when I used the toilet, someone before my stay flushed […] soap down the toilet which caused my toilet to clog. Les mer

The hotel it's self was nice, and great distance to Disneyland, but the room was small and the beds were not comfortable and they don't offer queen, they only have 2 full size beds or 1 king to chose from. Other than that, the food was good and the personel was nice.

Hotel needs to be updated. Older fixtures. Food was just "OK" in bar and in Cafe del Sol, nothing special. Suppose they get a lot of business being close to the Convention Center.

Great service! Everyone was extremely nice, and helpful! I would def stay here again. The room was very nice and modern. The only thing I did not like is they do not have double queen beds, only two full or one king. We had to get a roll away for a flat rate for cheap for the entire stay. Just spent Easter weekend there. Very nice and comfortable hotel - great rate. Room great as were their amenities - pool, gym etc. Shuttle to disney is $4 for adults and $1 for kids - valid all day. Food was high quality - breakfast buffet superb. Watch for 'Kids Eat Free' offer - that was icing on the cake. Totally recommend it. Walk to Disneyland […] is 15 mins. Just love it, me and my family (wife and 2 kids 5,7) The only complaint, if I can call it like that, was the charge for the parking. and because i didn't pay for the Valet service nobody told me that the parking lot was that far away from my room.

We have stayed in most of the surrounding hotels at Disneyland. The Marriott is one of the more upscale, but a great price through hotels.com. ONLY drawback was no free continental breakfast. The cheaper hotels offered it, but the costlier hotels don't - go figure! Room service was great. After a long day at Disneyland, we came back to our room and […] order a few kids meals to satisfy our late night munchies. It was my twins' 16th birthday and the hotel had a card waiting for them, and a dessert was sent up. It was great! We would stay here again. My only complaint, if you want to call it that, is that there was a huge wet spot by the fridge and the fridge smelled like peppers, so we couldn't store any water in there or it picked up the smell. Nice rooms, quick response to requests, great location. Only downside was that housekeeping forgot to clean our rooms for 2 days! The first day we returned to our rooms too late in the evening to have it cleaned then, so we just asked for clean towels the next morning. The second day, we also returned to our room after 9 pm, but demanded to still have […] it cleaned. They sent someone up to clean it immediately, but she made it clear that she was not happy to do it. The management was very apologetic, and even credited our account $50 for the inconvenience. This hotel is lovely, service is great, food superior. Too bad they did not put a halt to kid loud activities in the courtyard below our room. They were soo loud we could not hear our TV and they continued well after mid night. So, we got a very poor night's sleep. Good thing I was there for pleasure and not business. My husband & I have stayed at this hotel 2 times now and will definately stay again. Bed's are EXTREMELY comfortable, room's are clean and Starbuck's in the main lobby. We will be back!!!

Visit to Disneyland was excellent with service provided by the hotel. Close proximity to Disneyland but far enough from the hustle and bustle. many amenities.
