Trengte èn natt i forbindelse med å skulle reise på cruise. Hotellet ligger like ved både flyplassen og cruisehavnen, slik at det kun er snakk om en liten drosjetur til 10-15 dollar, samt at hotellet har shuttle til havnen som ligger på ca 5 dollar pr snute, kjørt til riktig skip. Det at hotellet ligger rett ved flyplassen merker man ikke stort til hva gjelder støy. Det eneste som er å utsette er lokasjonen i forhold til f.eks spisesteder og butikker, som gjør at man er avhenging av å kjøre/bli kjørt til butikk eller restaurant, da det er et greit stykke til forts. Men dette koster ikke akkurat mange dollarene.. Dette var mitt andre opphold på dette hotellet, og kommer trolig til å bo her også neste gang jeg er i byen i samme ærend :)

Helt ok hotell i forhold til pris. Rommet noe gammeldags og hadde ikke kjøleskap. Ellers var det rent og pent med 2 gode dobbeltsenger. Fin lobby med en liten bar som ble omgjort til en enkel frokostservering. Betalte ca 25 dollar ekstra per døgn i tillegg for å få hotellet til å parkere/hente bilen i eget garasjeanlegg så ofte vi hadde behov. Parkeringen kunne gjøres billigere ved å hente/bringe på egenhånd.

Bra hotell med tenke på kvalitet, men kjedelig at de skal ha 25 dollar i tillegg for parkering og 10 dollar for WiFi på rommet.

Godt fornøyd med oppholdet. Svært vennlig og serviceinnstilt personale. Romantisk og stemningsfullt uteområde/bar om kveldene. Rent og pent og minimalistisk stil på rommene. Kan anbefales.

It was wonderful. The room was very clean. The hotel employees were courteous and most helpful with directions to the airport. The breakfast was fantastic. Loved the big screen TV and all room amenities.
"ideal stopping place after flight"
quite easy to get to from the airport and plenty of parking on site. we stayed only one night but it put us on the right side of town for our trip across to the gulf coast the next morning. an early breakfat at the dennys next door also helped. the room was fine, if a little dated but for what we paid it was perfectly suitable. check in staff were friendly […] and we would have no problems staying here again Les mer
"Good value"
I've read some of the negative comments, and must say I don't know what they were expecting. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was commercial, not residential, with a small strip mall/shopping center nearby, a McDonalds right next door, and other acceptable restaurants close as well. No fears about walking around at night, […] well lighted and lots of people around. The one hick up was that they forgot to schedule our transfer to the Port, but they more than made up for that by calling for and paying for a cab. Breakfast inclusive, better than most similar places at which we've stayed. A definite recommendation for an overnight stay. Les mer

The hotel was clean but the continental breakfast was vague.The rooms were too small and the pool had no lifeguard.The receptionists were pleasant and welcoming.

"Cheap base to explore Miami and Florida Keys"
The staff were friendly and there was wifi (very slow) and free breakfast (a free-for-all event with other guests which we didn't partake). We stayed two nights and on the first evening we arrived about 10:30pm straight from the airport. The area looked less friendly in the dark, especially when we saw a group of people loitering around two cars in […] the parking lot. The second evening when we returned to the room, our electronic key didn't work which got me worried, but apparently it was a common occurrence which the staff quickly sorted out for us. The only thing that was good, was the polite desk clerk, Dan, who was the ONLY available contaoct person from 6pm to 6am. We waited for the advertised airport shuttle was one hour.... and we finally had to take a cab. The lobby was shabby and crowded with what appeared to be loiterers. The room, reserved well in advance, was a handicapped room, so no […] tub, the shower was the floor of the bathroom, towels were limp and thin. No available breakfast anything except coffee. There was a party of spanish speaking persons, including children, directly in front of the door to our room from apparoximately 10pm to 2am. No answer to the front desk, despite 10minutes of holding for an answer, to find out if there was any security to enforce quiet outside in the parking area. NEVER AGAIN Les mer
"Good and bad"
In all fairness, the hotel was swamped with cruise travelers. We were two of them. They did provide airport pickup on arrival but we waited an hour and a half for it because only one van was trying to bring 40-50 guests to the hotel around the same time. This was unacceptable. I imagine a taxi would not have cost much as the hotel wasn't far from the […] airport. The room was fine. The shopping center next door had a great Argentinian restaurant but for the less adventurous McDonald's and Denny's is right there. The staff were swamped but they did have a system of booking people onto a port transport bus or van for the following day at only $10 each. This was pretty good cost but service was again pretty slow. Id try to find a better or equal deal elsewhere but would stay again if I couldn't. Les mer

the room smelt of bug spray and i wondered if we would wake up with bed bugs in our luggage and bitten to pieces. the breakfast was totally pathetic. all the food is so processed i wonder why they even bother. i don't even buy white bread and the pasty bagels were so sad. i couldn't bring myself to eat such a heart stopping meal. it was truly pathetic, generally […] speaking i think that this should be a 0 rating. we got to the room so late and was up since 3 am any bed would have been a welcome site. From the shuttle trip to the hotel to the shuttle back to the airport, it was a great stay! The staff are very friendly and helpful! I requested some hot chocolate mix and received it with a smile. The shuttle to the airport was right on time. Check-out was quick and easy. The pool area is nice. The bed was very comfortable.

We first wanted to stay at the Miami Springs Inn, but as soon as we saw the hotel and the room, we went to this one. It's more expensive, but it's definitely worth it. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is nice, although the breakfast room gets a little crowded. There're some fastfood restaurants in walking distance, and it's 15 minutes […] from the airport. Really nice stay in Miami. Les mer

It was not a suitable stay for my friends and I. They lied to use about the distance to South Beach which is 30 to 35 miles away. They also had a issue with their carpet being dirty and wet the whole stay,"they told us to keep the air on so we would smell the mildew smell". Instead of switching rooms or letting us know this before we enter our room. […] We also had to switch rooms again because that had an ant issue! So our whole trip we spend switching rooms. Where do I begin? I was expecting this hotel to just be another flea bag place because of the lower price and the location. However, the only thing negative I can say is it is just up the street from a Fire Rescue Station, so the sirens are constant. With that said, the positives are tremendous. The room was very clean and odor free. The bed was incredible, […] and probably the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. The flat screen TV was incredible, and the opening screen is a "moods" sceen of ocean water and moonlight with waves audio. GREAT to fall asleep to, and completely takes care of any siren noise. The bathroom and shower were also clean. The staff are excellent! Just ask them anything you need in the area and they will direct you. They also will give you coupons for any particular restaurants you may be interested in. Friendly and smiling at all times. Altogether, I would stay at this place ANYTIME. My wife did not even have a complaint, and that NEVER happens. Les mer

our stay at `la quinta` was extremely satisfying. it is the second time we have stayed there, and we would definitely stay there again on our next visit to your great city. we cannot say enough about your hotel, and would certainly recommend it to friends & relations. we will be looking for la quinta`s in other cities

Our room was good but, in general, the hotel's appearance and sorroundings are very innatractive. Breakfast was poor compared to hotels in the same category.

"It was great, but..."
I wish they would have had coffee out after the breakfast was done. When I questioned, they said that the breakfast ended earlier on Saturday. Other than that it was a great hotel. Shuttle was $10.00 a person to the cruse port, very reasonable, as it was a long way to get there.

Convenient location to the airport, restaraunts near by. The hotel itself was a little dirty on the outside, rooms were clean, but not well maintained. (i.e. The textured ceiling was peeling, the hair-dryer would pop the GFI when used, had to hold down handle to flush the toilet).
"A litte tired, but quiet and close to airport"
This looks to be one of the first La Quintas built and looks a bit worn at the edges, but the room was comfortable and quiet despite its proximity to the airport. For people taking an early flight out of Miami and wanting to stay reasonably (in this area) the night before, this property is a good bet.

Rate was good. Room was clean. BUT the entrance door to the lobby was filthy, dirty, paint peeling - a bad first impression. The cement floor outside my door was filthy - made my bare feet BLACK. And all the interior doors, to get to hallways and lobby were absolutely filthy. would not go back.

Room & bath were clean but looking a little worn and stained. Carpet had just been clean and was still damp, so feet were slippery in bath. Ice machine on ground floor out of service. Personnel could not have been nicer! My husband had injured his knee the night before our arrival, and everyone helped us! To help us leave, the shuttle driver came around […] to our room and loaded us and our luggage before collecting the other guests. Great attitude, tired facility. Les mer
