Orlando Courtyard Suites - Kissimmee

Room was very nice. Everything in the wrightup of this hotel was closed except the pool. So much constructiuon I could not get to pool, someone found it but I gave up. Living area furnature uncomfortable and TV in this area was a 1980's model. Bed was like sleeping on cardboard boxes.

The location was great and the rooms were very clean and roomy, but coming in at night like I did with the place under construction, it sort of made me feel I had booked the wrong area. We really enjoyed the layout of the room. We did have an Air conditioner problem but that was fixed quickly. I did not realize they had a night maint guy or I would […] have called that night. We did not have any hotel service really as we were only there for 2 days and they only provide service every 7 days. I did not know this when I booked but it worked out fine. I cannot wait to see the finished product once the remodeling is finished. All personnel at the place were extremely helpful and nice. Les mer

The property is clearly "in progress". The room was newly rennovated and very well appointed (living room, full kitchen, jetted tub, washer/dryer), but only the front portion of the hotel was open. The only staff we saw was the front desk person who was very kind and courteous. This is a very quiet property with no on-site amenities (with the exception […] of an outdoor pool--open dawn to dusk) There is also no security, at least that we could see. Great and comfortable room

The hotel appeared a little run down from the outside but the room was great! King bed with kitchen and bathroom and full living room. It was very comfortable and very close to Disney.

The best parts about the room were the kitchen and bath. Both excellent. The mattress was too hard - like sleeping on the floor. The couch was not comfortable for watching the TV. And I was not happy with the blinds in the bedroom. Not private enough. Also, it didn't have a hair dryer in the room. But convience to Disney was great. I would think twice […] before returning. This place is a little different, they look to be rehabing an old hotel and turning it into apartments, but part of the place is setup as a hotel. Their office closes at 11 so make sure to check in before that. We got there a little late but they showed up and gave us a key. It is very very close to disney, the first street off 192 to the west, right […] out of the park. Granite counter tops, and fully furnished. Frankly we where just looking for a quick cheep stay and where very suprised. Our room had a real kitchen, stove fridge, dishwasher, etc.. We also had a washer and dryer and some decent decore. The owners appear to be trying to resurrect a hotel that has gone to seed. The front building and back half of the second building are dilapidated at best. The vertical blinds in the suite are worn out and do not provide any privacy to the occupant. I went to the store and purchased a sheet with curtain hangars to cover the sliding door in the bedroom […] for privacy. I would have moved to a different hotel if I had not prepaid the room, so be WARNED. Do not prepay for this hotel. Surprisingly, the air conditioner, refrigerator and microwave worked fine. Les mer

If you vacation in your room. This is the hotel for you. If you want to come and go, that will be a problem. The stairs are shady at best, being next to an abandoned hotel. There was a riped bag of trash in the stairwell that was apparently some animal's dinner. The parking lot looks drug deals could happen there. Couple other items: no wake up calls, […] door key is an actual key.... Wow circa 1970s. The office closes at 11, wanted a 100 cc hold, which I disagreed with and they caved. The room. Beautifully decorated and cozy. The bed and pillows were not comfy, but not terrible, somewhere in between but leaning towards terrible. The sliding door blinds were broken and was missing some slats. I stayed here because of the close proximity to espy wide world of sports... Where my daughter was playing.... I should have traveled the extra couple minutes for a better hotel... Thank goodness my daughter wasn't staying with me... Even at 14 she said it was shady and that maybe I should bunk with her team on Disney property. Just my thought. Hey, I was in Florida where the sun was shining and got to see my daughter play. I ended up leaving because of several reasons. Ended up driving over 40 miles before I could find another available room.

Hotel is old and slightly run down, Microwave and fridge did not work, Would not recommend.

We were mistakenly drawn to the "Courtyard" name and three star rating but as we pulled into the check in area, our GPS started chirping "at your first opportunity, take a U-turn..." We should have. Don't make the same mistake.

I reserved this room for my family so we can celeberate mine and my daughter birthday at Disney. When I arrived at this hotel I thought I may have entered the address wrong in my GPS, because the hotel looked abandoned the front rooms at this hotel are all being gutted out so the scenory looked terrible. I parked my car in front of the hotel office […] to check-in and advised the clerk that I thought I was at the wrong hotel and his reply was that this is something everyone says when they come in(WOW). Even though the outside was 2 thumbs down I wanted to see what the inside looked like I took my room key and drove to my room. When we arrived to the room it was very clean but it was an older room and had a weird smell to it. I went to Walgreens and got air fresher to freshen up the room. In the bedroom there was a 19 inch TV I would not have any complaints about this TV if it played properly but in the middle of watching any channel it would make a weird nose then the picture would have lines going through the screen. I reported this problem to the front desk at 7pm and was told that maintenance was gone for today and unable to see about the TV until the morning. The next morning I requested more towels and was told we would have some shortly and I also reconfirmed that the TV would be fixed I was told that the maintenance man would be in the room soon. Well since this was our day to spend at Disney I was not in the room all day so when I arrived back to the room I found the same TV with the same problems and no towels left in the room so I marched to the front desk to find out what the problem was. The cleark at the front desk handed me a few towels and was told she would send maintenance to my room right away to check out the problem again but her records show that maintenance did come in to fix earlier. I arrived back in my room and 10 mins later maintenance came in with a new cable cord(???). He changed out old cord for new one I asked was that the problem??? He sai Les mer

No daily service, No amenities. A beautiful suite fully equipped and very clean inside. Very close to Disney but without amenities.

It is a nice hotel if you will only sleep the at night time. The AIrconditioning goes only to 75 degrees F. The bed is not really a Tempur pedic mattress just a regular mattress. A plus is that the bedroom is separate although there is no black out curtain. Another good thing is the full kitchen. There is a construction near the hotel That it is dark […] during the night. We found the rooms to be comfortable, we had to change rooms because the beds in the room we were assigned you could feel the intersprings in the bed and that was very unsatisfactory. Overall not bad for the area and the price.

This was a great hotel for us! Loved the full kitchen, living room, and 2 TVs. For 4 of us there were only 2 bath towels so we asked for more and received them immediately. Pull out couch mattress was lumpy but the 2 queen size beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a little small (hardly any counter space), but the kitchen was beautiful and functional […] and there was a big granite counter desk in the living room, right next to the door going out, which was perfect for storing extra belongings. Bring the following: laundry soap (you have to wash your own towels daily), dishwasher soap, regular liqued dish soap, paper plates, cups, plastic silverware (there is only service for 4), pool towels). Location was excellent-- literally 3 minutes from the entrance to Disney World! Les mer

It's good choice for what you pay it's not 3 star but 2 star hotel but still good choice in this price we have recommend this hotel

Nice hotel. They are renonvating the front half of the hotel, while the back half is already renonvated. It's in a touristy area just south of Disney, I don't think it is possible to be any closer to Disney without being onsite. I stayed ina roomy King bed suite. The Bed was comfortable, if a little firm. Kitchen was nice with a good size fridge and […] all the appliances. The tv in the living room was a decent 32" flat screen, but the tv in the bedroom was lacking, small tube tv from the 90's, hopefully they are upgrading those soon. The biggest downside to the room was the couch, which was awful. No comfortable way to sit on it. I was originally checked in to a room that hadn't been cleaned thanks to a mixup between housekeeping and the office. The staff was very apologetic and quickly switched me to a room down the hall. Just be aware the hotel doesn't clean the room daily, only every third day and linens weekly (or in between every stay obviously). I don't care for others being in my room so it worked out for me, just something to be aware of. Les mer

Although the room was clean, the surrounding area and the outside of the hotel was scary. We arrived after 11 after a day at Disney only to find that there was no office/person to check us into the hotel. We had to call a number on the door and it took approx. 45 minutes for someone to verify our reservation and get us a key...in the meantime we were […] sitting in our car in a dark and scary location by an abandoned hotel late at night. Due to some type of electrical problem the lights in the bedroom came on and off all night...adding to the creepiness of our experience. Les mer

i was not to happy with this place the bed are very uncomfortable the curtains are see thru we had to put something over the window but the room was clean but i would not stay here again

When I booked, I thought, it was Courtyard Mariott. It was very misleading. Name is Courtyard, but it isnot. The receipt I got says days Inn.

This property was very clean,cozy, and confortable. I would recommend this hotel to all my business executives, wheather it be business or with the family. Thumbs up for this property!

room was very clean, overall it is like a little nice condominium. very apealing the only bad thing was the bed matress can feel the springs and very unpleasent to sleep. tv was rainy and very poor quality picture

When you drive up to this hotel, you might think twice about staying there. Just wait until you get to your room though. Modern, stylish fixtures throughout and top shelf bedding make this a very stylish and comfortable room. Would definitely stay there again.

I had read many of the reviews on here, so I wasn't surprised by the abandoned apartment complex you pass as you are approaching the hotel, or the $100 deposit they require. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. The room was absolutely beautiful and looked exactly like the pictures. Everything was clean and in good order. My son absolutely […] loved the Jacuzzi tub and used it every day. We did not use the pool as it was too cold during our stay. My only complaint is no wi-fi. Very comfortable, definately a home away from home. We stayed at a different hotel before checking into this one and if we would of booked this one first we would have spent our whole vacation there. Take advantage of this wonderful little suite hotel before the pricing goes up! Brand New Suites. perfect for longer stay as long as you only need a place to sleep and cook...we were too busy going to parks to worry about hotel amenities. Booked for another trip in a couple months...

a nice stay the room was just like being at home. very comforable. i would go back again. there is only one thing that i didnt care for was that thdont have anyey smoking rooms which made it uncomforable for me.besides that it was a great stay.

We were celebrating our 6months anniversary combined with Valentines day. We decided to go somewhere local for a couple of days and our suite was AWESOME! I really enjoyed the spa bathtub and our sleep was very comforting. The hotel is somewhat deceiving. The hotel is located behind an abandoned hotel and when your arrive at night it appears scary. The hotel is really has more of a motel/apartment feel. Upon check-in the manager tried to run my card for $100 for incidentals...I declined this and they took an imprint of my card instead. The whole interaction just seemed […] to be wierd and like something that was not normal policy. The hotel is very scary on the outside but turned out to be nicer on the inside. The newly updated fixures and countertops made up for the outside appearence. It was nice to have plates and cups available. I was very apprehensive about staying but figured it was worth the cost. It was half of what the other hotels in orlando were charging and away from all of the action. I am glad I stayed but I will probably not return. Les mer

THIS IS MY SECOND STAY IN 2 MONTHS. JUST PERFECT COULDN'T ASK FOR ANYTHING ELSE BETTER.

We do NOT recommend this hotel to anyone! The suite appeared nice when we first entered. However, in the bathroom, there was hair on the floor. There were knobs missing from the furniture. Bed was very hard. The worst part of this hotel was the staff! If I could give a rating of - 5 for service, I would! The "manager" was rude and completely disrespectful […] of us as customers. When my husband asked for ice (because there was none in the icemaker in our room), the "manager" used his hands to get us ice from the office ice machine. My husband told him that we did not want the ice put in our bucket with his hands. The clerk ordered my husband to "give him the bucket and he would do it a different way." My husband threw the ice out in a bush and the clerk started yelling at my husband for throwing out the ice, stating "Don't throw that ice out! I could have used that for something else!" When we asked to speak to his boss, we were told that the owner is his boss and he would not be available until the following morning. When we went to the office to check out (less than an hour after we arrived), the clerk refused to talk to me with my husband in the office. He told me that my husband had to leave if I wanted to check out (my husband was the one who checked us in). This whole situation was completely ridiculous. This was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. Not only was the service terrible, the hotel is at the end of a dark street. You have to pass a hotel that has been gutted and truly looks like a war zone. You also have to provide a $100 "incidentals" payment that is immediately charged to your credit card. I recommend that you find ANY other hotel. With the help of Hotels.com, we were able to find another hotel close to the Orlando Courtyard Suites. Don't be fooled by "Courtyard" in the name...this definitely is NOT Marriott! Les mer

Very Nice and Clean!

The pics are exactly as shown. Suite was very clean, personnel was extremely helpful and area was patrolled by guard in police vehicle. The surrounding area (hotel abandoned next door or being renovated) was the only other facility on block, however, on back end, we faced a complex which was completely occupied. We felt safe (two women) and will go […] back again this spring or summer. The price was good for all that you received accommodation wise. If the hotel next door is ever completed, this place will soar in price, but as it is now, I do not think they can ask for more because of its' location, next to the unoccupied facility. Les mer

From the outside, this place doesn't look like much, especially given the construction in the area. Inside is a different story. Very spacious and comfortable rooms. Don't be disheartened when you drive up.

Not really ready for guests. Manager had to fix a couple things as we were moving in. Boxspring had a wood top so bed seemed very hard . Husband found a stranger's dirty sock under the coffee table.

The pictures look nice and if you could teleport directly into the room it would probably be good but.....I read other reviews and thought I could overlook the cosmetics of the outside appearance but I became really depressed when I got there. The staff was strange, the first key (real key - not a card) they gave me opened into a room that had never […] been cleaned and was next door to some folks playing Metalica VERY loud. The second room got us away from Metalica and it was pleasant but not that well cleaned. The bed was a standard bed, borderline taco-like when we were in it. I was nervous all night abough the car getting broken into. The neighborhood seemed old and rough. I would take my chances elsewhere, I've stayed in much better for the price. Les mer

Hi It includes a fully equipped kitchen and all equipments are fully functional and new in condition. I stayed 5 days in the hotel and it was really very comfortable stay there. They are expanding their hotel and making changes to exterior but when you enter to your room, it is really royal.

The hotel was verrrrry nice. I give 5 stars it was excellent.

Decent location but the no current progress upgrades of the surrounding bldgs.and no street lights are a would-be deterrent upon 1st look for future guests. The up-front extra $100 "incidentals" deposit, @ the front desk before you get your room "key",is upsetting. While waiting for your key, you have the chance to read about the hotel not providing […] daily linen service and advising you to take advantage of the in-unit washer & dryer for that instead. F.Y.I., there was no laundry soap provided for that by the hotel. Once inside, the rooms are set up quite nicely, actually making a nice studio apartment if there were enough room for a dining table. Although never confirmed with a sighting, the love seat/sleeper may have had bugs of some sort due to my wife developing a visible rash after sitting on it for a few moments. As we neared the end of our 4 day stay, we used up the 1 roll of toilet paper that had been provided. When I went to office to get another roll, I was told that they "Don't provide consumables, and you'll just have to go and buy some if you need more." I found that odd because they provided me with the 1st roll of toilet paper, a small bath soap bar, and a small, albeit expired for over a year, tube of toothpaste. The room "key" is actually just that, a key that i had to put on my car keychain so I wouldn't lose it. Upon check-out, the office was supposed to open @ 8am, but @ 8:45am there was still no staff on duty. Overall, due to the difficulties we experienced from the broken down surroundings, the unexpected fee, the rash my wife got, the linen situation, the key, the toilet paper, and finally the no attendee upon check-out, I'll have to say the experience was upsetting & misleading and I'll disregard thoughts of staying there again and also vehemently deter anyone I may find that expresses an interest in lodging there from doing so.
