The hotel was going through some updates but had a nice pool and the front desk people were very nice and helpful.

Motel was convenient to Bowling Green High School. However that was the only good thing. Very Disappointed. Very old and was not up to date. Had no elevators and I have severe knee and hip problems. Was told I could not get a first floor room. The halls and rooms ranked of cigarette smoke. They came and sprayed our room twice but it did not seem to […] help. The cigarette smell was in the curtain, carpet and bed linens. Room was very dark and dungeon looking. If I could have gotten by money back I would have found somewhere else to stay. We talked with a couple that was staying another motel and was paying about $10..00 less a night than we were and they were very pleased with their room. Worst stay at hotel ever , we had non smoking room reserved but when we got there they said it somehow got booked and they only had smoking , it was memorial weekend so we had no choice but to keep it , the smell was horrifying , will never go back period

The main reason we stayed there was for the pool. It was closed and didn't open till the day we left. The staff was nice. Lots of construction and every where smelled like smoke, even our non smoking room. Hard to breath at night with all of the dust.

The room was really musty, like nobody had stayed there in a while. In addition, it was awfully humid. The beds were hard as laying on lumber, and there were too many pillows, none of which felt like home. The TV was archaic, having no programming guide and far too many useless channels. At the time of our stay I didn't know they allowed pets, if I did I would of stayed somewhere else, but is was a very enjoyable stay pets and all.

I have been to Bowling Green a couple of time since my daughter is going to school at WKU. I have stayed at another hotel and now will make this one my stay. Keep my room for me.

the stay worked for a place to lay down for the night. the room was dirty and we found a razor cover and a pill in the floor. glad that i found it before the kids did. the staff was very nice but house keeping needs to pick it up.

Although it was overall very clean, there was a faint cigarette smell throughout the hotel, which was not-so-successfully covered by a strong air freshener scent. That was the only drawback. Otherwise, the room was very clean and the smell wasn't as noticeable. Very convenient off and on I-65. Good service and everything else was as it should be.

Easy access off the interstate and most of the major food chains are in the vicinity, including coffee. Continental breakfast was quite good and fairly extensive.

Stayed here as a halfway point from New Orleans and Buffalo. Was not here very long, but everything was clean and comfortable. Easy-to-find location right off the highway. Safe surrounding area. Large, well-stocked room. Very good continental breakfast with my favorite: biscuits and gravy. Staff was very friendly but was confused when asked about time […] zones (the border of Central and Eastern time zone is nearby, halfway down KY, and our room clock was set an hour ahead by mistake). This hotel could use some cosmetic exterior updating (especially the non-lobby doors going in), but there is no reason why I wouldn't consider staying here again on a similar trip. Les mer

Everything was fine except that when I made my reservation a week earlier I requested a first floor room. When we arrived I was not given one because they said there weren't any available. I was surprised to learn there were no elevators in the hotel. My husband has problems with the stairs and it would have been much more comfortable on the first floor. […] We dealt with it but I would check the next time to see if there were elevators and would have gone some other place. Really enjoyed this hotel. Stayed here about four years ago and vowed that I would never stay here again. They've done a lot of upgrade and I love the fact that is non-smoking. The bar and lounge area was awesome and so was the food. I'm glad I gave this Ramada a second chance. A very nice hotel for such alow price considerign what other hotels in town […] were charging. The motel was clean but shows signs of wear and tear. The staff was pleasing to interact with and very accomodating. For the money it was acceptable and would be great if you needed a place to sleep on the way to another destination but I would not find much enjoyment if my stay was more than one night

The staff was extremely courteous, and helped us with our room when the door lock would not work when we checked in. Rooms were clean, but had the 70's feel with lime green comforters that were shaped to the bed and thin. Detail painting needed to be done and carpets replaced. The doors themselves secured, but were not snug with the frame so you could […] see light come in from the sides. Touches of elegance like chandeliers over some of the doors with dirty/old carpets made it feel like it was an old hotel that was taken over and was slowly upgrading the premises. Room was clean but mattress was old and not comfortable. The service was pleasing and staff was nice. The hall ways smelled of smoke even though the room did not. Over all for the price it was good for the money. The breakfast was better than average with several hot items and many juice choices.

We couldn't believe our room didn't smell like smoke - the ENTIRE rest of the hotel did! The "Lounge" is pretty active on a Friday night. Everything is dated. Seemed clean, but bathroom fixtures were old and the couch in the room was entirely faded - not inviting to sit on. Mattresses were covered in plastic wraps. I did not like the fact that the hotel hallways smelled like smoke and the room smelled like dog hairs. I have a room with two double beds and the blankets on the beds were covered with stains. Even one of the pillows had a giant stain on it when you removed the pillow case. The hotel is old and should be brought up to 2012 standards.

The room was fine. It seemed clean enough. We asked for a non smoking room which we got but the problem was the connecting door to a "smoking" room?? Didn't make sense... We could smell the smoke from next door and had to hang our clothes in the bathroom with the door shut.

Though not the most trendy hotel we've ever stayed in, it met our needs for our overnight stay. The room was clean, staff friendly, grounds maintained. The room was clean and inviting. The two small items that I noticed were that 1) The do not disturb sign had a slight bit of mold growing on it. This was probably from someone trying to clean it with a dirty cloth. and 2) The diverter for the shower prevented about 65% of the water from being used for the shower. There was still a reasonable amount […] of water pressure and plenty of hot water. I was pretty much stuck in the room while my wife was in a conference for 6 to 7 hours a day and I would not mind doing the same thing for another conference here as long as it is not for more than a week. The halls smelled of stale cigarette smoke. We requested a non-smoking room which was noted with a sign in the room but it was far from smoke-free. The keys are what brought this down.....the outside door gold metal key was impossible to get into the building; needed constant jiggling. The hotel card keys themselves stopped working every day after about 8 hours. First they blamed us putting them next to keys. Then They blamed us putting them next to credit cards. Then they blamed us putting them […] next to coins. on the fourth day they started in on the keys again and I'd had it and not only me, there was at one or two other disgruntled guests each time I went to complain. By the time they started on the keys again, i mentioned that I'd stayed in probably 20 other hotels this year and for never had the same problem..... Les mer
