Bra beliggenhet rett rundt hjørnet fra der det skjer, så du bor nært men slipper støy. Basseng og badstu i kjelleren var helt ok. Hotellet har også massasje, prøvde ikke dette. Bra frokost.

The reception personell are professional and very helpfull. Good internet service for those travelling without PC. Negative: Housekeeping to keen to clean up. Meget sentralt i Helsinki med restauranter og butikker rett rundt hjørnet. 5 min til hovedgata og 10 min gange til markedet og havnen. Bra hotell med fine rom. Skal man være kritisk så var det noe støy fra uteliv og litt slapp støvesuging.

Very comfortable room. Centrally located in the main area with all the bars and restaurants literally at your doorstep. Highly recommended

The service was friendly and helpful, but understaffed; when calling to the reception from the room, nobody answered and the que to check-in/reception desk was sometimes extremely long. The lobby was beautiful but the rest of the hotel is bit outdated, clean but a bit old-fashioned when comparing to other hotel I've visited in Helsinki. The room was […] good and well cleaned, except for missing out on refilling the empty shampoo holder and removing a hair in the bath tub. The view was an office building across the quit street . I would have liked the hotel to have precence monitored lightning and heating; terrible waste of energy to keep those on 24-7. Also, the breakfast buffé was quite limited and not very well tempting. Excellent room at an excellent price. Hotel is central to most Helsinki activities and close to the metro, bus and train stations as well. I will definately look to book this hotel on the next visit. Breakfast was also superb.

The hotel is near the central railway station. It's huge but not new. Wifi is very slow, I couldn't watch video but if you want to read news only it's ok. Breakfast is common. It takes about 5 minutes to get to the church in the stone. To the Kauppatori (market square), Explanada and the Cathedral it takes about 10 minutes. The hotel is situated in an excellent location close to central Helsinki. The room was sparsely furnished but highly functional and clean. The breakfast buffet is very good with a lot of variety. There was nothing particularly wrong with the hotel except that they didn't have a gym and the pool was at most 5 ft deep, but they do have a nice sauna. The thing to remember about Helsinki hotel star ratings is that you have to subtract 1 or 2 stars from the listed rating. So this hotel felt like a 2 to 3 star. The room look a little bit like an hospital hotel. The closet doesn't even have a door! Almost no furniture, and everything that was there was on wheels. The breakfast is very basic, and it is exactly the same every day. Very large hotel (about 100 rooms on every floor!) which doesn't really give a nice feeling.

It was just a one night stay before we left Finland.A very big hotel,but not at all noisy,and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.Good breakfast choices. The breakfast was very comprehensive and good quality. The Spanish restaurant however wasn't anything to write home about, but there were some very nice restaurants close by.

I give this hotel an average *** of *****. The location is excellent - close to both transportation and fun. The hotel itself, however, has some faults. The lobby is impressive, a truly 80s Cold War Era-like, at least for foreigners - although Finns would call it Scandinavian baroque minimalism. The rooms are ordinary, but should function well. We stayed one night in Helsinki on our way back to UK after lovely christmas and new years break in northern Finland. We chose the hotel based on the location and we're pleased with that but the hotel itself was a little let down. The reception area was nice enough and service was nice and polite. We were initially allocated a twin room but got it changed […] to a double (small double bed) upon request. The interiors of the hotel, especially the corridors and the bathroom were very dated and felt very 80's. Bed was comfortable enough with only one duvet though.. I guess it was meant as a single room as the bed was small. Again, the breakfast was nice but the choice was not excellent and the room felt very crowded. Would not stay again unless the price was greatly discounted. Felt we payed a bit too much for the room considering what we got for the price. Les mer

once in the city centre arriving by bus/train or from the airport, there is no0 need for taxi. just walk round the corner and you are there. exelent location for shops and night life. clean comfortable and warm hotel.

My stay at the Sokos Hotel Presidentti was pleasant. It is a very big and well maintained hotel. You almost need a map to find your room. If you have a luggage and need help with it, you are out of luck; I could not find anybody in the lobby who could help me with the luggage. I stayed here for 4 nights while in town for a conference. Check-in was a little burdensome- the staff are pretty slow and you have to fill out information that they should already have from the reservation. But after that point, the experience was excellent. The rooms are moderately sized but laid out very efficiently so they feel roomy. All the details […] that make things pleasant were taken care of nicely: a great iron and ironing board, a good hair dryer, great bath products, nice hangers, enough power outlets in the right locations, and a great shower. The internet is reasonably fast but a little annoying to repeatedly log on to. The breakfast is pretty good as well and keeps nice and long hours. The hotel is in a great location, next door to Kamppi but just slightly off from the center of the city so there's less noise from the crowds on the streets at night. I would definitely stay there again for business. If coming for pleasure, I might try to find something a little less expensive. But all the well-thought-out conveniences of the hotel make it worth the price if those things are important to you. Les mer

Yleisilme hyvä, huoneen kunto/siisteys tyydyttävä. Remontoinnin ja siivouksen tarvetta. Päivällinen Sevillassa erinomainen ja ilta Pressassa mukava.

Kiitos ensinnäkin hyvä hotelli ja siisti. Hotelli on hyvällä paikalla on lyhyt kaupungille shoppaamaan. Olisi arvosana noissut vielä jos palvelutiskillä oli sanottu joku kiva sana tai kysytty kuinka matka meni ym.. Mutta kukaan ei puhunut mitään. Jäin tyhjäksi. Sama oli kun lähdettiin mitään ei sanottu. Ei kysytty miten lapsi nukkui tai muuta kivaa, […] josta tulee hyvä mieli. Huonoa oli kun aamiainen oli saman aikaa kuin uinti. Tulimme Lontoonkoneella ja nukkumaan kerkesimme klo 1.30 aikaan. Heräsimme, joten kuten kerkesimme aamiaiselle. Uimaan olisimme halunneet, mutta se oli jo suljettu. Vierailu jäi vähän tynnäksi. Valitsin hotellin kurssipaikan takia. Toista kertaa en aio käyttää sokos hotellia. Verrattuna Scandiciin Sokos hotelli ei ole ollenkaan samalla tasolla. Esimerkiksi S-etu bonuksia ei saanut hotellin hinnasta, varaustavasta johtuen. Paikoitus oli kallis. Ruoka oli hyvää.

Ihanok. Muutama iso puute oli. Alapesusuihkku puuttui kokonaa, käsienpesuallas oli rikki ja pesutilan laatoitus irronnut ja osin rikkoontunut

Huomautettavaa: Vuoteissa patjat olivat liian kovat. Uima-altaan vesi saisi olla mielellään pari-kolme astetta lämpimämpää. Huoneista puuttui kylpytakit.
