Anmeldt av en hotels.com-gjest den jul 13, 2012Jeg valgte hotellets beliggenhet på bakgrunn av nærhet til venner i området. For øvrig var dette andre gangen jeg benyttet meg av Hamton Inn som hotellkjede. Denne gangen, som sist gang, reiste jeg sammen med to barn. Hvis det er noe jeg skal utsette på oppholdet, må det være at hotellet hadde innendørs basseng. Det er svært varmt i området om sommeren, og det hadde vært fint med muligheten for å ta en svømmetur utendørs. Hampton Inn har før øvrig et helt nytt hotell i Folsom med utendørs basseng (og mye bedre treningsrom!!!) Alt i alt var vi utrolig fornnøyde med oppholdet. Generelt vil jeg si at man får mye for pengene her.

Overall, the stay was alright. It would have been better is Parking were not so expensive as well as breakfast in the hotel cafe. Their food prices are outrageous. "Clean, comfortable, and above expectations"
We were only in Sac for a night to see a concert and go out. The hotel is located right downtown, was super convenient, and was above our expectations. In years past we've enjoyed our stay here. But this time we found the facility is not what it used to be. Overall condition of building and rooms is also not up to the normal price. "Would be a good motel if it were managed better"
The hotel is in a great location. Right downtown near the Capitol and big mall. The room is decent sized and has a nice bed with a good mattress. Now the downside: The maintenance is poor. The shower drain was plugged up. The tv remote didn't work. The soda machine was out of water and soda. They only give you one soap to share between the shower and […] sink. Also the hallways reeked badly of smoke. Also I ordered a wake-up call on the morning I was leaving (I had an early flight) and no wake-up call was delivered!!! Owch. MmHotel location was perfect. Out the door and turn left to the plaza shopping... Right to downtown... Hotel was very clean. Staff was professional and pleasant. "Great family hotel for exploring old and downtown"
The main reason we chose this hotel was due to its location. We wanted to spend a weekend to explore Sacramento (e.g. Gold Rush Days or Capitol) and have most of it in walking distance. The kids enjoyed the pool and the restaurant is, as always at Holiday Inns, a great deal when you are dining with kids. The only disadvantage is the close proximity […] to I5. "Could be better, but I've been in worse!!"

"Like coming home..."
Used to stay here when I came into Sac for meetings when I worked for the State. I have to say, this was my best experience ever. Had a great room with a comfy bed and a wonderful view of the river; walked to the mall and a terrific restaurant for dinner; and had a wonderful breakfast in the hotel restaurant.
