Crowne Plaza Miami International Airport - Miami

The hotels.com staff was great in helping me fix issues that arose with my booking. Thank you so much Juan. It was close to the airport which made it a top pick. I had difficulty working with the concierge because they did not speak english well. Everyone else at the hotel was great.

This hotel was just ok. Not exciting at all. The restaurant was too expensive for the boring menu. But there was a great steakhouse up the road. We were only staying there for one night before a cruise and it served the purpose. But I think it's overpriced like everything in Miami.

Friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay here and found the location perfect for shopping, dining getting to the Miami airport.

Overall our stay at the hotel was satisfactory. The staff were very pleasant and helpful One thing that was not satisfactory was the carpet in the Dining Room, it was absolutely filthy, with stains all over. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years. I have never run into this in all of the Crowne Plaza Hotels I have stayed at before.

I find most beds in American hotels to be to soft. I like a firm matttress, but most a a [pilloe top covering - so I usualy make a pallet on the floor. Otherwise the hotel was great.

The Crowne Plaza, Miami Airport is very close to the Airport and the free Shuttle makes frequent trips to and from the hotel. The rooms were adequate as was the breakfast. The outdoor pool area had an amazing view of the undercarriage of planes landing on the nearby runway. I would use this hotel again as it was so convenient.

Staying at this hotel was an unhappy experience. Desk staff was curt & unfriendly. Couldn't answer our questions as reservations were made through a third party. One room had no air conditioning, the other was 65 degrees and couldn't be made warmer. Desk was notified more than once but no one came to check situation. Shuttle driver unhelpful and rude. […] No pedestrian ingress/egress to street. Would not recommend or stay again. Les mer

I found the accomodations really nice and the staffshelpful. I got the rest I needed and I enjoyed everything offered to me and the surroundings.

I was very impressed with the warmth and helpfulness of the front desk staff. They went out of their way to take excellent care of me! The room was lovely and comfortable. All the way around, a very good experience.

Excellent location. The bus shuttle service to the airport is great.

We stayed here because it was so close to the Miami airport and we had an early flight. Free shuttle service runs every 20 min and had pick up at the airport. We had just returned from a Mission trip to Haiti so the accommodations were a refreshing welcome. Would recommend this hotel to people using the Miami airport for travel.

The room was nice and clean but I heard another guests cell phone conversation outside my room and the next room's over TV (I could hear the entire show). The soda machines were empty for boh days that I was there on both my floor and the pool floor. There is also a $13.00 parking fee per day that is not stated anywhere except whent you check in,.

Hotel itself was well maintained and the general upkeep seemed excellent - room and bar were both excellent. As a business traveller, there are occasions, such as this one, where I have one night in a hotel between stops, and need to catch up on laundry. The laundry facilities here were poor - on check in I was told laundry was available, and how much […] it cost, but not offered or asked if I had change. No big deal, except that there was not a change machine in the laundry room, and had to truck back down to the desk to get quarters. The desk didn't have quarters, and the agents there seemed more interested in cashing out and going home than getting me any - was directed to gift shop, and then to bar - the bartender actually gave me his last quarters so I could get laundry done. The soap and bleach in the machine had not been refreshed in some time - long enough that the powder had bricked up. The dryer didn't get my clothes completely dry, still damp, but went back to room and hung things overnight rather than trying to get more quarters, necessitating me getting up early to pack instead of a bit of extra sleep. The hotel was nice and clean The only complaint I have is that if there were people in the hall way talking you can hear that inside the hotel room. So only because i was was very tired i was able to sleep otherwise i would have been up.

the hotel was very clean. there was only one restaurant in walkable distance. The neighborhood wasn't so great. However, everything inside the hotel was very clean. the restaurant wasn't bad either. All things included, it was a great stay

This was my first Crowne Plaza stay. I was VERY impressed. The entire staff was excellent!!! Even called me by my name when I passed the lobby. Just when I thought customer service was dead and gone..........My faith was renewed. FOR SURE I will choose Crowne Plaza on my next hotel stay.

Nice and restful hotel. The staff are attenative and helpful. It is a good place to stay before heading out on a cruise.

My wife and I spent only the night of 10th April in the Hotel, but were satisfied with the comfort and service as commensurate with the rates. We plan to make the Crowne Plaza our regular stopover when we arrive from Germany in the future.

I stayed at this hotel last week bc of the convenience to the airport and was very disappointed. No breakfast included ($9 for basically a continental bfast that was not worth it), the front desk and restaurant staff were very rude, and the parking was $13/day. For the same price, a better hotel can be chosen with the same convenience to the airport. […] Do not recommend. Les mer

We had to make a quick trip to Miami for the weekend and this was the last hotel with a room available. The pictures looked nice and we knew we were not getting anything fancy, just a place to sleep. This hotel is for business travelers ONLY! Anytime you ask an employee for help they look at you like they have to go out of there way to do it. Room service […] is lazy and again dont make the extra effort for the guest. The pool and spa were very dirty, the sauna was covered with mold. Do not go to this hotel if your looking for relaxation because you wont get it here. Les mer

My sink was clogged up, and wasn't draining at all. I called for maintenance. They promptly sent someone up with a plunger. He started working, but then said he had to leave to go to another room. When I entered the bathroom, I nearly gagged with what was all over the sink. I gathered up my things that were laying on the counter nearby. When he returned, […] I told him we would certainly need housekeeping to clean. He proceeded to "unclog" the drain. In a few minutes, he came out and said, "All clean!" I didn't see any cleaning supplies, so after he left, I checked the bathroom. He apparently had used MY towel to clean it out, and left it on the counter near the coffee pot! I asked to be changed to another room. I was moved to an equivalent room. The following morning, I discovered that the plug for the blow dryer didn't work. I had to go to yet ANOTHER room to dry my hair. I was pretty fed up by the time I left. Les mer

The hotel itself is fine, but in a state of slight disrepair. It was the restaurant staff that us very angry. Two reasons in particular. The first is that the gratuity is included in the price causing the server to be rude to us and give us cold fold and take forever to give us any type of service. We had to complain to the manager to have the gratuity […] removed. The second problem is that they were charging a 9% sale tax. From what I know, the rate is actually 6%. This is a huge issue and I am considering contacting the proper tax authorities about that. In summary, the marriot across the street is probably a better choice. Les mer

The hotel was clean and the staff was welcoming. The hotel is close to the airport and there are restaurants in the hotel and the surounding area. It is great for an overnight stay and the price is reasonable.

The hotel is run down, rooms smelled funny, hallways were dark, elevators were slow, and the internet in the business center was so slow it was impossible to use. There are no decent restaurants within walking distance. For the same price you can stay at a much newer, nicer hotel in the area with more amenities. Plus, they have charged my credit card […] twice for one night stay and won't answer the phone so that I can report the double charge. Les mer

Stayed overnight before returning home. We arrived around 8AM, because we returned from a cruise that morning and we were already able to check in and enter our room! Much better than storing the luggage for the entire morning until the regular check-in time. The room was nice and clean, with a very comfortable king-size bed. We were not satisfied with our stay at the Crown Plaza. We missed our flight due to front desk staff didn't inform us that our shuttle bus was here after we spcifically told them to pleas get us. We were sittting in front of them at the buffet place and the shuttle bus left us.

I read reviews before staying here. I had a room on the top floor. The room was very clean and cool. They provided ear plugs and eye covers, but these things were not necessary. The sound protection inside the room was good. The hot tub was too hot, but the steam room was great. The pool area was on the second floor. It had ample chairs, umbrellas and […] tables. The water was nice, but the jet noise was a little too much. The hotel staff was efficient both at check in and check out. The airport shuttle begins at 5 am. The driver was friendly and took us to our terminal. He unloaded the luggage. Good experience! Les mer
