Kort vei til/fra O'Hare int. flyplass. Utenfor Chicago sentrum, så enkelt å komme seg videre uten å havne i tung trafikk. Koselige og høflige ansatte og Legends sportsbar inkorporert i lobby området for å innta middag og drinker til normal pris. Store og fine rom; litt slitte, men rene. Frokosten var langt over middels med utvidet continental frokost. Fitnessrommet var veldig enkelt, men fikk trent basis. Nabolaget er noe slitent forstads- men virket greit.

Hotellet ligger svært sentralt både for shopping og for å få sett Chicago. Personalet der var superhyggelige, og rommene var helt nyoppusset. Vi hadde rom med parkering, og dette fungerte svært bra. Vi slet med å finne hotellet ut fra GPS, og når vi sjekket inn fikk vi høre at dette var et problem for mange av hotellets gjester (TIPS: Når GPS sier at du har kommet til oppgitt adresse, men du ikke ser hotellet, kjør da rett frem gjennom første lyskryss, så vil du se hotellet et lite stykke etter lyskrysset). Vi anbefaler gjerne dette hotellet for andre!

Rent og pent motell til en rimelig pris når man må bo på en flyplass et døgn. Hyggelig betjening, Spesielt hyggelig sjåfør som gratis beringer deg til og fra O'Hare. Fikk ingen beskjed på forhånd om at frokost var inkludert i prisen før etter at jeg hadde vært ute og spist på Subway i nabohuset:) PS! Er det nødvendig å ha pornokanalen gratis blant alle de andre kanalene? Nødvendig å ha porno på tv-en i det hele tatt?

"Good Hotel for a Good Price"
I was very pleased with this hotel. I liked that they actually had smoking rooms (in a separate wing from non-smoking rooms). The pool and hot tub (both indoors) were great, and they have a pretty nice bar/restaurant. The hotel seemed to be well maintained and was easy to get to. They had plenty of free parking, which was nice as well. I travel to Chicago […] frequently, and will probably stay here again. My only complaint is that it is not near the train, so you pretty much have to count on driving. Les mer
"Horrible experience"
The hotel has rooms in the atrium that overlook the pool that was filled with kids and so noisy for hotel guests I asked to be moved to the top floors that were on the other side of the elevators the front desk lied and said they had none available and when I told them I wanted to cancel my reservation and move to a much quieter hotel, they some how […] found a room in that quiet area. "Holiday Inn Skokie - good hotel at a great price"
Very nice facility, convenient to I-94 Edens Expy. Room very clean and nice, comes with free wi-fi, mini-fridge and microwave so you don't have to spend a lot on meals if you don't want to. Pet friendly hotel, nice indoor swimming pool, Bar Louie restaurant located in hotel. Located at a busy intersection close to shopping and expressway, so not a walkable […] neighborhood, but at least it's safe. All in all, a great deal for the price! Les mer
"A Big Disappointment"
I booked this hotel because of the name "Holiday Inn" and that it offered free parking a luxury while you are in Chicago. The hotel was dark, gloomy, dirty and does not even compare to motels in terms of comfort.

"Nice Hotel. Well meaning but incompetent staff."
Overall the hotel was pretty nice. Clean, well kept. The staff was pleasant but unfortunately not all that reliable. When I reserved my rooms I made sure to request a cot for one of our kids. When I checked in I again made sure that we'd being getting a cot and the front desk assured me they would bring it. Hours later I called the front desk to request […] the cot again since it still had not been delivered. An hour after that the front desk called and said they were out of cots. One of my kids ended up sleeping on the floor with our extra pillows and a blanket! Les mer

"Chicago suburb - subpar"
I unfortunately made the mistake of booking to close to my trip and had to settle for a hotel outside of downtown chicago. This is not the hotel for you, if you need to be downtown. Morning rush hour makes the 20 mile commute take between an hour and a half to 2 hours. If you enjoy conversation with taxi cab drivers, this may be ideal for you. The […] room itself, the bed was very firm. The LED clock was like the sun. My room faced the street and was very noisy. The staff were polite and very helpful, scheduling wake up calls and arranging taxi's for me daily. I would say this was the best quality of the hotel. There is a restaraunt in the hotel, Bar Louie. They were out of any beer that I would consider good and the food menu was modest. Breakfast cost just enough that the 10 dollar coupon didn't cover everything, but breakfast was good. I did like how they gave you a coffee cup to go when you're done eating. The neighborhood didn't seem overly horrible. It was what I would expect of a Holiday Inn overall. Les mer
"Old hotel rooms with ants"
Not the accommodations we had hoped to get. The wing we were in was obviously a lost-era open air motel which had been enclosed by a large roof. our room(s) were dark, and on a scary back side of the hotel. Did I mention a colony of ants were accupying the bathroom? Would not recommend.

It's a suburban Holiday Inn....so its' as expected...dated rooms, REALLY dated lobby, clean but not remarkably so....Fortuntaely we got rooms that did not overlook the atrium where there were parties going on both nights. Bar/restaurant surprisingly good. Service spotty -- our girls were in a separate room and were watching a movie when housekeeping […] came by -- rather than offer to give them fresh towels etc. houskeepers obviously hoped they could avoid doing anything by simply saying "You need to leave so we can clean room or we ca'nt do it." Girls did'nt know better so didn't get clean towels or refreshed soap etc. Food was actually very good at the hotel bar Louie's and great TV's for watching sports. Rooms fairly comfortable but curtains didn't close all the way -- letting light in and housekeepers left dirty washcloth on florr and didn't empty dirty coffee filter. But hey, when everything is sold out in Evanston what can you do??? Les mer

Great hotel for 1-2 night stay. Arrived late at night but was no issue for staff...was checked in promptly and arrived to clean, comfortable room. Bar Louie restaurant and bar located conveniently in hotel, and pool and hottub looked great but wasn't able to take advantage this time. Was in town for Lollapoalooza music festival. In the suburbs nice break from the city. Needs some updating carpets buckling, holes in doors and room doors don't close well. Need to slam them shut. Overall nice experience but have stayed in better for the price.

I recently took my family to visit the Magnificient Mile and other Chicago attractions and was looking for a good value hotel. The facility was consistent with the price, the staff and service was top notch and the room was clean and comfortable. We thouroughly enjoyed our time, and I would not hesitate to stay there again. I would recommend a good […] knowledge of the mass transit system to help get around a little easier unless you don't mind paying for the downtown parking. "Sheraton Downtown Chicago"
Not happy with stay. First we were quoted $34.00 per night for parking and the hotel insisted on charging us $ 40.00 per night. They did honor $34.00 rate after Mgmt involvement. Second they put a $ 100.00 hold on my Debit Card for parking, that was Ok, But then they for no reason put another hold on my debit card for $460.00 that caused my account […] to overdraft and now the bank is billing me overdraft charges. When they added the $ 460.00 hold the room had already been paid for 4 days earlier so there was no reason for this hold. I've made two phone calls to the Sheraton to find out who's going to pay these overdraft charges and no one is helping me. Les mer

This was a great deal. This is Large Hotel, everything you needed is under roof so if the weather is bad, it is not an issue. The surrounding area has everything you would need to make this a very nice stay.

When we went to our room the air conditioner was not working. After a call to the front desk, maintenance came to fix the problem. Said it was ok, but it wasn't. Went to see hotel manager. He was wonderful. First he told the desk people to block out that room until the ac was fixed, then he offered us another room. Since we were on our way to dinner, […] the manager went and personally moved our luggage. When we returned he personally walked us to our room and told us to call him if anything was not correct. Overall the hotel was clean, well staffed with friendly and accommodating people. Will stay there again at Thanksgiving! Les mer

I recently stayed at this hotel and i was not satisfied at at all..The paint was coming off the walls and the room looked like a very old one. My room was next to a back door, there were some hotel guys using this door at midnight so i could not sleep and i was disappointed with the stay. so i would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice […] stay Les mer

"Excellent service"
The assistant manager checked us in and went out of his way to ask if we had any special needs (we didn't). We stopped on our way out to ask about driving into the city and the clerk on duty suggested that instead of driving we take the train. He gave us a map and directions to the train station just a few blocks away. It was definitely a good call. […] $4 to park all night and $5.00 for the train. We got downtown in about 30 minutes and didn't have to drive or pay $40 to park. On our way home on Sunday we were just about out of the city when my wife discovered she did not have her phone. We called the hotel and housekeeping had found it and they were holding it for us. We would stay here again. Les mer

Room was clean. Only problem was had to ask the front desk 3 times to fix our toliet that was leaking before they finally sent someone. However, when the man came he fixed it very quickly and was nice and apologetic.
