i have stayed there once before and it was very nice i had eveything i needed the room had a refridgerator, microwave, and plenty of room this time i didn;t have a refridgerator or microwave the lighting was not very good to use my laptop with also when i checked in the 2 employees were in the restroom i waited over 5 minutes for them also the ice machine […] was not very close to room didnt feel safe walking that far after dark so i lost all my cold food i brought Les mer

The hotel and staff were very accomodating and polite however at 9:00pm the bar next door starts their very loud live music. Overall not bad but when you have to catch a 6:00am flight it makes for a long day.

Bed was comfortable, felt safe, very clean. Breakfast was fine. I had the scrambled eggs, biscuit and gravy.

It was great for the price and right off the highway so it was easy access to where I needed to be. My room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also better than I expected. I appreciated the Texas shaped waffle iron. All in all it was a good place to stay and I would stay again if I need to return to McKinney.

My husband and I traveled to Texas for a few days for a job interview. Our room was good enough for what we hoped would be good nights sleep and decent breakfasts in the morning. A surprise to us was that our bedroom (and half of the hotel's rooms) faced Hanks, a very loud and rowdy restaurant/bar/club. Every night we were there, we were greeted by […] a parking lot FULL of customers going to this bar, leaving no parking spaces for customers of the hotel, plus LOUD music that played on until early hours in the morning. We also had the "pleasure" of listening to men fighting right outside our door-I'm sure they were Hank's customers as well. Our chances for good nights sleep were completely out the window and the breakfast was...ok. I do not know which came first, Hank's or the Quality Inn, but unfortunately this restaurant reflects poorly on this hotel's review. I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone who is not interested in this type of scene. We will not return to this hotel. Les mer

The staff was great and they were very accomodating.The breakfasts were good. However; the location next to Hanks Bar and Grill and the loud band was not good. We were moved to the backside of the motel and that was better. Don't stay in the north tier of rooms on Thursday, Fri. Sat and Sun nights when the band is playing. Also, on band nights patrons […] park in the motels parking spaces making customer parking at a premium. Also, walls were thin, allowing normal conversation from the adjorning room to be heard enough to hear what was being said. The room was only $50/night via internet so don't expect 5 star accomodations. The 4.2 rating is misleading. An overall rating of 2 is closer. Les mer

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay for a number of reasons. We needed to find a place for a couple of nights to help family move. * It was one of the lease inexpensive places we found and very close to our desired location. * The staff was very friendly and quick to accommodate reasonable requests. * The room was a little on the small side but very comfortable. […] The king bed mattress was just right. The heating unit worked great. The shower was hot. Standard def with a tube tv but okay. * The hot breakfast was great! * It was also closely located to a number of restaurants, shops and a Walmart. It was Fine. We did have a little trouble getting to the hotel due to road construction which the hotel has not control over. Also, there was a bar next door that had live bands late at night which was a little loud but not too bad. The food at the bar was great!

The hotel is OKAY. I think the price I paid is too much to say it was supposed to be a discounted rate. Especially since there are other low-budget hotel chains in the immediate area.

Great room for the price. I felt safe there. I got the impression from the staff at check in and check out that they were not happy I booked the room through Hotels.com because of the price I paid. Everything was wonderful except the location was a bit sketchy. My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and for the price it was a great hotel. I was pleasantly surprised to find my room had the exact same quality's of ones I had paid three times that in the past. I will definatly be staying here agin. Very loud band playing at bar and grill was disturbing on Saturday evening for rooms on north rooms of motel.

Hotel doesn't look like much on the outside. But the rooms are very nice, clean and spacious. I would not expect to find such a nice room in this price range. Staff was extremely friendly.

Overall, no problem. I would stay there again. Only complaint was that the Ice Machine on the 2nd floor was broken, and there are only Soda machines...was hoping for a late snack (chips) but there were no vending machines except for Pepsi/Coke. Otherwise .. 5's for the price.

Very old and outdated. Did not really feel safe there at all. Was given a ticket for a free breakfast. You would think with a "ticket" it would like a resturant or something like. It was just a regular complimentary breakfast like at some other hotels. Food was not that great.

The room is very nice, looks up to date and spacious, I was very impressed. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the room was great, especially for the price. I didn't get breakfast or check out anything else, but like I said, quite pleased with the value for the price.

This was not a hotel. We did not feel safe and were disappointed by the outside of the "hotel" that was actually a motel. We were given meal "tickets" and pool "tickets"... Overpriced for what we got. Look else where if looking for normal "quality" instead of the quality inn.

When we pulled up it looked like a nice place.... after waiting for at least 15 min to check in( one person in front of me) i told the guy that i had a reserved room and gave him my name. after a few min of punching keys on the computer he called the maid service, and from the conversation that i could here it was not pleasant. i had reserved a pool […] sode room, they did not have one ready or cleaned, this was at 4:30pm, check in states 3pm, i ended up getting a room on the outside of the hotel, which was not what i wanted or what i had reserved. needless to say i WILL NOT be staying there again upon our next visit. Stayed 1 night. the remote in our room didn't work and there was no hot water in the morning. The beds were very comfy. the neighborhood seems a little rough. Staff offered to replace remote and was working on hot water but it didn't matter to us since we were just there for a single night.

The only thing that keeps this from being 5 stars is its closeness to the expressway, only a few hundred yards away. If you have a roon in the rear of the hotel, this won't be a problem. If your room is in the front, the traffic noise could be irritating.

Nice hotel with all the ammenities that we needed. Clean and well maintained. Was close to area we needed and we were pleased with our stay. The breakfast was good and the area was clean. We enjoyed our stay.

The staff was very courteous and helpful. The only negative thing I have to share is that one of the sttaff came into the dining room and changed the tv channel while we were watching the news/weather and eating breakfast.

Checked into hotel and walked into the bathroom and a dead cricket and small bug were dead on the floor. Later that day the TV remote would not work. They were real quick to bring us a new one. But then we realized our TV did not get most local channels; FOX, NBC or ABC. They said the problem was the TV in our room. The only thing they said they could […] do was move us to a new room. Hotel appears to have been rremodeled recently and I was pleased to have a nice room. Hotel was advertised to have a resturant which has been closed for some time. The complimentary breakfast that these types of hotels are always lacking. additionally the breakfast areas are overflowing with a herd of people fighting to get to the waffle and microwave […] machines. Many times you must clean someone elses mess off the table if you can find one. Having a resturant at a hotel is always a plus especially when the weather is not good (rain, snow, or not a good neighborhood, etc.).- Les mer

Older, and somewhat dated hotel/motel, but the front desk (at least upon check-in), room, and pool couldn't be more accomodating. We arrived VERY early (10am), and asked what the earliest check in time might be, expecting to maybe check in by noon or 1pm. The very cordial front desk person ( I am only sorry we didn't ask her name!) asked for an ID, […] then handed us a room key, in short order. We were able to stow our belongings, and get on with our planned day. The room was quite nice/comfortable, and we had a wonderful view of the pool, which drew us for a late night swim, before it closed at 10pm. For the price.... an exellent stay! Les mer

This hotel is conveniently located right off the service road of northbound Central Expressway in McKinney. The beds are big & comfortable & they do have smoking rooms available. They also have a nice sized pool that you can use during the summer months.

I checked in late and due to the hour,? I had no blanket on the bed? Had to have the air on cold as it was hot. Frooze that night. The next two days I was provided a cover for the bed. I dont know what it was but each day I kept finding crickets in the room. Even in the bathtub
