"YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR"
Woooow. The guy at the front did NOT know what he was doing. He gave us a room that was not clean had no bedding and paint all over the floor.
This was one of the most affordable and comfortable stays i have had in a long time great for if you are on a budget.

All of thehotel was dated, hotel is marked Ramada not Travelodge, front desk staff was just ok, not polite but not rude. Room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel was not clean at all. The shower head was coming off wall. There were stains all over floor. It is a few miles from campus and really short drive. They have not even changed their signs that say Ramada.

"Get what you pay for"
This is by no means a 5 star hotel, however, for the price, it is worth it. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was clean except for stains and peeling wallpaper. Attached to the hotel is a bar, but I heard no noise from it and I was there on the weekend. My only problem is that they required a $10 'cleaning fee' for my dog, which was a little […] ridiculous considering the condition of the room. Overall, it was worth the small price paid. Les mer
"Needs Maintenance Badly - Rooms were Gross"
The hotel looked like it barely survived some severe weather. The outside of the hotel was in bad condition, the lobby area was ok, the hallways were disgusting, the rooms were barely clean and the breakfast was gross. Nothing good to write...sorry.

It was difficult to find as the Ramada sign has not been changed to Travelodge.. had to call to find out where it was. Room was quite smokey smelling. a little Fabreze would help (I did request a smoking room)

"Good for night but name different on sign"
Hotel name changed and its not Travelodge but a Ramada. Sign on road has changed but reservation said otherwise, which is quite annoying when its late and one is tired. Hotel room was fine but desk clerk told us to drive to side door with no elevator nearby. Not too convenient with luggage. We stayed on Sat night and there is a nightclub that is rocking […] until late so don't expect a silent night. Fair free breakfast but no fruit. Les mer
The hotel was hard to find. There was no sign it had Ramada Inn on the building. They said the travelodge had been there for 7 months and never put a sign. Hard to find when plane gets in at midnight and no sign

"Trevelodge Lincoln"
Everyone was nice, and the room was clean, so overall it was fine. But the building still has a Ramada sign, and so it was really difficult to find. I figured it out by dumb luck. The hotel is kind of run down in general, and the free breakfast was pretty gross actually. The only thing that was fully stocked was a vat of gravy for buiscuits. "Not even the right name"
This hotel is marketed as Travelodge but the actual hotel is still Ramada Inn, so the picture is faulty, it is connected to a bar with rowdy people with paper-thin walls with no one enforcing a quiet area. Rooms looked run down, smelled bad, and not all light fixtures worked. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially women alone.
"Hard to Find"
As another person said, name on sign says Ramada instead of TravelLodge. Otherwise hotel was fine, pool open until 11pm, helped since got in a little later.
"Great Value in a Great Town"
We stayed at this hotel with our family on our way back to St. Louis. The staff was professional and helpful. As of 8-12-11 the hotel has not changed their signs from Ramada Inn to Travel Lodge. I am thrilled that I read reviews prior to our trip. This tidbit of information was extremely helpful in locating the hotel!! Beyond that, my only dislike of […] the hotel is the hallways. The hallways have yet to be updated and the smell of smoke is extremely strong on the side of the building where smoking is allowed. However, when we made our way across to our room, the smell was not in the hallway nor in our room. As per the room, we were very pleased. It was extremely clean and comfortable. The kids loved it and we all slept wonderfully. I would recommend this hotel to anyone or any family that is looking for a clean and economical room. If you are looking for the Ritz Carlton, this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a place to lay your head for the night, in a clean room, in a good town at a value, this is the place. "Hope the signs have been changed"
The only trouble we had was trying to find the hotel. We finally called them & were told Travelodge just bought the Ramada Inn but the signs hadn't changed yet. Once we found it, our stay was good. The room was big & clean, and so was the pool. Breakfast was mostly sweet things. Could add some low carb choices for diabetics.

After reading previous reviews, I knew to look for a Ramada sign instead of Travelodge otherwise we would have driven around forever trying to find the place. Even inside the hotel, it says ramada (one small sign does say Travelodge). They really need to decide WHO they are and advertise as such. Other than that our stay was fine...breakfast had many […] enjoyable choices-including hot foods and both skim and 2% milk. Besides the name issue, the rooms seemed a little outdated and not so allergy friendly-even in the non-smoking room, maybe it was a bit dusty; I just woke up with some allergy problems I did not have before I arrived. The device that requires a key card to enter the hotel was broken on multiple doors, so the hotel was accessible to anyone without having to go through the main entrance. The entrance door two doors down from my room was open to anyone.
Had difficulty finding this hotel. Thats because the sign still says ramada inn. Pool and breakfast were nice amenities.

"Not a Ramada Inn but the signs say it is."
The hotel definitely needs remodeled, but for the price was a decent place to stay. The staff customer service was great. However, the Travelodge used to be a Ramada Inn but no of the signs have been changed so finding it was a lain in the rear and we had to call the hotel to find them.
Very courtieous. Got into town early and they let us check in early that was Great. Hopefully they will get teir sign changed soon. This is a little confusing still have the Ramada sign up.
"Not well maintained"
Hotel is dated and not well-maintained. Wallpaper peeling off the wall in our room, spots on the carpet. Still has the Ramada Inn sign as of July 1st. Would not know where to find it without reading the reviews. I don't mind older accomodations of they are clean and well-cared for. This one is not.

"Needs work"
I realize the Travelodge just acquired this hotel from the Ramada - in fact I had to call to find it, because all the signs still say Ramada. It would be wise for hotels.com to advise guests of this if they book there. I heard them talking about replacing carpet, so I can only hope they are about to do some major renovations on this place because it […] needs it. Lights in my room had cobwebs, the windows were dirty - some were broken in the hallways and replaced with plywood. Wallpaper was mismatched. The supposed secure outside entrances were open to anyone. Overall, if you enjoy the ambiance of the ghetto in the middle of the countryside, you'll love this place. It was a quick overnight stop for me, so it was good enough, but I have had hotels thru hotels.com on this trip that were cheaper and 100 times better. Les mer

"Good for the price"
If you're looking for a clean, safe room with easy access to the interstate at a great price, then this is the place for you. Staff was very helpful and room was clean. The common areas were a bit abused, but that should be expected for such a high volume place. Check it out if you're looking for a good place to lay your head for the night.

"Travel Lodge in Ne"
I would have say like the reveiw I read the signs are still not up so it does looked like a Ramada Inn. I asked the staff why it looks like that they said, "They are waiting on the signs to come in." If I bought someone esles hotel that would be one of first things to fix is signing less confussion for the customer. I have to say the staff is okay […] but they seem to not care about what was going on there. The pool room was right infront of the desk and the kids in the pool room were horse playing good chance of getting hurt, the staff just sat there didn't even care. Also they have a bar as the resturant connected to it, the parents watching there kids were bringing beers in the pool area and drinking away as they watched. I would think the hotel would have stopped that, but didn't. Les mer

Things are quite worn, carpets look dirty, outside of room doors dirty. However bedding and bathroom of room were clean. Towel rack fell off the wall when getting towel. Needs maintenance. "out of the way hotel"
the place is need of alot of maintenance. I was a chief engineer of a hotel in lincon ne. they only have a part time maint. person and he wasn't the brightest person. ceiling falling down in pool area. pool dirty. things missing in rooms. door stops, mirror clips, etc. they need to spend some money and fix up the motel. front desk service was great.
