Pillow Cases dirty/ hairs on them => had to call for clean ones, otherwise O.K. Would not stay there again.
The room and common areas were clean and well lit. The bathroom was antiquated, the shower head was plugged and the tile work was terrible. The bar lounge was descent and the staff was friendly. I did have trouble with the room key but the gard came right up to let us in.

Bed was comfortable, but noise in the hall and from room upstairs kept waking me up. I finally called the fromt desk after midnight and they promised to send security to see about the noise. "Easy access"
Right next to the airport. Very friendly service. Average quality and amenities.
Our reserved room was given away to a hockey tournament, which we found out upon arrival. Our booking of two queen beds was changed to a queen and a pull out loveseat (probably smaller than a single bed). Not quite enough room for two adults and two children to sleep in. We were also given a smoking room, even though we had reserved a non-smoking. The […] hundred or so teens that were running around the hotel all night led to very little sleep. We also only had decaf coffee in the room, which made the morning after the sleepless night much more enjoyable. At least the room was semi-clean. Les mer
"The staff couldn't do enough to help!"
I assumed a standard airport hotel but it was a lot more! Checkin was quick and efficient . Provided info on shuttle bus and other things I needed to know! I am sure to be back in the area and I am planning to stay here every time! The bar and resturant was also a bonus !

This hotel was wonderful.The steaff was very friendly and helpful.My children had a great time swimming in the huge pool.Very close to all the sites that we wanted to see.

One night stay at this hotel to see an Indoor Lacrosse game - Bandits Vs Knighthawks Short ride (3.5m) to downtown rochester Pool, sauna & hit tube were good. Last year we stayed at the Country Inn by Carlson Brighton and I liked that hotel better. It was a less expensive then Holiday Inn and had a nice breakfast. "Not the greatest"
If you are planning on visiting this hotel and you have kids who like to swim...DONT BOTHER! The only reason we chose this hotel was because of the size of the pool and how nice it looked, it would have been nice if they tell you they offer a swim club to the public and good luck trying to swim in the pool. The people in th pool were rude and woudn't […] even let my daughters in the hot tub. SO if you think that because you are a paying customer and can enjoy the pool, you are sorely mistaken. Due to recent foot surgery, I needed to keep one of my feet dry. I requested a bathroom with a bathtub. I even asked when we checked in and they said "Yes, it has a tub." But it was a handicap accessable room with just a shower. We did not have any trouble getting them to change the room once we took all our bags down and looked over the situation. "Would not stay again."
Our door card reader did not work so the door was always unlocked, not 1 ice machine in the Hotel worked, No morning paper as promised, charged us for a Movie we did not rent, food service was awful, room smelled, lifeguard was very mean to our children. Never again Holiday Inn.
We were not very happy with the Holiday Inn. Room was dirty especially the bathroom. Room very dark even with all lights on. Very long walk from room to front desk and not very well marked.

"Great time, nice hotel...strange bar"
We stayed during graduation week at RIT and everything was very good. Staff is super nice, room is adequate, clean and bed is very comfortable, but what we enjoyed the most was watching the bowlers (there was a bowling tournement in the area and many stayed there) try to dance. We went to the bar (called ROC) and spent 3 hours drinking and laughing […] about the bad 70s music and dancing (which included the elctric slide, many variations of the two step shuffle and a bunch of tipsy people trying to get down to "how low can you go?"). The DJ thought he was super cool and that in itself was kind of funny, as he danced along behind the controls. It was like being in a time warp. So funny to see and so fun to watch. The temperature in the room was a little tricky to adjust. (not in the controls, just got too warm, turn down, got to chilly) We have no problem staying again though as it is easy to find the Chili High School from there which is where our gym meet was. We also enjoyed the large indoor pool. We had a voucher to eat breakfast in the hotel restaurant […] but just ate the buffet since we weren't sure how long it would take to special order. Great hotel close to the airport. FREE shuttle to (and from) Rochester airport even for very early flights. On-site restaurant has a decent menu selection, reasonably priced, good service, full bar. Food was very good. Our room was clean, comfy, provided all the amenities we needed. Got a great night's sleep - - the beds are really comfy!

We chose this hotel for convenience to airport and family, however it's older and dated. Hotel has amenities such as pool restaurant fitness Ctr, etc but no area attractions near. Cannot walk to anything (except my family's house). Staff was friendly, service good, just not much around. Reasonable price was addl draw. The hotel was very comfortable; yes, there were flaws in painting or a worn area of a rug but, all in all, this hotel was wonderful. "clean, comfort & affordable"
Check in was easy. Check out as well and they offered a ride over to the airport. Location was close to airport but away enough so it wasn't busy or noisy. Room was very clean and smelled good. Bed was very comfortable, in fact, best nights sleep I had in a long time.

The Holiday Inn is extremely convenient to the U of R campus, and reasonable priced, making it a good choice for visiting parents. Although comfortably arranged, the room felt a bit grubby (rugs), and on our visit the bathtub drain was plugged. We also weren't too excited about noisy equipment outside of our room.

I am disappointed to find out there was no wireless internet access in the room. In addition, cleaness of the room needs to improve, especially bedding. Bathroom tub is clogging.
The hotel carpet was a bit worn and dingy and it seemed like we had to walk a mile to our room. Other than that the room was fine and the bed was very comfortable.

"Rochester Airport Holiday Inn"
I was disappointed with this hotel. It's old and didn't appear to have been updated anytime in the recent past. I feel it was overpriced. I've paid less for better hotels and was glad I was only staying one night. Holiday Inn's are hit and miss. Some are great and some like this one need to be updated.
