Vi bodde 5 dager på dette hotellet. Rommet har atkomst fra svalgang og er av vanlig amerikansk standard. Hotellet er beliggende i annen rekke fra stranden, litt langt mot nord, men med hyggelige omgivelser. Bassenget er lite for voksne, men ok for mindre barn. Rommet inneholder mikrobølgeovn og kjøleskap, men det er dårlige muligheter for å spise på rommet.

Det var stor forsell på rommene vi fikk. Det ene var ok på alle måter, mens det andre hadde en inngangsdør som så vidt lot seg åpne og lukke. Og i gangen var det litt dårlig lukt, samt at det ikke var særlig varmt på badet. Rommene er utstyrt med lokalt aircondisionagregat, og dtte medfører endel støy. Videre virker restaurant og bar "litt kalde" og ikke så alt for trivelige. Et pluss for gode senger og masse puter for dem som liker dette.

It was a nightmare

"Chesapeake, VA"
1rst room horrible smell, toilet wouldnt flush, wall paper falling off wall. 2nd room in a dark corner by the dryer vents, bed was the worse thing I ever laid on. Some of the staff was very rude while others were very nice. I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
"Days Inn, Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake, VA"
The people at this hotel were wonderful, they did all they could to help us. The hotel, however, was in very poor condition. The beds were very uncomfortable with springs coming through. The bathrooms were very small, toilet almost touching the tub. Wallpaper coming off the walls, black smoke stains on the ceiling, the comforters were not clean, the […] doors were dirty. The pool was so very small. Most of the things they advertise for the rooms were not in the rooms. Hit water stopped working and they would not give another room, had to walk across parking lot to another room just to shower. For the price I paid I was very upset with what I got. "Do NOT stay here!!!"
After driving from Charleston, WV we arrived with 9 other family members at the Days Inn in Chesapeake, VA ready to relax. We had reserved 4 rooms. First we saw a drunk woman lying in the doorway of the room next to our daughter's. The phone in our son's room was literally in pieces. Our room had multiple stains on the carpet. There were parties going […] on most of the night and kept us awake until the wee hours of the morning. Breakfast was nearly non-existant----we went next door to Dunkin' Donuts instead. I would NEVER stay here again and would suggest that no one else does either!!!!!! Les mer
"Wrost stay ever"
I would never refer somebody to stay at this hotel ever. It was the nasty place I have ever stayed in my life. There was huge bugs surrounding the sleeping area. The bathroom tub was overall dirty as every. By far this is the nasty hotel in history. However the staff was very nice.

This hotel was gross. The bathroom was disgusting. The fixtures were rusted, the wallpaper was pealing, and the tub looked dirty. One of our pillows looked like someone stepped on the pillowcase. This was the dirtiest hotel I had ever stayed in. Wall paper was coming off the walls in the bathroom. Door knob was falling off and almost got stuck in there. The bath tub was very disgusting. The sink was also disgusting. Microwave didn't work. My sister;s room had wires hanging down from the kitchenette area and my niece saw roaches in her room. This place was so dirty and in such disrepair i could not beleive it. It looks great in the pictures online but its nothing like that in person. I should have listed to the other reviews! There were stains on the bathrom door, burn holes in the linens, lights not working, cracks in the bathroom floor, stairways falling apart. "Bathroom needs tlc."
Bathroom was in terrible shape. Toilet was loose from the floor and was rocky, shaky and not safe at all. There were lots of bugs coming up from under the stool. This needs to be taken care of. Tub had scum on it also. We had to scrub it out before we used it.

"If CLEAN is what you want, look elswhere"
First the positives: Front desk staff were among the friendliest I've ever encountered, answered all our questions, easy check-in. Mainteance person also polite/helpful, and better than expected breakfast bar fare. But...overall facility is quite run down, garbage overflowing from trash cans (that look like they haven't been washed in years) @ stairs-beer […] bottles, fast food wrappers/bags-really smelly, stair cases dirty & in need of repair, top floor ice machine-dead, stained bed spread, paint peeling from bathroom cieling (room was clean enough, water was hot, and furniture in good repair) sink lever fell off on 1st attempt to use...at least the toilet flushed OK. Motel location was good, though so close to busy intersection that entry & exit are difficult/confusing. Large trucks will have a hard time, but ample parking for cars & doughnut shop in front if you want good coffee...I've been to 20+ countries over the years so gotten use to a lot... though it was a little scary (but sometimes funny) for my wife. This place needs serious renovation, reminds me of accomidations in developing countries...but it was one of the more affordable motels in the area. Les mer

"Dirty & Old"
The price is right and you get what you pay for. The room was filthy-not because the housekeepers don't do the best they can because I'm sure they do-simply because the hotel is in desperate need of repair and upgrading. The bed and pillows were worn out and uncomfortable; our faucet handle on the one sink kept breaking off so I had to brush my teeth/hands […] with scalding hot water; the bathroom smelled like smoke (although I was in a non smoking room); the carpet was gross...Just overall not a great experience. If I had to stay more than 4 nights, I would've bit the bullet and moved next door to the Hampton Inn at double the price...I kept reminding myself that I'd rather spend that extra $200 on entertainment...Won't be staying there again! "Surprisingly Disappointed"
When faced with a large choice of available hotels/motels in this area, I chose Days Inn based on past experience with their extremely affordable and quality hotels in which I've stayed across the country. Unfortunately, this was by far one of the dirtiest and most run-down Days Inn at which I've ever had the displeasure of staying. The first thing […] I noticed when walking into the room was a large brown and black water stain in the ceiling above the entertainment cabinet with large pieces of the popcorn ceiling peeling in several spots. The chairs and carpet were also filthy and stained. The rim of the bathtub was ringed with cigarette burns and the bottom of the once-white tub was also stained and dingy greyish-tan color and appeared to need an obvious scrubbing. When I asked to move to a different room, only one was available. The condition of this room was only worse. What was once an efficiency room now had a large gap in the kitchen counter where a stove/oven once resided. The entertainment cabinet dwarfed the available 17" color TV. And once again the overall room simply appeared to be dirty. I reluctantly returned to my original room for the evening. I'll never stay at this Days Inn again. Les mer

the 1 1/2 stars is an accurate reflection of the quality of the hotel. For a Days Inn it was disappointing. The hotel was in disrepair and clearly doesn't undergo regular maintenance. "good deal"
A very nice room for the money, good size with a desk and table for guys working out of town this is a good deal. Lots of hot water too and good shower pressure after a long day on the job. Plenty of places to eat close by and grocery stores to stock the room’s refrigerator.

"Days Inn at Chesapeake--Decent basic room"
The room was nothing special and could have been cleaner. The beds were a bit worn out. But I wasn't expecting the Four Seasons at this price anyway. The pool is open late, which is great when you have traveled all day.
"Rock hard bed, but very low price"
Only 30 minutes from the beach and less than half the price of everything else in the area. However, you get what you pay for. The bed was rock hard (it was cheap when it was new, and that was probably 15 years ago) and the outside landscaping was...well....nonexistent. Cig butts all over the ground and weeds taller than me. Buuuuuuuut, like I said......its […] cheaper than anywhere else in town so it was a good deal overall. It seems to me than a modest investment in landscaping and some new beds would allow them to charge an extra $40-$50 per night, allowing them to recoup their cost within months. But what do I know. "Days Inn in Chesepeake VA"
This hotel was ok. We got a really good deal on our stay. The pool was not ever opened until after noon each day, when it is as hot as it was during our stay the pool should get cleaned and be open in a decent amount of time. The room had a broken bathroom floor hole in the door and a nail sticking out of the carpet right in front of the bathroom door. "The hotel in Chesapeake"
This was located in close proximity to dining, grocery stores, and a Walmart. There was so many places in the surrounding area to choose from. Also, we were only 20 minutes from the beach which was very convenient for us. We will be going back in 6 weeks and definitely plan on staying there again.

I was uncomfortably hot the entire 2 days I was here. The air conditioner didn't work well. I didn't let them come to clean my room while I was there because I was afraid it would get too hot if they left the door open while cleaning and take too long to cool down. I filled a cooler with ice and filled the bathtub with cold water and put the ice in […] it. I sat in this when I got too hot. But, the ice machine was out of ice the second day. Les mer

"Days Inn - Chesapeake"
We chose this hotel for the location and price. The location was perfect; we where able to be on the road in the morning without any delay. The room itself was fine for the price - it was somewhat dingy, but quite clean. The continental breakfast consisted of cereal, muffins, bagels, juice, coffee, tea. Nothing great, but we were able to have coffee […] and be on our way. There is also a Dunkin Donuts near by. We did not check out the pool. "Make sure you inspect room"
I chose this hotel for its location. You can't beat having a Dunkin Donuts in the parking lot in an area that is overrun with high priced Starbucks. The room was not clean but we were so tired and didn't notice until the next day. They didn't have another room that was smoking. Overall, for the price it was what I expected but make sure you check out […] everything in the room first before you bring your stuff in. "Needs maids"
Had to change rooms. First was so nasty and not cleaned. The other was better. The bathtub floor was not clean had slime growing. Had to wash feet after getting out. Alot of people roaming outside at night. Was booked two nights, did not go back and stay the second night.

My young grandchildren visited us at the room and within a shourt time their feet were black from the very dirty carpet. I could not allow them to get on the floor once we washed their feet. I anvised the hotel clerk who seemed unconcerned.
