Hotellet har valgt polstret stoff som tapet på veggene i resepsjonen og frokostsalen. Disse er nå hullete av slitasje og svært skitne av berøring. Vi hadde forventet god frokost, etter å ha lest mange omtaler som gir uttykk for dette. Appelsinjuicen var ferskpresset og kjempegod, men maten besto til stor del av kaker og croisanter samt veldig fet salami […] og kjedelig skinke. I tillegg noe lokal ost, men aldri camembert, brie eller god gulost. Naturell yougurt fra stor boll var god. Vi fikk kjempestort rom, og digert bad med boblebad. The hotel is not bad for a 3 star but they claim they are 5 star.... they also claim to have a gym, but a running belt and an ancient bench press with barely no weights don't amount to much... so expect 3 stars and you will not be disappointed.

We like their breakfast. There are so many varieties including greek foods.

The hotel is nice and well maintained, but I would not consider it a 5 star hotel. The staff is friendly and for the most part helpful, but when I asked questions about events going on in the city, they didn't seem to know anything (ie, was there a soccer game happening within the next week). The breakfast is nice that it's included and buffet-style, […] but the food was mediocre (again, not what I'd expect at a 5 star) and even a little cold sometimes. The location is perfectly fine, though there is very little within walking distance. It's about a 10-15 min walk to the closest metro station (Megaro) from where you can get pretty much anywhere. The room itself was fairly clean, with a small stain here or there. There was an issue with our showerhead which was fixed immediately, so I would compliment them on their quick service. Les mer

My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights while we were in Athens. The staff were friendly and helpful (opening the elevator door for us) and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and very tasty. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Megaro Moussikis station and a 5 minute metro ride to Syntagma Square (7 minutes to Monastiraki). […] It was far enough to where the price and quality were within our budget, but close enough to where it was a snap to get places. The surrounding area is rather quiet, but I'd pick that over something super touristy and busy (like around the Acropolis) or cheap but in a bad neighbourhood (like Omonia). I'd definitely recommend for others in their late 20s onwards to stay here for a nice and relaxing experience. Les mer

My very first night ever in Greece and this was a wonderful hotel to start with. Although I was only there for a night, the staff could not respond faster, and with more courtesy than they did. Everything was with a smile, the room was great and the efftorts of everyone was first rate. We asked for a nice local restaurant and they sent us to exactly […] what we needed!! We needed a very early cab (despite the strike) and it was there, and with a very early breakfast just for us. When I am in Athens again, I know where to go!! Les mer

This was our first trip to Greece, all seven of us, and it was our first night in the country. Our three rooms were spacious, and the staff was absolutely first rate. Breakfast is important, and the included buffet was fantastic. We all would highly recommend this hotel!

Definately not a 5 star hotel in my mind. No air conditioning in late March! It was 27 degreees in my room and I asked to have the air conditioning on. The reply was that the hotels was on central heating and individual room temperatures were not possibly - I could open the window if I was too hot. With Athens traffic outside the window it was not possible […] to sleep so I asked for another room which was reluctantly provided. At check out I had to pay 5 EUR for the minibar. When I presented my credit card I was asked if I did not have cash instead! Well, I guess it is my decision to choose what means of payment I use. All in all not a worthy 5 star hotel. Expect a 3 star hotel and I guess you will be satisfied. Les mer

Very nice hotel with cozy lobby, meeting rooms, computer room, gym. The room was not very large, but clean, with very spacy bathroom and good AC. Breakfast was hearty and included some elements of local cusine. About 10 min. walk from the nearest metro station. And by metro, you can get around the whole city pretty easily, including the airport.

Hotel staff was very friendly / helpful .... charming hotel but definitely not a 5 star. 4 stars might be stretching it as well. Rooms are definitely dated and mine had a peculiar smell to it that I didn't enjoy. Breakfast Buffet is great as well as the room service. Modernize / update the rooms and I'd give this hotel 4.5 stars for sure.

The hotel was everything that I could have hope for and more! It was centrally located, close to public transportation. It was very clean, the staff was wonderful and the breakfast was amazing!!!

I thought this was a great hotel. Very friendly staff, well built facilities, and a pretty decent location. If you're going to drive to the hotel and are hesitant about driving in the city, there's a toll road that will drop you off closer to the hotel, about 10 blocks away. It's about a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station if you want to see […] the sights downtown, and then it's only 3 stops away. The neighborhood is OK. My friend was thrown off because there is a lot of graffiti, but don't let that get to you. That's a common problem in Athens and does not reflect the safety of the neighborhood. I went out at night and did not feel at all concerned. There are a few places to eat in the area, but if you're there for tourism, just focus on downtown for food. The one item I was not happy about was the fact that the hotel claims it has free parking, and so picked this hotel expecting it to have a garage with lots of spots. That was not the case. It only has a few spots in front and if you are lucky to get a spot, that is what they consider free parking. There is a parking garage right next to it as well as behind it, but you will be paying for those. Les mer

This is the second time I've stayed here. Both times were great. Wonderful service; clean, spacious rooms; and a spectacular complimentary breakfast. All this in Athens for a great price. This hotel is a '10' in my book.

The hotel itself is not bad. It is clean and safe. The price is good and the neighborhood is safe. The breakfast is excellent. However, the hotel is not even close to a five star hotel. The hotel is located in a residential neighborhood and is relatively close to historical sites. There is a metro station about half a mile, but taxis are your best bet […] if you have luggage or come back to hotel late or with children. The staff is polite but not very efficient. We had two reservations, the first one for a two-nights stay and the other one for a one-night stay. We decided to just stay two nights and cancel the third (one-night stay reservation). We asked the staff about it and they told us if we cancel 24 hours before the third day, we will not be charged. Therefore, we did cancel and left. When we returned, we found that we were charged for the third night as well. That means either someone lied to us or someone did not do his/her job. Les mer

the hotel is cozy and warm, not as normal 5 star hotel, it has no big lobby but reasonable size, the lifts are really small, the room is elegant and comfortable, and the distance to Metro is ok, convenient to go to city center, only 2 stop away, and 1 stop to Kononaki- chic area of Athens

GREAT HOTEL,

I spent just one night at the Stratos Vassilikos, and was impressed. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room pleasant, and the food in the hotel restaurant good (it was open late on a Sunday night which I appreciated as well). It is about a 10 minute walk to the nearest Metro station through a pleasant neighborhood, and from there a short 3 stop […] journey to the tourist sites at the center of old Athens. Very nice hotel, clean and neat; complimentary large buffet breakfast; 2 blocks from direct airport bus or metro; all at reasonable price.

I can't praise this hotel enough. The room was spectacular, the staff extremely attentive, the wi-fi was free, and there was a complimentary buffet breakfast that other hotels would have charged 15 euros for.

Très bon souvenir. L’hôtel est très bien situé à proximité du boulevard Vassilis Sofias et proche du métro. Les chambres sont grandes avec de belles terrasses et les salles de bain spacieuses.La literie est de très bonne qualité. La moquette mériterai cependant d'être changée. Petit déjeuner copieux. Bonne prestation pour un prix raisonnable.

Recomendo esse hotel. Próximo do metrô e do centro de Atenas (bairro de Plaka e Acrópolis), são 3 estações de metrô. Táxi é barato em Atenas, bem diferente das outras cidades europeias, o problema é que poucos taxista falam inglês. A equipe do hotel fala inglês muito bem e estão sempre prontos para ajudar com roteiros, reservas, passeios e etc. O café […] da manhã é básico, mas é bom. Muito bom o hotel, principalmente, no que tange o atendimento dos seus colaboradores. No queisito localização, deixa a desejar, já que no seu arredores é um pouco esquisito e ficando 1050 metros da Estação do metro.

Mi estancia en el hotel coincide con la temporada alta de turismo en Atenas. Me he alojado en este hotel 2 noches para coger al dia siguiente el avión de ida y de vuelta a la isla de Rodas. El hotel está bien comunicado. La parada de metro más cercana está a unos 10 minutos (Megaro Moussikis). También está muy bien comunicado con el autobús del aeropuerto […] (X95). La parada de autobús "MAVILI" está en una calle paralela al hotel y a 5 minutos andando. El autobús vale 5 euros el viaje y si se lo pides al conductor te avisa al llegar a la parada. Este hotel es tranquilo. La zona es buena, a pocas paradas de metro del centro y da la sensación de ser una zona segura. La relación calidad precio es buena. Les mer

The hotel is about 10 minutes easy walk from the Metro and another further two stops or so to the centre. However, the hotel is nice and we got a room facing the back so very quiet at night. Breakfast is very good and I would def recomend the hotel The metro stop is on the same line as the airport

Ihan ok perushotelli, mutta taso ei todellakaan vastaa Suomen viittä tähteä. Kylpyhuoneemme katossa oli hometta, muuten huoneisto siisti. Aamiainen oli riittävän monipuolinen, kahvi ja appelsiinimehu maultaan erinomaisia. Kylpyhuoneessa oli ihanan tuoksuista shampoota ja suihkugeeliä. Lähimmälle metropysäkille on noin 10 minuutin kävelymatka.

Mycket artig, hjälpsam och serviceminded personal. Underbar frukostbuffé. Tillgång till trådlöst internet överallt. Rent och fräscht överallt. Lite hårda sängar. Läget OK men en bit från centrum. Ändå bra för lugnt och skönt och bra ljudisolerat trots läget vid trafikerad gata.

Muito bom hotel, bem localizado , limpo , serviço excelente. Recomendo a todos.

Prisvärt hotell med kanonbra service. Sängen var lite för hård för min smak. Kvarteren runtomkring var inte särskilt spännande och det var ca 10 min promenad till tunnelbanan.

Hotel confortevole con un buon servizio. Spettacolare la prima colazione, ottima con un servizio impeccabile. Se proprio devo trovare un difetto alla struttura lo vedo nella camera matrimoniale, un pò piccola. Per noi è andata bene perchè il soggiorno è stato di una notte

Avons passé deux nuits dans cet hôtel. Accueil agréable. Service sans reproche. Excellent petit déjeuner. A recommander !!!

Ne vaut pas un 5 étoiles, mais un bon 4 étoiles surtout pour le petit déjeuner gargantuesque.

Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν αρκετά μακρια από την στάση του μετρό ώστε η μεταφορά των αποσκευών ήταν κουραστική. Ήταν πολύ καθαρό και η εσωτερική διακόσμηση του χώρου υποδοχής αλλά κια των διαδρόμων (αντί για μοκέτα υπάρχει ξύλινο δάπεδο) δεν ήταν συνηθισμένη. Όμως το δωμάτιο δεν είχε ωραία διακόσμηση και η συσκευή της τηλεόρασης ήταν παλιά. Τέλος το πρωινό […] δεν είχε καθόλου ποικιλία και ήταν πολύ συνηθησμένο. Νομίζω γενικά ότι αντιπροσωπεύει ξενοδοχείο 4 και όχι 5 αστέρων. Les mer

The hotel is in good shape. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Location is OK but not great - about 7 min walking to the metro. Internet price was great for a 5 star hotel.

Hotel al di là delle aspettative. Pulizia ottima. Camere ampie e confortevoli con un bagno ampio e fornito di tutto. Struttura Elegante e colazione a Buffet che spazia dal dolce al salato in quantità considerevole. Frutta fresca, succhi, pane fresco...insomma si può arrivare tranquillamente a sera senza pranzare..... a 200 m la metrò che in due fermate […] ti porta in pieno centro. Personale gentilissimo. Il prezzo pagato è a mio parere per il servizio dato, modesto . Les mer
