Holiday Inn St Louis Airport - St. Louis

Free parking, free wi-fi, nice restaurant located inside the hotel. My only complaint is that I needed to check out really early (3am) and there was no one at the front desk to help me. I waited for 15 minutes before I finally left and just called them back later. Other than that, it was a decent stay.

The place was great for us. It was cheap from hotels.com, it was a clean room and there is an outdoor pool and its close to the airport and pretty much close to anything in st louis, 30 min drive at the most and we went all over. The ONE complaint i have that other people have made in this hotel's review is that there was a tad bit of noise. I dont […] mean like a block party was going on, on our floor but sometimes the housekeeping people in the halls that were talking to each other or other guests talking and walking by our door could be heard loud and clear (but that only happened a few times.) Two areas that could use improvement: # 1. Being a woman who uses face make-up, the lighting in your bathrooms need to be brighter. # 2. My airline traveling friends told me St. Louis was known for great BBQ ribs. If your restuarant is not able to cook them until the meat practically falls off the bone, then please don't have on your menu. Mine were […] almost "not cooked", with meat hard to chew off the bone. very nice hotel,very small pillow on bed.Breakfast was great.

Make yourself a favor and go somewhere else. The front desk people are very rude, making you feel like you bother them if you have a question. We ask about 3 things and they gave us 3 wrong direction. At least, the bartender and the shuttle driver were friendly.

Everything was as it should have been. Even the fitness center was huge and had great equipment, especially compared to most other hotels in this price range. Very clean. Refrigerator, temperature control, and high-speed internet.

We stayed here at the beginning and end of an exhausting trip (to a funeral) and were grateful for all the little accommodations (crib, different pillows, etc.) and the helpfulness of the staff. Very quiet. Room service was tasty. Nice hot breakfast. Just around the corner from the rental car pick up/return.

The hotel stay was fine, just stayed the one night. Very convenient to print off our plane tickets in their coffee room. It was great that we could park in their lot, the only problem, we had to call 3 times to try and get someone to pick us up, for the 5 minute ride back to the hotel for our car. nice location with easy access to airport and interstate system but a dark, dreary place that seems to be stuck in the 1960s

Wonderful hotel. Very busy. We had an early flight and next door was a flight crew member that was on the phone complaining about something loudly until 11pm and then other male female noisy activities until 1am. Will return again but seems many flight members stay there. Overall great hotel. Imagine single incident.

The hotel was nice and clean, it is a short drive from downtown and right across from the airport.

The rooms were very clean but fairly small. The same goes for the bathroom. Overall this hotel is perfect for a 1 night stay before flying out.

This hotel was cleaner and better than any other we have booked through Hotels.com for St. Louis. The only thing bad I could say is maybe the air conditioning wasn't cold enough but everything else was wonderful. Thank you!

My only complaint is the service of the maids! I overheard them arguing in the hallway! Apparently they were out of towels that another guest needed and the entire floor knew about it. The "housekeeping" arrived knocking on doors at 8:00am one morning...I could hear her knocking on all the other guests doors. Very very annoying!! Do not try to go there […] for relaxation! Another morning the same thing knocking early asking for "owsekeeping"!! Les mer

hotel was ok, except it was noisy, the walls are very thin we had a crying baby next to us, that we could hear crying all night, pool was nice, the water in the shower was messed up and it kept switching from hot and then would go cold, but a very average stay.

Great room! Comfortable bed! I highly recommend this room to individuals that are traveling.

This hotel needs upgrade on everything. This hotel is nothing compared to other Holiday Inns I've stayed at. The carpet is old and dirty, and there's no ice machine on the floor we stayed in. What's up with the hotel's front entrance, it is so narrow. The only thing that's good is the free parking but otherwise I'll go back to Hilton where we always […] stay even if we have to pay for parking. Les mer

It was just one night my daughter and two grandchildren were leaving the next morning for Germany going for three years. The kids got to go swimming and wind down a bit after rushing around for days in an attempt to get ready for this new experience. We had a nice relaxing evening and all slept well. I selected this hotel based upon its' location to the airport, free shuttle, rate, and on-line photo's. As the adage says, you get what you pay for. When I checked in, the staff acted as they were doing me a favor and offered little to no help. I was informed I could park, "somewhere's out back, but only in designated spots", unfortunately, there was […] no designation between long term parking and overnight guest parking, so I found the nearest light and parked there. I attempted to get the room I requested, but instead found myself in an ash-tray for a room, even though it was clearly marked non-smoking and had in fact been cleaned. I requested another room, and all they had left was a handicapped king with a filthy shower, and defunct shower head. The restaurant and lounge are really one big room, and are not represented well by the photo's online. I had one beer, looked at the menu and went to the steaakhouse in a large hotel down the street. I was informed that the shuttle ran like clockwork, every 20 minutes from the front of the hotel, and if I needed, I could make a "reservation" to ensure my position on the shuttle. My flight was later in the morning, so I made a reservation for 10, but after the prior evening, I decided to forgo breakfast at the hotel and grab a bite at the airport. When I arrived at the front desk to checkout, the woman looked at me and asked "don't you know you can do that from your room?" and proceeded to shuffle papers with a confused look on her face. I informed her that I needed a receipt, she huffed and then proceeded to print my offending receipt. I stood in front of the hotel, actually, next to the shuttle for 20 minutes waiting for the uber-efficient transportation to take place. Finally, the "driver" came out of the hotel and asked if I was waiting on the shuttle. He proceeded to offer no help with the luggage and then complained the entire trip to the airport about how overworked and underpaid he was. Les mer

The only thing I can complain about is (1) the tub stopper did not work; water would not stay in the tub when taking a bath and when taking a shower water did not drain out. (2) The refrigerator did not work, put water and soda in the refrigerator and did not get cold. (3) Never set the alarm on the clock but it kept going off during the night. Everything about the hotel was great, however when we woke up, there was water all over the table in the room. It must have leaked from the room above. The water soaked a laptop computer, a pair of shoes, and some other luggage.

No complaints except a little over what I expect the price to be at this level.

After reading reviews for hotels near the St Louis airport I decided to take some reviewer's advice and not go with the cheapest hotel I could find. For a few dollars more I chose the Holiday Inn. The room was clean and fresh, as were the halls, elevator, and lobby. Nice roomy bathroom, sink with counter, clean tub with nice quality shower head. A real […] bonus was that I could leave my car in their parking lot for $8 a day. Their airport pick-up / drop-off shuttle runs continuously but you can also call the hotel to check the schedule. This hotel was older and in need of some work. It was decent and met my needs since I was only staying there one night after flying in late, but I wouldn't stay there again. There are many other hotels near the airport for the same price or cheaper that are much nicer and friendlier.

I'ts very convenient and accommodating to early morning fleights out of Lambert AND it has a shuttle to take you to your airline check in. Sooo much easier to park and leave the car at the hotel. Upon return, the shuttle driver took us to our car and loaded the trunk with out baggage!!!!

I had a really good time while I stayed there. On one of the days, a friend and I had a little too much fun the night before so the room was extra dirty. The housekeper came by and we told her we didn't need the service. At 3pm, I went to the front desk to get some trash bags and a broom but the front desk attendent sent the housekeeper and she cleaned […] my room for us. Every hotel I have stayed at never did what these people did. I plan on coming to stay there all the time :) Les mer

It's not a bad hotel, but there is nothing to eat nearby. It's biggest perk is that it's right by the airport.

We had to be at Lambert by 7:15am and return our Alamo car. The hotel is 50 feet from the driveway to Alamo/National car return. The actual car check-in took 3 minutes the shuttle bus was waiting. We were at Lambert within 10 minutes of leaving the hotel. The hotel was a clean nice waypoint on our trip.

Only stayed overnight but would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Wish that I had the option to pay by cash but was told that by booking through hotels.com I didn't have that option. Staff was VERY friendly & helpful! Restaurant was too pricey & that was with the "Kids Eat Free" promotion & 2 adult breakfasts. Very clean & would stay here  […] again! Les mer

Toilet in room wouldn't flush. Called front desk, they sent someone up with a plunger, but it wasn't clogged up. Tried to explain to the guy it was something with the water filling apparatus, but he wouldnt listen to me. He said he fixed it, but still took 3 MINUTES for each flush to complete. In room refrigerator smelled like something died in it, […] the maintenance guy said he didn't smell anything, even though all four people staying in the room about gagged when we opened it. He offered to "spray" something in it, we said never mind, we won't use it. Dirty bathroom overall, tiles cracked and run-down, yet it said it was recently renovated. Only good thing was the airport shuttle to the airport! Les mer

Room was very clean, bathroom was large and lots of towels. Had a room next to the pool and it was very quiet. The only complaint is that the staff was not so friendly. It would have been great to have a smiling face and good attitude from those at the front desk.
