Et fantastisk charmerende sted med en fin frokost og hyggeligt samvær med andre gester. Kan varmt anbefales hvis du ønsker en ekstra oplevelse i Savannah. Er beliggende meget sentralt.

All perfect, except housekeeping that was a disaster. I had two connecting rooms, and had left one pice of cloth on one of the four beds. Housekeeping left a nice note on the bed that they were not allowed to move private items so the room could not be cleaned. First time I have experienced such an attitude.

Helt OK, og rimelig hotell ett lite stykke utenfor gamlebyen i Savannah. Hotellet holder en helt grei standard, men med noe gretten betjening. Hotellet ligger ca 15 minutters kjøretur fra gamlebyen i Savannah. Så om du som oss bare skal innom en dag for å se på severdigheter og være turist ville jeg nok anbefalt noe som ligger litt nærmere! Men for all del et greit hotel!

We are wery pleased with the service at this hotel. The reseption clerks was always friendly and helpful if we had any question. The room started to becom a bit worn, but a cheap prise compensate for this. In addition to this, the hotel is wery sentrally situated. I would definitive recomend this hotel.

"Horrible Customer Service"
Didn't like the idea of the being spit cup in our room that had mold growing in it. There was cheetos on the floor. One of the lady at the counter needs to take a lesson on what customer service is. I wouldn't stay here again. I am actually surprised at reading other reviews with positive feedback, some people must have low standards.
"Not too special - photos are misleading"
I was underimpressed with my stay. Firstly - the renovations that were done were obviously done on the cheap. Secondly - this location was not all that great - yes there are stores right there, but they are all terrible cheap touristy stores. I would not come back to this hotel, or this area on HH.

for a newly remodeled hotel, it was poorly remodeled. very flimsy furniture, no microwaves in hotel room. luckily the hotel was right near a mall. ate there not at hotel. also hotel had all these rules regarding guests, but many people at the pool were not guests since the poublic has access to the Tiki hut bar and the beach is public. would not recommend […] staying there Les mer

Awesome hotel and surroundings... a simple standard room had a memory foam mattress (nice!), the staff were friendly, even had a tiki bar right on the beach! Nice pool too! Highly recommended... we will be returning soon!

"Extremely disappointed"
Hotels.com overbooked the hotel. The front desk acted as if Hotels.com was the "enemy" and cast blame on them and my family for overbooking. Very rude service. We did get placed in a room that evening, only to find dirty soiled linens in our bathroom - housekeeping had gone for the day and we were told there was nothing they could do about it until […] the next day. The manager the following day did move us, apologized profusely, and comped our breakfast. Overall the service from the front desk, to the wait staff was absolutely a disappointment. After we secured the room at $$$ per night (2 rooms for 2 nights each) we were told "i'm sorry, there is a $$$ per night additional charge" - Do hope this review helps improve hotels.com service as well as the hotel itself. We stayed a third night, but changed hotels to the Hyatt in Savannah - exceptional service, cleanliness and accomodations. Les mer

Great location on the beach. Breakfast voucher was a new process for the hotel. $20 extra for breakfast in room rate became a $20 credit towards breakfast. Other than that little hiccup, the stay was really nice.

"fantastic location. great potential"
I read a lot of crap reviews and understand some to some extent. The hotel was under construction and when booking the staff 'make you aware of it. I arrived on the 21st and heard the poor staff behind the desk getting lambasted by a number of customers as she tried to do anything to satisfy the customer to no avail. Yes this hotel is under construction […] but it doesn't effect anyone staying there. The staff is probably the best I have ever seen in any hotel, and I travel a lot for business and pleasure. Construction is almost finished and it is going to be one of the nicest hotels in HH. Les mer

under renovation and didn't know until we got there. workers constantly in the way of heavily trafficed areas. rooms were great once we got there. plus they charge a resort fee now because of the renovation even though the hotel is under construction and you cant really enjoy the amenities of the hotel

VERY NICE LOCATION. HOTEL WAS UNDER RENOVATION, BUT WAS STILL FUNCTIONAL. LOOKING FORWARD TO STAYING WHEN ALL THE RENOVATIONS ARE COMPLETED,
Good location. Hotel under renovation. Should not even have been open. Hotel was not secure. Only the fifth floor was open for guests but anyone could enter at night and have unfettered access to the entire five floors. Renovation worsens hip was shoddy in the rooms.

"Pardon Us While We Renovate"
We were amazed. The lobby destroyed, the parking lot stinking of tar, the restaurant and pool closed, only part of the 5th (top) floor available. We passed through a messy hallway, but when we got to our room, it appeared that we were the first guests ever to use it. Everything about it was spiffy, and up-to-date. And the price was right.

I normally give all Holiday Inns the most excellent ratings possible, but unfortunately I happen to catch this Holiday Inn under construction. They were working on all parts of the hotel and the elevators and every floor had something being done. The rooms were outdated to include not having flat pane tvs. I wish they would have warned me about the […] remodel, I probably would have stayed somewhere else this time. Les mer

Great location and very friendly staff. The hotel is under renovation which eventually will be a plus but for us, it meant an early Sunday morning wake-up to hammering, drilling, etc. Our romantic get-away lost a little of its romance.
"too old for comfort"
This hotel was a complete disapointment for the island. It smelled, was old and outdated, and the worst was the aiir unit in our room had a huge draft that was so cold it was throwing the thermostat reading off so the heat kept coming on. In the morning I wondered if the hotel had been flooded many times and needed to be closed. "Dirty, noisy place"
While this hotel is located very conveniently, my room was dirty, the a/c was stuck on 63 degrees and every time it (and the surrounding rooms) cut off, it made a loud boom noise. This place desperately needs a makeover and management that cares.
It was a nice motel and the staff was very helpful. I was expecting some reduce services because it was off season, but to close the restaurant totally without including the information before arrival was not right. The gift/snack shop had four cans of soda and two ice cream bars available.

The restaurant was open....but under new ownership and they did not have a 'liquor' license yet.....couldn't serve drinks at all....no sign up saying that....no notice when I checked in of this. It was too cold/windy for the outside bar to be open in the evening.....I will now always ask before booking for a few days in a new lodging.

"Unexpected Charges"
I was VERY surprised and not happy with finding out I had to pay an additional $39.80 for parking. That wasn't in the deal when I used hotel.com. I also noticed that other guests were receiving a daily morning paper at their door. Not me. I did ask for a "smoking room". Didn't get it.
Last minute,one night get away: Although, it was a rainy day at the beach, my husband and I enjoyed the comfortable bed, pillows and a good night sleep. The room was not an oceanview room, but we had a great side view of the beach.

"great stay, location to local resteraunts"
the Location was exellent for a evening to relax and have a great meal. will definitely come back. The best part was not having to crank up my car to go eat or shop all within walking distance. The only bad thing is the car that i parked next to when i got there was immediatley cranked and when it moved i immediately smelled pot, but other than that […] it was fabulous. Les mer

Everything was clean except my sheets were stained on the second evening. They had a red stain on them right under wear someone would be laying. This is the second Holiday Inn I have stayed at in 2 weeks and both hotels had stained linens. I will never stay in this hotel again. They also did not put toiletries in the bathroom. Overall, this hotel is in a great location-Close to all the shops and within walking distance of many restaurants/stores. The local beach access draws more people than I expected, but the beach was beautiful. Unfortunately, we were there in August when the Jelly Fish were stinging very badly. We didn't spend a lot of time in the water, but we enjoyed […] the pool. I liked that the pool was open late, and you could even swim after the pool was supposedly closed. None of the hotel staff said much to discourage it. Did not try the restaurant, but we loved the Tiki Bar and the live music. Les mer

The hotel was in much better shape as to the cleanliness as compared to the previous year. Hotel is still somewhat dated as to furnishings. Had a little trouble with having enough towels and apparently they ran out of lotion, but no big problem.

I love the Holiday Inn Coligny Plaza. We have gone the past 5 years in September for that last piece of summer. I cannot think of a better place to say goodbye to summer. Everything is beautiful and the staff is wonderful.

Great location - close to restaurants and shopping; great facility - nice pool and bar by the beach. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Only complaint would be that the temperature in the halls was too warm, especially on the first floor. Don't know if they were having a/c problems or what.
