Not comfortable with the service. Price was definitely not worth it. Will not be staying there again.
I paid extra on my room charge to get breakfast in the morning but was told I still needed to pay the hotel to eat. Needless to say I didn't get what I paid for so never pay for your breakfast through Hotels.com.
Water pressure for hot water in shower was HORRIBLE.

The hotel was easy to find, park and register. Easy distance from Texas Tech campus and other event centers in Lubbock. Walmart and restaurants close as well.
Friendly staff, convenient location, VERY well kept hotel. Will definitely stay again on next trip to Lubbock.

A room with 2 queen or double beds was reserved, but they said only a King room with a fold-out sofa was available. There were no sheets or pillows for the sofa bed. Housekeeping did not replace dirty towels or ever bring sheets or pillows for the sofa bed.
The staff accomodated our family in everyway possible. We werent able to check in at 4 but they did what they could to make up for it including letting us check out at a later time. Great staff and clean room.

"Holiday Inn Lubbock - Hotel Towers"
Everybody was very friendly and willing to help. The main issue i had was the condition of the room. The door lock had to be wrestled with to open and the shower never drained. Also some vending machines don't work and steal money.

This is the worst hotel I've stayed at in the last 30 years! They gave my asthmatic son a smoking room (he had an attack that night!). The carpet stuck to my feet... the shower, toilet and sink were all uncleaned from the past residents... The room had the smell of food that has been left in the room overnight! The next day I complained and they promised […] to move us to a better room. The next room was no better! To add insult to injury, the new room was next to the bar! Horrid hotel! Les mer
"Very Disappointed"
I paid Hilton prices and ended up with a Motel 6 quality room. I couldn't have been more disappointed.

The room was way too expensive for the quality of the hotel. No complimentary breakfast. The airconditioner didn't work and the water pressure was very low. I would not recommend the hotel to anyone at the price we paid for it.
Room rate was expensive considering the age of the hotel. Service was excellent and breakfast buffet was good (around $8 per person if you don't have Hotels.com room and full breakfast deal). My room gave me synus problems and the carpet needed to be vacuumed in places - I could spot pieces of broken glass on it with the naked eye. Bathroom was clean […] though. Les mer
OVER ALL OUR STAY WAS WONDERFUL.THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS WHEN WE LEFT ON SATURDAY FOR A BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT IN TAHOKA, CAME BACK AND OUR ROOM WAS HALF CLEANED.

Very nice, but a bit pricey for our needs. Room very clean, service very good. No complaints at all except for the price. Texas Tech graduation and it was all I could find with decent ratings a month+ ahead of time. Everything was full. Everyone probably jacks up the rates at this time each year.

Always thinking that this should be a great place to stay, and easy access to the hospital, where i was to have surgery the next day, we got a room. Upon arrival, we were suppose to have a smoking room, but they didn't have us booked in one... Did get that changed, thankfully. Got to our room, unloaded and was about to get settled in, we went over to […] the tiny kitchenett, and the sink was full of dirty dishes! YUCK!! We called to get another room, with a simple "Ok". So, we packed up our things, that we had just unpacked, and moved 2 doors down, where the man told us, he had already checked this room out and it was clean to inspection. ONLY, upon entering the new room, he did leave behind a Very foul odor, and evidence that he had used our restroom before we got moved into our diff room!! Ok, already a nervous wreck from having to have surgery the next day,... this just really didn't settle good with me!! But we stayed in this room anyway, d/t it being late, and wanting to try to relax and unwind down before tmrw's surgery. You would think a hotel like this, would have at least upgraded their TV's!! Poor quality and poor picture. Not to mention,... when i went to 'just review' a movie, before purchasing it,... you only have like 5 seconds to get out of that option or you'll end up buying a $15.00 movie before you know it!! LUCKILY, i was reviewing a good movie, because before i knew it, it was purchased! I have never had that issue in a hotel before! Normally, you can read about the movie, and then have the option to select rent. BUT NOT HERE! other than that, the bed was cumfy, aside from very thick pillows, and my wonderful sister who had come along with us for my surgery, slept on the pull out sofa, only to have no linens in the room and to wake with marks of the railing in her back! :( I've never written a review about a hotel before, but i felt this one needed to be done.... "Dirty Room"
For the cost of this room it was not cleaned very well. When we checked in there was hair on the bathroom wall which was gross. The bathroom was just dingy looking like it needed to be remodeled.

The food service was great but the food was not. The salad bar had brown and rotting vegetables. The tv did not work. The shower did not either. I could do without the tv but the morning shower was missed.

ON THE DATE OF AUGUST 20,2010 I HAD RESERVATIONS AND A LATE CHECK IN ON OR ABOUT MIDNIGHT. IT WAS EASY WITHOUT COMPLICATION NOR DELAY. THE ROOM WAS MORE THAN ADEQUATE IN CLEANLINESS, APPEARANCE,AND COMFORT. I PERSONALLY TRAVEL FOR A LIVING PROFESSIONALY. I AM EMPLOYED BY THE BNSF RAILROARD AS A TRAINMAN. HALF OF MY OVER 30 YEAR CAREER HAS BEEN SPENT […] IN VARIOUS MOTELS IN NUMEROUS CITIES. IF I COULD AND FELT COMPELLED TO FIND ANY ERROR IT WOULD BE NO MICRO FRIDGE IN ROOM. I NEVER REALIZED THAT IN 2010 A ROOM COULD BE LET WITHOUT ONE. OVERALL THE PLACE IS RIGHT FOR THE MINIMAL COST. BY NO MEANS WAS I DISPLEASED BECAUSE I BROUGHT A COOLER. I SUPPOSE I COULD HAVE HEATED MY FOOD ON THE SIDEWALK ON THAT HOT AUGUST TEXAS DAY. BY THE WAY I ALMOST FROZE TO DEATH AND THAT WAS GREAT. MUST I REALLY SAY MORE. Les mer

I realize this is Lubbock TX in the summer time, but I can't abide cockroaches. I watched 4 of them scuttle into the room next door, and I spent all night wondering where mine where hiding.

I booked my hotel with hotels.com and paid with my credit card. When I checked in they took my Credit Card just in case I had sevices billed to my room. They did not tell me they were going to take out $64 on my card and put a hold on it. Three days later I still have the hold on my card.
"A bit pricey for the amenities"
The hotel was average - nothing fancy. No microwave or refrigerator. Clean and functional, but for the price I have stayed in much nicer places. The lock on our door did not work - luckily my husband had locked the top lock - we had a very loud drunk person try to come into the room at 4 a.m.
"Too Expensive"
Although a nice hotel, it was a bit pricey--the price didn't justify the quality of the room. There were no room microwaves or refrigerators and I've had these in far cheaper hotels.

"Good, but not great!"
First things, I booked a king bed, but had to settle in for a double die to overbooking. The shower in our room had very poor draining and water pressure that felt like a sandblaster. Or television had much to be desired with very poor reception and not the best channel selection unless your a sports fan!
