Perfekt beliggenhet, flott utsikt fra taket, sjarmerende rom, fine bad. Strålende fornøyd!

Vi var i alt 7 venner i Roma og alle hadde en fantastisk opplevelse. Hotellets fasiliteter og service er helt topp. Fantastisk utsikt over Forum fra frokost-/spisesalen, samt toppterrassen. God frokost hver dag inkludert, veldig serviceinnstilt personale og daglig rehold av rommene var alt førsteklasses.

The rooms are a little tired but you can't beat the location and the view! Breakfast overlooking the Roman Forum.. priceless..

The hotel is superbly placed being with 200yds of the Colleseum. The decor is very traditional and it has a roof top restaurant that is ver impressive. However, the bathrooms need completely refurbishing with showers with curtains! Ceaser may have been impressed but times have moved on! The biggest issue we had with the hotel was the cost of the bar. […] 50 Euros for 4 drinks!!! You have been warned and we drank up and went to a restaurant just around the corner for a quarter of the cost. Summary - Good location and eating view but dissapointing for the money. Les mer

Overlooking the ancient forum. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. the only problem was the lighting in the room and bath was low. everything else was excellent

DO NOT STAY HERE! 1. Bed bugs. Yes, bed bugs at a 4 star hotel. 2. The in room air conditioning did not work and the staff didn't care. 3. Rude staff. No, I was not rude and it wasn't cultural. Yes, I speak Italian. 4. Extremely small rooms, even by Italian standards. 5. Run down. The hotel hasn't been updated in probably 50 years. 6. Very loud street […] noise, even with the windows closed. The hotel is in a great location, but there are plenty of other options nearby that are less expensive, with air conditioning and larger rooms. Had a lovely weekend in Rome staying here. The hotel is right next to the Forum and a stone's throw from the Collisseum so perfect for those, whilst also being really close to the rest of the hub of the city (so an easy walk to anywhere). The rooms were a bit small and a little dated but then that's why it's cheaper! Service was great, and rooftop bar […] was lovely. Les mer

Hotel a little old fashioned but clean. Our family room consisted of two bed rooms and two bathrooms. Very convenient as we are a family of five with children aged 17, 13 and 10. AC in kids room ok but not working great in our room. Continental breakfast on the terrace was good and the views magnificant. This Hotel very convenient location, quiet comfortable, reception desk staff efficient but not very friendly Resturant staff almost rude.

the Forum Hotel as called overlooks the Forum, is well situated but if you have a car 40 euro for over night parking has determined I will never stay here again !!!!!!

Wonderful experience from the moment we arrived. The fifth floor dinning was a five star experience. The continential breakfast was incredible. View from the hotel is breathtaking. Only one problem,, internet service was poor. They feed would break from time to time. Over all we loved the Hotel and will stay there again.

A good hotel, old fashioned decor and a bit dingy with the lighting but very clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful especially with making reservations and getting taxis. Great location, right next to the forum ruins, taxi ranks, bus stops and metro close by. Breakfast was the usual continental fare, a bit overloaded with cakes […] and not enough fresh fruit but was fine otherwise with fantastic views from the rooftop restaurant. A rather complicated lift arrangement for our floor which appeared to be a mezzanine floor. We had to take a lift to the 2nd floor and walk around the corner, up some steps and take another lift down a level to our floor which was a hassle for my elderly mother who was not very mobile. A bit noisy on Friday night because of a bar next door but this is inevitable because of central location. On the whole a great stay and would definitely stay here again. Les mer

Forum Hotel is a great location for ancient Rome sites - virtually all are within a 20 minute walk including the Colosseum which is about 3 blocks. Hotel overlooks the Roman Forum and is near many restaurants. About a 20 minute walk to the train station - or a five minute cab ride. The hotel is typical European with average room size and kind of small […] bathrooms - but who is going to Rome to hang out in a hotel room? Staff was pretty typical Italian - helpful but not over friendly. Breakfast was good - basic continental breakfast that gets the day started. The fact its free in important given our average meal for two in Rome cost 50 - 75 Euros. A conveniently overlooked by the hotel staff was a laundry facility about 5 doors away. They wanted to do our laundry for exorbitant prices in the hotel, but the laundry washed and dried for 8 euros per bag. Only reasonably priced thing in the whole country. lol Les mer

Good location access to sites and interesting back streets. Very nice lobby/lounge and roof top for breakfasts with view. Some disturbance from the road but not too bad. Helpful and very courteous staff.

This hotel needs a refurbishing. The price is way too high for what it offers. Location is good, but the state of rooms really old and badly furnished. should not have more than 3 stars. The terrace is great, but breakfast really disappointing for such a nice place. even the orange juice is not freshly squeezed in a country like Italy! needs a change […] in management to restructure such a nice location hotel! hotel is located right across the street from the forum - our room looked out over the ruins - just fantastic! beautiful old style hotel interior, staff friendly, and walking distance to everything!

We stayed in room 306 April 23-30, 2011. We were very happy. The air conditioning motor was noisy however. I would stay there again. Great rooftop restaurant with forum and coliseum views.

Hotel was superb! Great location with breakfast views of the Roman Forum and Colosseum a great way to start each day. Room was very comfortable. Personnel could not have been nicer. We had a wonderful 10 day visit to Rome.

The Forum Hotel was really nice and offered the amenities we were requiring. The location was perfect and allowed us to tour the city with ease. The restaurant (located on the roof) has views of the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Trajans Forum, and Victor Emmanuel Monument. Wouldn't have liked to stay anyplace else.

Out of the two places we stayed in Rome the Forum Hotel was my favorite. The staff was more than helpful, and the rooftop restaurant was amazing in service, food, and view. Our room was not grand but very clean. We had a room for 5 (young adults) that had two great bathrooms and we all slept very well. We were out around the city for most day, it was […] a very easy location to stop by drop things off, grab extra clothes or umbrellas. After a full day of sight seeing, shopping, drinks and dinner we would return for drinks at the bar before we retired, so it was perfect! The lobby was beautiful and again I state that the staff was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking in this price range. If we get the opportunity to return to Rome we will stay at the Forum Hotel. I give it my top approval and will recommend to all the friend and family that I can. At at time when Rome was very city and hotels rates for a 4* plus were over $400, the value of this hotel was good. However, as it compares to any other hotels we have stayed in Rome, it is is the lowest. From the moment we arrived there was not a word uttered that gave us a sense of being welcomed. The staff, in general, are very unfriendly....of course […] with one or two exceptions, and even those who were helpful were not worth remembering their names. Be careful if you are someone who is sensitive to good air conditioning. When we checked in we called the front desk as we thought the AC was not working in our room. After 3 hours someone came to check on the 2 units in the room. After looking at them less than a minute, he remarked this is the best they work. It was 77 degrees in the room. Les mer

This is our 5th time at this hotel. Super ! great location its next to the Old Rome off on side street ,its doesn't get any better ! Very well care for hotel nice rooms furnished well very clean! great breakfast on rooftop best view of old rome! Super staff! This hotel lacks wi-fi internet service and changes $18 day to log in lobby computer did not […] work.. we give them a big one star on this one. They other concern is there's a new irish pub across the way in the alley that is very loud after 11-12am another onestar on this we spoke to front desk and hope they can get this closed down . We recommend this hotel for the great staff wonderful setting and 5 star service except for the few noted item we hope they correct very soon! Les mer

Of the scores of hotels I've experienced around the world while traveling on business, Hotel Forum was among the worst in terms of customer service. I am well aware of the common brusque and/or impatient character of much hotel service, but service at the Hotel Forum was at times downright rude and condescending. No one should be treated with disrespect. […] The accommodations themselves were mediocre at best. Combined with the poor customer service, this hotel is one I would never return to or recommend to a friend. Les mer

Wonderful location and excellent roof terrace. Bedroom was not the biggest but nevertheless good, clean and comfortable. Well kept, well staffed hotel. Breakfast was not elaborate but was very good. A real pity the restaurant is far, far too expensive as we would have dined there.

Went last minute for a night in Rome. When they say its near the Collesium, its literally right out the window. Couldn't be closer to the Metro or a majority of the major sites. Very clean and good breakfast. They even gave me a drink coupon on arrival. Will def. go back!

Booked hotel last minute and was looking for something close to the Collesium. It doesn't get much closer than this. Excellent location, clean and safe hotel. Easy to walk to most of the major Rome sites from hotel within 20 minutes. Staff was nice, and rooftop breakfast was good as well. Even got a free drink at check in. Excellent location, with a wonderful view from the rooftop restaurant overlooking the Forum. Staff friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant. However, even taking account of the poor exchange rate, the quality of the food did not justify 150 euros for two 3-course meals + wine. The hotel is a prime location, 5 mins from Colloseum, and a 20 mins walk to trevi fountain. The restaurant is provides an excellent free (inc in room price) breakfast, although for evening meals you will find better quality and priced meals at many al fresco eateries. 콜롯세움과 포로 로마노 가까이에 위치한 호텔로 위치는 정말 좋은곳입니다 아침식사를 하는 옥상에위치한 식당도 좋았습니다 다만 체크인 하는데 더블베드 있는 방이없다며 우리 부부에게 싱글룸 두개를 내주어서 당황스러웠습니다 분명 일찌감치 더블 룸을 예약하고 갔었거든요. 결국 같은 체인의 다른 호텔서 자고 밥은 포럼호텔에서 먹는 헤프닝이있었습니다. 정확히 예약사항만 지켜준다면 좋은 호텔로 추천할만합니다

Hotellet är ganska slitet över lag. Frukosten är ganska klen och vill man ha t ex ett kokt ägg får man betala mycket för det. Fukostmatsalen på taket är det som är bäst med hotellet. Man har också nära till Colosseum och Forum om man värdesätter det. Skulle själv inte välja detta hotell igen utan något annat 4-stjärnigt som kanske lever upp till sina […] stjärnor! Les mer

Headline says it all

Hotel luxueux bien situé, Colisée à 200m idem pour le métro. L accueil sérieux est a votre service 24/24. Seul bémol en centre ville c'est bruillant l'isolation des chambres n'est pas a la hauteur. De plus les matelas un peu vieillot, donneront du fil a retordre pour les faiblards du dos.. Des détails par rapport a la situation geographique de l'hotel […] et aux panoramas qu'il offre sur son toit terasse...exceptionnel!! Les mer

My wife and I stayed for 4 days at the Hotel Forum and had a very nice experience. The location of the hotel is absolutely great - next doors to the Roman Forum and Colosseum. Rooms are nice and clean, good atmosphere in the hotel with an excellent restaurant on the top floor and open roof bar. Both the bar and the restaurant are a little pricey (yet […] worth the money for a romantic dinner) but there are numerous alternatives in the area around the hotel. Les mer

Hotellet er holdt i klassisk stil og hører absolut til de bedre hoteller ,har en meget central beliggenhed bl.a det antikke Rom og en meget høflig og venlig betjening som absolut modsvarer kategori 4 standarden.Hotellet har en fantastisk udsigt fra reastauranten og ikke mindst Roof baren hvor Paolo betjener dig med stil og elegance.
