"Great staff, very friendly"
Enjoyable, will stay there again
I was assigned a handicapped room which had shower arrangements that are not ideal for those not handicapped. I found the front desk staff to be great (pleasant and willing to answer questons) or awful (disinterested and unhelpful) depending upon who you spoke to. The location is within waling distance to downtown and right next to the convention center […] if that is important to you. Parking was a bit of a challenge due to activities being hosted in the area. The food and beverage venue was a bit strange as to ambiance but there were signs that it was going to be updated/renovated. Maid service was inconsistant. The windows do not open and A/C unit in room was loud.. Les mer
"Bathroom - great idea, poor execution"
Room was fine. Bathroom had a shower only (which I think all hotels should - who actually takes a bath in a hotel??) - however, the shower did not have a spill guard so water was all over the bathroom floor. That made it very annoying to get ready for the day standing in puddles of water.

"Wonderful Pool & Hot Tub area & Location"
I like this hotel. I've visited twice. It's clean. The pool area is nice. The scenery is nice. It's being updated. I would recommend everyone stay there at least once.

the 3 for hotel condition is related to the construction around the hotel grounds; otherwise good hotel, gread location, nice room, etc.
room had dirty socks in it... the bed was hard as a rock... They charge you to PARK at the hotel!!!!! The staff was nice though....

The Chop House had great food but the kitchen closes at 9 pm - so late arrivals need to make plans to eat elsewhere. There is not a place to eat walkable.

Our stay at the Holiday Inn World's Fair Park in downtown Knoxville suited us just perfectly. It is located right in the heart of Knoxville. We were travelling with our two golden retrievers who were graciously welcomed there as well. The room was well appointed with comfy beds and soft and firm pillows, designated as such. The shower was roomy and […] the flat screen TV had great HD. Had a view of the downtown area and the world's fair park was right out the door and worked out nicely with our dogs along. The hotel is now in a rennovation of the front drive and lobby area which was a bit confusing. The great thing about it was that a luggage dolly was available right at curbside to unload our car. Got a great night's sleep there. Also had a coffee maker and hair dryer in the room. Would stay there again! Les mer

I spent two nights at the Holiday Inn in Knoxville for an interview at the UTK campus. You can tell that the hotel was recently remodeled. The room was quite large and clean. The front desk staff were very helpful and provided me with several maps of the area and highlighted relevant locations. The shuttle was a great bonus as it will drop you off and […] pick you up within a three mile radius. I ate dinner and lunch in the hotel restaurant. It was quite empty, but the food was great. There were a couple of times that the front desk seemed understaffed but it wasn't that big of a hassle. Also, there is an amazing seafood restaurant right across the street from the hotel! Overall, I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. Les mer

"Hotel.com vs Holiday Inn"
We reserved 2 rooms. Upon arrival, Holiday Inn had only one reservation. They would not contact Hotels.com - so I had to call. Hotels.com gave me some numbers (different from our confirmation numbers) which I gave to Holiday Inn. That cleared it up. I was dismayed that Holiday Inn acted like they had no obligation to help me work out a dispute between […] Holiday Inn and Hotels.com - I was stuck in the middle. This is a very nice property. The upgrades are obvious and the desk personel are professional.
"Shuttle is superb"
The hotel was very nice and pretty conveniently located. What made the difference for our trip was the free shuttle. we were there ony a day and used it 4 times. The drivers were very helpful and extremely nice.
Nice hotel. Nice staff. Could not get the room warm enough though. Not sure the high tech card reader for the heater was working right. Took way too long to get the hot water flowinng.

This is the nicest Holiday Inn I ever stayed at! Right next to the Convention Center so very convenient. Also, easy walk to Market Square, UT and of course, the 1982 Worlds Fair Park with its beautiful waterfall, fountain and ampitheatre. The rooms were very nicely renovated and quite large.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We accidentally left a watch in one of the drawers inside our room. Checked with the staff the next day after checking out and they had recovered the watch for us. Overall a great hotel. Good parking for football too. Only a few minute walk from the stadium.

"Uncomfortable bed"
The hotel was beautiful and close to all attractions. The room looked great until I went to bed. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable I could not sleep. Upgrade the mattresses and the hotel would be perfect.

Gret Locationt to downtown and UTK. Staff was a little blah and dry. I would definitely stay here again due to the location, cleanliness and the "feel" of the hotel.

"Holiday Inn World's Fair Park -Knoxville"
We came to Knoxville to attend a football game between our U. of Montana and the Tennessee Vols. From the minute we drove up to the hotel to the minute we left we were taken care of so well. The room was on the 11th floor and had a view of the river and university campus. The beds were comfortable and the room was super clean. There was a small Happy […] Hour with good eats set up right off the elevator. Doug the bar tender was friendly and knew the city well. The next morning there was a brunch set up there and Robert took care of things A1. Our game was 2 hours late getting over and we arrived back at 11:30pm to find they had stayed open so had a nice dinner. I should mention it is an easy walk to the campus. The hotel shuttle ran all day with rides there or where ever you wanted in the downtown area. Every member of the staff had a smile and a greeting. I can't wait to go back to Knoxville and see more of the area and we will stay at the hotel again. Les mer

"Hotel Knoxville"
The room and staff were great! The only drawback I saw was that no time during my stay did anyone tell me I was being charged to park my car. So when I checked out I was surprised to see I was being billed 25.00 for parking for 2 days. Might want to be more open about this vs it being a hidden charge.

A great location, walking distance to UTenn. Parking cost $8.00 dollars a day. Also, there is a $25 incidentals fee held on your checking account for 3 business days. Nice staff, clean and safe!

Very nice rooms and friendly staff. Right across the street from the World's Fair Park and close to the convention center. Not very close to any bars, so expect to drive or take a cab.

"Nice hotel - very friendly staff"
Hotel was nice and clean. Great staff. Somewhat lack of many food options within walking distance. Would stay there again.

The stay was fine. The location was fantastice. The staff were great and very nice. But the bed we slept in was off of the metal frame, which put it at a slight angle. They basically needed to adjust one of the frame brackets out a little to get the bed to fit onto the frame, but instead someone decided it was easier to just have the bed sit off a little […] of the frame, which made the bed angle some. Because I was only concerned with sleeping at that point in order to get up early I didn't let the staff know. But this seems like something they should have handled already and not for the customer to have figured out. I'd give them 3 1/2 stars because of the great location. Mark Les mer
"Not expected"
When i checked in to hotel it was nice. We parked by hotel. Thought it wld be free... Not so much we had to pay 8.00 for parking on lot and they didnt tell me they were running my card for a $50. incadental. Mind you i dont mind the charge but they need to tell you ahead of time also the $8. for parking are you Kidding me i was very made about that. "stay here all the time"
This hotel is very convenient to downtown Knoxville, and located right next to the worlds fair park. We stay here every time we go to knoxville. On our last visit, the bellhop was quick to unload our cars, and give us a ride to our destination when we were running late! Thanks, and we will stay again.
"Great Improvements"
Hotel has turned eco-friendly, which is great except makes for a few odd changes, like having to use your key for the lights and air to work in your room. I found it amusing since Japan has been doing this 5 years ago. Really nice staff and great location.
Had a short one night stay, but very enjoyable. Great location to downtown and college. Newly renovated room very appealing decor. Relaxing, comfortable bed. Bathroom small but satisfactory. Great Staff. Room service was good. Would return again especially for the rate we paid.

"Great location"
The hotel was very easy to find, right off of I-75 and in a great location. It was my first trip to Knoxville to watch a UT game with my Dad and I couldnt have asked for a better hotel location. It only took us about 10 minutes to walk to Neyland Stadium on game day. The hotel clerks were very friendly, the room was clean, and the restaurant in the […] lobby was very good. The only complaint I have is the room smelled a little like cigarette smoke and I know that when I booked the room I asked for non-smoking...... and the price was a little steep. Other than that, everything was great! I will be coming back next season to watch another Vols game and I will be staying at this hotel. Les mer
"Perfect Location for Game Weekends"
This was a perfect location for Gameday. I was coming in from out of town for the Visitor's Team, and I will definitely recommend this Hotel to others, as well as use it myself in the future. It was a very inexpensive taxi ride to anywhere that you would need to go, and probably top 3 best Hotel experiences that I've ever had.

The hotel is situated perfectly between Market Square and the UT campus. Parking is awkward, but we were able to walk to everything, so that didn't matter except on arrival and departure.
