Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Mall of America - Bloomington

Helt ok hotell, men litt "slitent". Gangavstand til MOA, noe som var veldig praktisk. Hotellet har egen shuttle til MOA, men vi valgt bena. Tok 3 minutter å gå.

Hotellet ligger like ved Mall of America, og det er et unikt friluftsområde med vernet plante- og dyreliv i gangavstand fra hotellet som vi benyttet. Det går tog til sentrum som tar ca 30 minutter. Hotellets betjening var meget serviceinnstilt, og hele hotellet gir inntrykk av høy kvalitet. Dette er et hotell vi trygt kan anbefale til andre.

Den store fordelen med hotellet er at den ligger i gangavstand til Mall of America, og det betyr ogsaa at det er fin beliggenhet i forhold til offentlige kommunikasjoner for monorail og endel busser har holdeplass paa Mall of America saa en kan lett komme seg baade til sentrum av Minneapolis og flyplassen. VERY NICE BUT WHIRLPOOL WASN"T WORKING WHICH WAS A BUMMER.

It was pretty bad that the pool and hot tub were not working.

We flew in from Bismarck to shop for a wedding dress for our daughter, but my husband was sick the entire weekend. I caught your housekeeping staff working down the hall and asked if they could come right away to just give him some clean sheets to sleep in. My sis, a girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel the weekend of 4/21. The location was perfect and there was a shuttle bus that took us to the Mall of America (the reason we were there). My only complaint is that the shuttle only ran at the top of the hour, as we were delayed in our check out we missed the outgoing shuttle by 3 minutes and they would […] not adjust their schedule. Other than that, the shuttle driver was fine and it was nice to have a ride to the MOA and not have to worry about parking. Breakfast was complimentary and it was more than the normal cereal an juice. There was fresh fruit as well as waffles, eggs and breakfast meats. I would definately stay here again. Les mer

We were impressed with the comfort of the beds and quietness of the night! The hotel is near the airport, yet we slept without interuptions! The breakfast was fantastic, service outstanding, too! The shuttle to the airport was convenient....and the driver kind and helpful. Our first visit was grand and we highly reccommend this hotel to anyone!

We only had 2 issues: 1)Hotels.com agent told me I was booking a 1bedroom with 2King beds and a Sleeper. When we checked in, the hotel told me there is no 2king beds, just one king bed in a 1bedroom with a sleeper couch in living room. 2) shuttles to/from MOA were hourly and there is no specific designated pickup area just for Country Inn but for every […] hotel in the area. My complaint was that we sat in the cold bus stop for 30min and the people who showed up at the stop 2min before bus got seats and we who waited in the cold had to stand and almost did not get a ride at that round. the Driver was nice enough to offer to make another round 15min later but we all managed to fit in the van. The staff was friendly, the included breakfast every morning was wonderful and good. We were also happy to have free Wifi. The indoor pool was great since it was 40degrees outside, however there weren't any toys like beach balls. We liked that TGIF and IHOP were connected and we did not have to go outside the building to go there. MOA was even close enough that some people walked to Macys. Although Best Western was across the street from MOA, it was a much longer walk physically to get there. Les mer

Too close to the airport, the windows didn't open so by morning the room smelled, having four adults in there. The pillows were awful, nothing to them at all, and the bed was quite uncomfortable as well. Room was clean, staff nice, pool, restaurants and MOA proximity all great, but will never stay there again

Every room and the hallway smelled like smoke, bed was very squeaky and hard. Holes in wall and door.

Front desk staff were very nice and very patient. Two spas in the pool area were a nice addition. The food was standard for this sort of hotel for breakfast. The room with a seperate bedroom (king suite) was nice.

Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Pool was small. Convenient and very friendly.

If you are looking for a nice hotel near the Mall of America this is your place. Although not cheap, this hotel features first rate facilities and staff. An above average breakfast is included and the front desk folk are great. They do the little things right. The Mall of America is directly across the street, so you don't have to fool around with parking […] or shuttle buses. The adjacent TGIFriday's and IHOP are also a plus. Les mer

I've stayed in Country Inn Suites by Carlson Mall of America three separate times in the last few months and also stayed in one in Rochester. I have been very satisfied with the accommodations; the mattresses are not the most comfortable, but I really appreciate the WiFi access and the breakfasts....The one inconvenience is parking - several nights […] I have had to circle the parking lot over and over to find a spot and the fear of being towed if you park in one of the TGIF spots is not comfortable....I will certainly continue my stays at your hotels. With an IHOP and a TGI Fridays connected by walkway, mall of America across the street, two pools and hot tubs, and the airport minutes away, it's really hard to complain about this location. And the suites were very comfortable and spacious.

Check in as early as possible and don't leave, or be prepared to not get a parking spot. Every thing else was good, breakfast was great.

The convience of the hotel is great but the room we were in could use alot of updating.The shower was rusty and the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in.

Location was great! Room a little small with the sofa bed pulled out. Pool and hot tub were fabulous! Breakfast was also wonderful.

Hotel was wonderful..close to the Mall...comfortable bed..nice choices for breakfast...Friday's Restuarant right there, didn't have to walk outside...Everything we were looking for!! Will definitly stay again!!

This is the 3rd or 4th time that we have stayed at this location. It is perfect for anyone who is planning to go to the Mall of America. Being located directly across the street is great if you wish to walk or you can take the shuttle. The breakfast is great and a good way to save a few dollars for your shopping trip.

Everything was just good. Only thing is I didn't like is too dry air in the room.

We loved the location and amenities. Shuttle to MOA was great as well. Beds weren't as comfortable as home, but certainly pretty good for a hotel. Two pools and hot tubs were just perfect after a long day of shopping. No complaints from this traveling family.

This hotel was nice and clean - had a king bed suite. The hotel has an indoor pool and complimentary breakfast which was tasty. The location is perfect right across the street from Mall of America -- shuttle to the mall runs every hour. Also at the mall you can catch the train (metro link) to airport, downtown Minneapolis, etc. like we did to the Vikings […] game...making a stop right at the Metrodome. Les mer

We like to stay here before we travel because of the shuttle to the airport and proximity to the Mall of America. Everything was great except we were disappointed that they now charge for the park and fly services. Probably understandable though considering the tough economic times.

Stayed here many times. Great location, very helpful and friendly staff, everything top quality. Looking forward to going back!

Clean, comfortable, friendly.Decent breakfast.Very close to the mall...a walked to it on a nice day, but the shuttle is great too, especially when loaded down with packages. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and smelled fresh. We will definitely stay here again.

The glowing fireplace and Christmas decorations in the lobby put us in a holiday shopping mood. The TGIF restaurant attached to the hotel made it easy to enjoy an apres-shopping cocktail.

Thought the hotel was great. We found it very close to everything we wanted to do. Continental breakfast was absolutely the best I've ever seen.We thoroughy enjoyed our stay there.

This hotel was perfect! I went on a girls trip to Mall of America for 2 days and the hotel was a short walk from the Mall! The room was comfortable and plenty of room for the 4 of us! There was 2 hot tubs and 2 pools! And in the morning got a hot breakfast included with our stay! We could have asked for anything better! And it was reasonably priced […] as well! Stayed at the Country Inn for 3 nights in November. Booked a Jacuzzi suite in the bedroom, and ended up with a room on the 6th floor across from the elevators. Definitely not the greatest room location for booking the best room they have, as it was noisy with people coming and going from the elevator. Loved the jacuzzi tub. Room was always very clean. […] Also like the location, we walked to and from the Mall every day, walked to Bloomingdales and caught the train downtown, and even had appys and Drinks at TGI Fridays on night. Its perfect that TGI Fridays and IHOP are attached to the hotel. The comp. breakfast was super busy on the weekend we went so we actually only ate there once, as we couldn't even get close to the food the other days. We felt right at home at this hotel and it was very cozy. There is a fireplace, coffee and tea and hot cocoa mix as well as cookies in the lobby, which are great after a long day of shopping. I would recommend this hotel highly and would book here again and again.
