Store rene og flotte rom med god temperatur. Døgnåpen informasjonensdesk med veldig god service. God beliggenhet med gåavstand, samt taxi tilgjengelig til enhver tid. Lekker frokostbuffet! Spesielt godt fornøyd med lobby og barområdet hvor vi kunne samles et par timer på kvelden før vi gikk til hvert vårt rom!:):)

Hotellet lå svært sentralt, bare 150 meter fra Sheaperds Bush stasjonen, som ligger på Central line (den røde undergrunnen). Ved stasjonen ligger også Westfield, et stort, nytt handlesenter. Jeg hadde bestillt rom med to enkelsenger og da de ikke hadde det, fikk jeg oppgradering til et rom med kingsize seng. Rommet var stort og flott, nydelige badehåndklær og badekåper.

Veldig hyggelig lite hotell med god service. Veldig behjelpelige med bestillnger til restauranter. Deilig frokost.

From the reception staff onwards, very good service. Asked for a big room, got it; asked for a quiet room, got it, (even with a big reception downstairs), ALL staff seemed interested in solving a minor problem, The situation is excellent, You can always skip the breakfast and go to Fortnum's, for about the same price. Third visit to hotel. Excellent location. Very helpful and polite staff. VERY comfortable beds and pillows. Will visit again.
"Nice looking, and good location"
Beds/pillows were not comfortable, but the room and hotel overall were very nice. Be careful when booking, as the price we were quoted on our confirmation was not inclusive of VAT (even though it said it was) so when we checked in we were hit with an additional 20% on our stay. £20 per person for breakfast is a bit steep as well.

I have no idea how this hotel is rated as 4 stars hotel!.. first, the interior is really ugly, second the smell of the halls is more than bad.. third and the most important! the room is really dirty! i saw make up on the bed sheets twice, the lady who cleans is really annoying she never replace the shampoo and cream or the tissues.. everytime i have […] to call the reception and ask.. once i asked for towels they brought me dirty and damaged ones, it's like the've been used 1000 years ago.. i don't recommend the hotel at all, the best thing about it is the location! "The Washington Mayfair in central London"
My partner and I stayed there on our short break in the capital recently. The hotel's location is fabulous and we were really looking forward to the stay! We had the master suite which has its own private terrace and lounge. The decor is a little dated but the room was great, offering the space we desired for a comfortable stay! I would recommend this […] hotel, mainly due to its location, but would suggest it needs to pay a little greater attention to its service policy. We have stayed in many hotels and never have i walked away so annoyed before at the treatment of the person dealing with us at check-out. It may have been a fault of an individual and would not wish to do a disservice to all the staff, but, having paid a lot of money for the suite, a little touch of common decency would not have not astray!! "Great Location in Mayfair"
I have stayed at this hotel a number of times over the years. The rooms are dramatically nicer since they have been renovated. Make sure you ask for one of the renovated rooms, as I understand that they have not all been renovated. It is a good location, just off Sheppards Market in Mayfair.

I travel a lot and I can say that Washington Mayfair is one of the best I have stayed in. The staff is courteous and helpful and friendly (they got me ice for an ice pack at 3 in the morning!), the neighborhood is excellent, the decor of the rooms is tasteful, the beds are comfortable .. the entire stay was very pleasant. "The Washington Hotel - needs change of attiftude"
It stated out as a nice weekend to London and we decided to splash out on what seemed a nice hotel, From arrival, it was bad and wont be recommending. 1. Room not ready, 2. Random knock on door at 10am in morning, 3. Waiting 20 mins after they temporarily lose our bags......... 1. We arrived to hotel just after 2.15pm and our room was not ready!!! Not […] ready at 2.15pm that is bad. We were told it would be ready in half hour as the receptionist wanted to give us a lovely room. When we eventually got to our room, it was nice but I wouldnt say it was the best...bit on the dark side. 2. Remember this is a 4 star hotel. The next morning, the cleaner rang the doorbell (all rooms have doorbells) at 10am, when we were asleep. I called out 'someone in here' but they proceeded to OPEN OUR DOOR!!!! Do they not know which rooms people have already checked out of?!?! How difficult is that to do? The same thing happened at 11am, the doorbell again. When I opened it, all I could see was the cleaners trolley. Seriously..... what kind of operation is this. 3. The last thing was when they mislaid our luggage. We left our luggage with the concierge so we could stoll around London before catching train to airport. We came back at 2.45....firstly no one was at the concierge desk... when we asked reception to get our bags, he served with someone else first (she looked well-to-do, but thats not on) and then they couldnt find our bags!!! They asked us into the locker areas to help find them but they were in neither room, I honestly thought they were gone... I had kept passports with me (number 1 rule) and was willing to leave them behind but eventually they were located and it was a mad dash to train station. For the price we paid, I was expecting a lot more. Definitely wont be recommending this hotel. Les mer
I have been going to the Washington for over 20 years and they continue to have a staff of highly trained professionals at all levels of service to the customer. This starts at the front desk and extends to the cleaning people and all in between. I had some special requirements as result of an injury and the staff was very responsive and followed up […] without any prompting. Believe me I've traveled all over the world and if I could I'd move the staff from the Washington with me if I was able. Les mer

I have stayed at the Washington Mayfair several times, and it is okay, but there are better hotels not too far away, not necessarily right in Mayfair, for the same price range, that are much better. The service here is always good, but the rooms are starting to show too much wear, and smell of dampness badly, potentially a mold problem. Also, the room […] service food, although presented nicely, is not excellent and is a bit too pricey for what you get. So, in future, will elect to stay elsewhere, but might stay here in a pinch. If you're looking for an hotel that's centrally located in the heart of London and close to all the main tourist attractions - this is it. Just around the corner from Berkeley Square and 10 minutes walk from Regent St, Oxford St, Piccadilly & Buckingham Palace, it's a great location in a safe area. Room was well equipped and very nicely furnished. It […] was on the small side though - so if you're a couple who would appreciate a bit more room - it might be worth checking first. (My room may have been small because I was staying on my own). From a personal perspective, it was a bit of a squeeze and because of this I'd rate it overall as a bit pricey - especially as it didn't include breakfast either. However, if cost isn't so much of an issue, the location is great, especially if you're visiting London and have a lot to see and get round in a short space of time. Les mer

Super clean, friendly hotel in the perfect location. Just a few blocks from the Green Park tube station with three subway lines, one that goes to Heathrow and another that goes to King's Cross (if you're taking the Eurostar to Paris). Directly across the street from a Cafe Nerro and Tesco Express so it was easy to pick up coffee in the morning and snacks […] at night. Would absolutely stay here again on my next trip to London and would recommend to anyone looking for a great hotel in central London that won't break the bank. Les mer

"Washington Mayfair Hotel: impresiones dic 2011"
El hotel está fenomenalmente bien situado, junto a halfmoon st. (calle de alto copete según lo que vimos) y a la vuelta de la esquina de la calle picadilly y a 6-7 minutos andando de Picadilly circus. Green Park está a 4 minutos andando y al final de éste, el palacio de buckingham. Todo muy bien. Justo enfrente, un café nero y a la vuelta de la esquina, […] un starbucks, así que el desayuno, solucionado por cuatro duros. Sólo un pero: nuestra habitación daba a un patio trasero con la salida de la extracción y el ruido que eso conlleva. gracias a que nos tocó tercer piso y que salvábamos el murete del patio, sino, no sé yo... La solución: llevarse tapones para dormir por la noche y listo!, que tampoco es tanto el ruido, de verdad. La habitación nos dio algún problema con las luces, que un día dejaron de funcionar misteriosamente y lo arreglaron al día siguiente. En resumen, todo bien, menos lo de la extracción, que con los tapones se soluciona divinamente. ;-) Ya se sabe, para ser Londres está bastante bien Les mer

Las habitaciones eran muy cómodas. El hotel está céntrico y cercano al metro. Recomendable para repetir!

Aprés plusieurs séjours a London, c mon hotel préféré: - quartier calme et agréable, chic qqs bons pubs et restaurants aux alentours. hyde park a 5 minutes à pied les belles rues commerçantes de Regent st et old bond st à 5 ou 10 minutes à pied. facile de rentrer le soir à pied, meme de chinatown ou de soho (15 a 20 minutes)

Hotellet var helt ok. God morgenmad. Desværre fik jeg et værelse ´ved siden af udsugning/ventilator fra køkken. Stoppede kl. 22.30.
