I enjoyed the continental breakfasts. They were great! The staff was great! The room was not bad at all once we were moved. The restaurant was like an old saloon filled with smoke. The SMELL of SMOKE permeated the atmosphere. GROSS!!!!! The furnitre was filthy in the restaurant. I decided not to sit or eat in that part of the hotel. The outer food areas […] in the neighborhood was great. Getting into Hershey, Pa was wonderfully close and well worth it!!! I would stay again but not eat in that filthy restaurant in the hotel. lOVED THE FREE wifi & nEWSPAPERS. sTAFF WASEXCELLENT!!!!!! Les mer

The staff at this hotel was exceptionally helpful. We needed to find the information for a funeral we were attending and the front desk staff searched until it was found for us. Also information about the history of the town and places we might enjoy going were given.This is an older hotel, and so before the remodels are complete, some areas do look […] old. But the staff and provisions made more than made up for a little age in the facility. Les mer

We only stayed one night, but we found it to be quite comfortable. I was also impressed with the helpfulness of the staff. We experienced a problem with the lock on the door, but one of the maintenance staff showed up immediately to begin work on the problem. One complaint would be the showerhead, which sprayed in several directions. Overall, good  […] value. Les mer

The back rooms of the hotel need remodeled but after we moved to a different room it was fine! The breakfast was nice! The night time manager was very accomodating and very friendly!

Nothing fancy, then again it's not a higher end hotel but for the price it was worth it.

Ask for non-smoking room and the minute you walked in the room you knew someone smoked. The second room they gave me you knew they hadn't cleaned it. I gave up with the third room. Would not stay there again.

I'm so sorry to say: Old and run down, dirty, mold in bathroom, carpet sticky and dirty. I didn't feel comfortable or safe at all!

The hotel stay was very nice. However I would like a bell man to bring my bags to my room & at check out bring to my car. Your continentalo breakfast was excellant

This is hotel features a Restaurant on premises, however do not plan on eating there. They did not have any food in the restaurant except for hamburgers, that they had to go down the street and get rolls for. I had to ask for a vacumm and vacumm my own room, because it was so dirty.

Not great. The only reason we chose to stay at this hotel was because we wanted to use the waffle machine that we thought was standard in a quality inn hotel. The waffle maker was out of order, therefore, the breakfast was horrible. There were cobwebs on the ceiling of the room and there were parts of the ceiling coming off. The pictures of the pool […] and the "pond" must have been from a few years ago, the flowers were dead and just did not look the same as the pictures. I was excited about staying there because the lobby was really clean, that was not the case for the room. I really wanted to give a good review but, I just could not do that. Hotel was hardly quality for a Quality Inn. Very shabby and noisy. Breakfast was good.

Over all the hotel met our needs. It was close to family, Had a pool we could use, included a very nice breakfast (one of the bes I had in a hotel for a long time.) The room had a deck but no chair to sit on . We had a nice view of the pool from our room. The room was well maintained but the cleaning staff didn't dust while we were there.

no spoons for breakfast 1 roll of toilet tissue for 2 days foul language at check in everything is outdated tv volume is either too loud or too soft

There has to be a Better Hotel that is newer then the 50+ year old Quality Inn.

Only negative comment is, around the outside of toilet could have been cleaner.

Check in was quick, employees were nice, parking was easy, lobby was clean and quite, sports bar was fun (food and drinks were good too), the location was perfect. For the price and amenities it was better than what a more expensive hotel/motel would offer (I travel a dozen times yearly). Word of wisdom for accommodations anywhere: "If you're on a beer […] budget, don't expect expensive champagne." Good Job Quality Inn Les mer

Hotel was old with minimal upgrades on furniture and fixtures. Bed had a number of hairs. I would never use this hotel in the future.

Upon arrival , my husband and I rode around the property. The picture of Quality Inn on internet looked good. In the very back of the Quality Inn was the back part of the Quality Inn but it looked very "seedy" and 'eerie" - we thought it was government assisted housing. But we thought no way this was a part of the faclity. So, we go to check in and […] it is room 260.... we look for it and see it is in the very back and we were stunned.... so, we immediately go back and tell the desk clerk we have decided to leave and she asked why....and I said we are not at all comfortable staying here. We lost one night's lodging but that was ok. After reading reviews from other people... they have the same opinion.... It was creepy. I have never been so disappointed in any lodging in my life. This hotel is 13mi from Hershey Park, chosen since staying in closer was much more $$$ for much less amenities. It was worth it since the 25 min drive was quite scenic. The room was clean; We asked for and were provided a fridge and microwave. I chose this location also for the amenities-roomservice(FYI-THEY DONT HAVE IT) Also tried to use the safe […] at the desk, and the clerk said they didnt have one! Ends up they did, as I complained at checkout; that particular employee didnt know. The continental breakfast is very nice, providing hot eggs, sausage do-it-yourself waffle maker(fun!), wide variety of breads, juices and all the fixins. Staff very friendly despite running their butts off to restock the breakfast in the rush. The walls were thin, and when room doors closed they did so with a bang. Once asleep. didnt have any problems. The room was generally comfortable for this level hotel. If you are looking for a cushy bed then move on but really it wasnt bad. They didnt seem to have a king room with a pullout sofa so we settled with the two dbls since my 9yr old was with us. A dbl is kinda tuff with two adults! But again, I knew what we were getting into and dealt with if fine. Everything within the room itself worked fine. A few wrinkles in the thin carpet but again, really no biggie. The area: Lots of beautiful rolling hills and cornfields! Hershey Park is approx 25 min away (13 mi) Blue Bird Inn is a GREAT restaurant! Fantastic food! Staff real nice. Now, it was NOT CHEAP as we spent nearly $100 for the three of us, but that included cocktails, appetizer and steak/seafood dishes. We had left overs we brought back to the room for later. Lots of little tiny towns in this whole area that have lots of neat historic interests that we were not able to get into this trip. The trees alone are worth paying attention to as you drive down the roads. If you are going to the area for Hershey Park, ONLY as we did then it is not a bad deal to stay this far out. Not at all impressed. They seemed to have 2 sections. I guess because we had a dog, they stuck us way in the back section. The floor was dirty, the shower was not as clean as I'd like it to be. The clock and light did not work, and the air conditioner was more like just a fan. The room was pretty darn small. For the price paid, I would expect more. […] I stay frequently at another motel chain for the same price range and get much better service, no matter where they are located. Les mer

The Hotel was dirty..I mean disgusting! There were stains all over the floors/ceilings and blankets. It was gross. The sliding glass door to the balcony was so dirty, you coul barely see through it! Then, in the bathroom, the lid to the back of the toilet was missing!! There was a dingy tray laying on top of it to cover it up!!!!! There were cig butts […] and beer bottle caps on the floor between the bed and the nightstand..and we were supposedly in a non smoking room. Just disgusting. I will never ever stay in another Quality Inn as long as I can help it. Another issue we had was when we went to check out. We waited at the check out desk for a good 15 minutes with nobody in sight. I called finally, and someone answered saying that they were in the back looking for something and to "give them a minute".!!!!!! There was an elderly woman in front of us in line who was using the counter to hold herself up! It was ridiculous! Then two days after I left, the hotel itself charged me for the stay, but I paid months earlier through Hotels.com!!! When I tried to get in touch with the hotel to reimburse me, I had to call for almost a month straight to get reimbursed. I am still fighting, now 6 weeks after, to get the overdraft fees I was charged. It is ridicoulous! DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! Les mer

This hotel did not have internet in room but it was available in main lobby area. It is about 2-3 star hotel. The staff was nice during initial check period, but during second night of our stay they were not able to provide us with the water either. It is not the best hotel but one can survive night for reasonable price. The conditioning was not effective […] either. Les mer

The hotel has a newer part and an older part. Before you make reservations make sure you are not in the motel part. It seems to me that they placed a building next to an old motel and continue to use the old motel. It is not worth the money to stay here I felt me paid to much. The room smelled an old musty smell and everytime you left and came back […] you continued to smell it. Housekeeping won't touch your bed if you have anything on it like a stuff animal I guess that is there way of getting out of making the bed. I do not recommend staying here, unless you do not care about comfort and cleanliness. Les mer

My room didnt appear to be cleaned in weeks. the floor was absolutely disgusting, it was sticky. where the carpet came up the wall it was separated and there was so much garbage behind it including cigarette butts. there was an outline of a gun drawn on the first page of the bible. outside the room the halls were so hot and there was no elevator to […] get to the second floor. the "continental breakfast" was spars and terrible. the overall view of the hotel from the outside was ghetto, the place needs to be re-vamped and soon. also the on the second night we had someone sleeping in their truck right outside our balcony. i went with another couple and upon checkout the hotel charged them $80 for god knows what. we left the rooms cleaner then when we got their. and the staff wasn't all that wonderful either. when we checked out we sat at the front desk for 20 mins waiting for someone and when they finally showed up they had an attitude like we where bothering her. the only staff that was nice was the guy that brought the mini fridge and the bartender at the sports bar. i would never go to this hotel again! While the was an odd smell in the room and hallways, the general layout of the hotel was nice and parking was very convenient. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. And the sports bar and restaurant inside the hotel had decent food, drinks and were willing to let us watch the game of our choosing. Not bad for the money and […] close to a lot of stuff in the area. Les mer
