Radisson Lexington Hotel New York - New York

Vi var 2 venninner som reiste sammen. Vi bestilte rommet over telefon og hadde bestilt rom med 2 single senger. Det fikk vi ikke, da bestillingen til hotellet lød på en dobb.seng med dobb. dyne. Betjeningen i resepsjonen var lite imøtekommende og kunne ikke hjelpe oss. Rommet var meget trangt og nedslitt (inkl. badet). Rommet fremstod som møkkete og […] sengetøyet hadde blodflekker. Resepsjonsområdet var bedre og restauranten hadde god mat, men var dyr. Jeg har sendt 2 mail til hotellet da jeg dessverre glemte igjen laderen til fotoapp. mitt, denne har de ikke svart på. Hotellet passet perfekt for min halvannen dags shopping i NY. Det lå i nærheten av Madison og Fitfth avenune og det var heller ikke lange veien til Times Square. Hotellet hadde hyggelig betjening og det var rent og pent. Kan absolutt anbefale dette hotellet til andre.

God valuta for pengene. Vi la på noen hundrelapper for å få en junior suite, og det var det verdt. Hyggelige mennesker og god stemning. Svært bra rom. Fint og sentralt. Her er det bare å booke!

Litt slitent hotell med dårlige hodeputer, men ok seng. Renhold ok. Følte litt utrygghet i fht brannsikkerheten og at det var enkelt for fremmede å ta heisen opp i etasjene. Frokost restauranten på hjørne var DYR. Pluss for beliggenhet nært Central Park, shoppinggater mv. Kort vei til metro.

Arriving at 10pm Sat night after a long flight from Europe, I was met by chaos in the lobby and my room was not 'ready' due to late departure of a large group. The hotel personnel appologized and let me have the junior suite for the first night and then moved into a larger business room for the next 3 nights. Was a bit annoying to have to change rooms […] but I got the better end of things - heard in the elevator from another guest that the small room I had originally booked was really small and not so nice. Guess I benefited from the chaos - was even given a voucher for a free breakfast! Les mer

Eldre hotell med fin beliggenhet på 48th street og Lexington på Manhattan. Gangavstand til Central Park, Empire State Building, Times Square med mer. Rommene er ok, men hvis man skal vurdere etter størrelsen vi hadde (deluxe rom) så bør man ikke velge noe mindre enn dette. Hjelpsom concierge og hyggelig betjening. Jeg ble anbefalt dette hotellet av en kompis og siden jeg aldri har vært i NYC før valgte jeg dette pga trygg beliggenhet midt på Hanhattan. Fikk veldig engelsk hotel følelse. Veldig fin fasade/lobby/bar og så gikk standaren bare nedover fra heisen og inn til rommet. Rent og pent, men gammelt og slitent. Vinduene kan ikke ha vært pusset på 3 år. Vil […] ikke fraråde noen i å bo der. Men trenger du kun et sted å sove så finn et mye billigere hotel. Hele Manhattan er trykt. Frokost spiser du ute uansett og alle cafeer har internet. Les mer

Greit hotel med sentral beliggenhet, gangavstand til det meste. Hotellet er litt slitt men helt ok. Gode senger , hyggelig betjening, ryddig og rent. Perfekt med bagels kiosk over veien og Starbucks coffe i lobbyen for oss som aldri rekker frokost.

Hotellet ser relativt bra ut, men.............. Rommene er ekstremt fuktige. Hele hotellet var egentlig fuktig. Sengetøyet opplevdes som vått og det var meget ubehaglig. Har bodd mye i NYC og har aldri opplevd slik fukt noe sted. Kjørte maks A/C uten hjelp. Sov dårlig hele helgen pga dette. SKUFFET!!

The location is great and the staff was fine. The bar was insanely expensive, my roomed smelled like cigarettes, the tub was clogged and the room was exceptionally tiny.

My room was a little noisy due a broken window. They claimed to not have another room. I dealt with it. I probably won't be back.

Good location with small size rooms and they need to pay attention to detail in their housekeeping.

I LOVED my PURE room, which had an air purifier in it, and had special accommodations made to make it odor and scent free. The entire room smelled so much different from any other room I've ever stayed in, and I adored it.

Every interaction with staff has been helpful, prompt, and courteous. The room was small, cozy, and neat, despite obvious signs of structural age. However, the walls are thin. Sounds of the elevators and water pipes woke us several times. Other guests swiping their key cards down the hall sound as if they are swiping at your door. I've stayed here a couple of times, mostly because of price and location. However, there is always an issue. This time I stayed, the front desk clerk charged me twice for the room and when I spoke to them about they simply stated "It's okay, it will go back into your account in a couple of days." No apologies until I spoke to a manager.

Good and efficient check in. Cleaning and services where ok. The Hotel situated near fifth avenue and all shopping stores. Near to Central Park. Traditional american breakfeast at nearby restaurang. (Raffles) Rather expensive for breakfeast, but good service.

The employees are great - extremely nice and helpful. The restaurant, which also provides room service, is very good. I will definitely stay here again. The only negative thing that I have to say is when I first checked in, the bathroom could have been a little cleaner... but it wasn't too bad, and after that everything was great!

Petite room is just that...

Confortable and clean for the short stay. I had one problem with room service, the menu was not accurate and the food appeared too cool for being freshly prepared.

The hotel was comfortable, clean, quiet and convenient - and the price was right. When I asked if I could check out at 1 rather than 12, they were totally fine with it. And though they didn't have a room ready for me when I arrived at 1pm, they had one at 2 - even though check-in time was officially 3. And there's even a Starbuck's in the lobby!

we booked 2 rooms at this hotel during Easter weekend time 2012. I was completely satisfied with the customer service I received from the doorman to the receptionist. Everything was clean and acceptable from the lobby perspective. however, once I walked into our single full size bedroom I realized how small the room was. i guess for the price i paid […] i should have expected it. I would stay at this hotel again in the future however I'll be booking a much larger room even if i have to pay a higher rate. Les mer

Even with a discounted price, it was too much for an old walk-in closet size room. Could not recommend to a friend.

Rooms in New York are never a value for the price but this very samll room was far below the three and half star rating as advertised. I was given a room on the forth floor beside a hugh A/C blower which came on loadly every half hour. Since I was tired from only four hours sleep the night before and an early morning flight I went straight to bed. I […] was awaked repeatedly by the blower. Therefore, it wasn't until the next morning that I saw all the trash left by the previous lodger that hadn't been cleaned up. I also found the complementary ear plugs on the floor. Les mer

This was the third time I stayed in this hotel in the last two months. It is reasonably priced for my business trips. The last two times I visited, the hotel staff "upgraded" my room. I would have liked more desk space for my laptop and printer but, the accomodations were sufficient. I chose this hotel because it was a 5 minute walk to the office where […] I met clients. This hotel is centrally located and within easy walking distance to 5th Avenue and Grand Central Station. Expect to pay an additional charge if you want access to the int Ernest.

This is a great hotel. The service was very considerate and upgraded my room based on their excess availability and because my room wasn't ready when I arrived to check-in, even though I arrived hours before scheduled check-in time. The quality of the room was very clean and modern. The only drawback is that the wifi is relatively expensive.

This hotel was in a neighborhood of hotels in Midtown. It is within one block of 5 other hotels, so this is a very busy tourist area in midtown. Liked: Great location; 3 blocks from 6 train, 4 blocks from Grand Central and 4,5,6 S, 7 and Metro North trains. Staff was great, room was 140 sq feet, but comfortable and you get to control the temperature […] through the thermostat, a huge plus for me. Disliked: Not much. Pretty good experience. My colleagues and I were very satisfied with our stay for the most part but the internet hindered our ability to get some work done. A very important presentation took hours to upload. It was problematic. Otherwise, we were happy with the convenience for our meetings, cleanliness, service, sushi, and more. On our last day we were accosted in the hallway outside our room by two maids yelling at us saying "You are nasty people, nasty nasty. You have no respect" because there was trash on the floor in our room. It was nothing that was a big deal and our room wasn't cleaned for 4 days prior. A representative at the hotel told us that the maids could not […] be disciplined in any way because they are union workers. So I guess that means the maids can do ANYTHING. They can steal my things or be rude because since they are union workers there are no consequences. I am not comfortable in a hotel that allows employees to have no consequence for their actions. I am on the road about 90 days per year and have NEVER been treated this way in a hotel. I spoke with the general manager of the hotel and he was nice and apologized, but there is still no excuse for any hotel employee to act the way they did. Les mer

We got this room very last minute (the day of) and got a spectacular deal. We signed up for a "petite double" room (my husband and I are pretty small people...so we don't mind the close space), but when he went to check in he requested an upgrade. We got one free of charge. The room was on the 28th floor (you have to take 2 elevators) and was still […] very small, but everything you could need. It had a lovely bathroom, and a small pop-out window that we kept open all night. Minimal noise because we were so high up. I'm used to European hotels, and this room really had that feel (with a bigger bathroom). We loved every second we were there. Lexington Ave. is a great spot to be in. Lots of great restaurants and easy walking. Les mer
