Hadde et veldig trivelig opphold. Generelt godt fornøyd med hotellet som hadde et flott badeannlegg. Også positivt at det gikk gratis buss til The Strip hver halvtime. Turen tok kun 15 min. På den negativ side må det sies at det ikke var rengjøring eller bytte av håndklær hver dag som på vanlige hotell (1g på 7 dg), men man kunne ringe og få rene håndklær i løpet av dagen. I tillegg var det stusselig hvis man var uheldig og trakk det korteste strået og måtte ligge på sovesofaen. Den var ikke god å ligge på, og ødela veldig mye på helhetsinntrykket av et ellers supert hotell. Gjør også oppmerksom på et ekstra gebyr pr dag som kommer i tillegg til alt annet.

Rent, pent hotell (laminat på gulvet og ikke teppe!), helt greie rom, raske heiser. Fordums 50-talls storhet med Flamingoer i bakhagen. Enkelt, greit og billig hotell. Det er dessuten ikke så stort, så du bruker ikke lang tid fra resepsjonen og opp til rommet (andre hotell kan det jo ta 10 minutter).

Hadde rom med utsikt til fontenen, og kunne skru på tv-kanal for å høre musikken på rommet. Morsomt, men fontenen er flottest fra bakkenivå. Bra rom, men virket litt gammeldags. Hyggelig betjening og positiv service. Fikk aldri med oss buffeten pga lang kø, men det finnes flere hyggelige og bra spisesteder på hotellet. Alt i alt; Deilig luksusfølelse til en hyggelig pris.

Kjempefint hotell, lite butikker på selve hotellet, mange av se store hotella her har egen handlegater. Ellers var det et passelig stort casino. Vi brukte litt tid på de andre hotella også, for å få sett mest mulig. Stort minus at det er lov å røyke inne, så selv om de har røykfrie rom, så er det en ein av røyk i casinolokalet og restaurantene. Men sånn var det på de andre hotella vi var på også! Veldig kult at hotellet ser ut som en del av Paris, alt fra gulv til tak (himmelen), eiffeltårnet og triumfbuen, lyktestolper og skilt, og fasader inne. Hotellet er greit som utgangspunkt for Vegas, det ligger midt i sentrum, men om man vil ha alt på ett sted er nok andre hotell mer passende.

Under a vault of two million light bulbs, a four-block pedestrians-only stretch of downtown Las Vegas called Fremont Street Experience presents periodic sound-and-light shows from dusk to midnight. Other day-and-night entertainment on the street includes live music, classic-car displays, and holiday festivals. Like seven other downtown casino hotels, Fitzgeralds opens directly onto Fremont Street, creating a lively flow of pedestrian traffic.
Entertainment includes Marriage can be Murder, murdering nightly at 6:30 PM nightly. Tickets also include a 3 course dinner and beverages. Comic Genius Kevin Burke performing Firing Up at 9:13 PM nightly.
The Casino furnishes 42,000 square feet of slots, video poker, video keno, blackjack, craps, roulette, Pai Gow, Caribbean Draw poker, keno, and a small race-and-sports book.
On the second floor is the smoke-free Poker Room with six tables, three plasma TVs, daily tournaments at noon and 9 PM, complimentary poker lessons at 10 AM, and a progressive Bad Beat Jackpot.

For the price paid this hotel is totally worth the money. Free breakfast and no resort fees! Location right on fremont. Hotel staff were very nice compared to some higher priced hotels. great place
The bath tub non-stop leaking, the sound made us un-comfortable. We asked the room-keeping to solved, but they didn"t fix it. The room carpet so dirty. I hope the new management can do the problems.We"re the regular customers in this hotel. So , we hope next time, we have the clean and comfortable room in the future.

Great Location and the free breakfast was a plus.. we stayed up all night so we wouldn't miss it! Fun experience Downtown! And winning at the D was a PLUS!! Will be back after the renovations!!

"Needs alot of help"
Although the staff was friendly, the hotel is in shambles. The casino is nice and the location is great when you want to access the strip. The problem is that the room is old and not updated or repaired well. The noise is a big problem. It needs better insulation. "Decent Hotel right in the center of Fremont St"
It was just an ok stay at best to be honest. The pool was something you would expect from a motel 6 or worse. The rooms were decent at best with an older TV model and very basic set up. The location was great with an exit right into the Fremont St.experience. The room was clean just did not have the wow factor. Very unsatisfied had to change rooms got sick because of the painting on the 31st floor. Sink had no stopper.mattress was not confortable.had to purchase medicine from CVs drugs because paints toxic odors made me sick and I was throwing up.

New management in an older place in downtown Las Vegas. Despite the rehab they have done, it is still a little seedy in that area. I had a room on the 32 floor, but because of the "Fremont St Experience" with ear-blasting loud rock music, had to run my room fan constantly to cover the noise at night. My friend had a room on the eighth floor and needed […] to use her ear plugs. Breakfast was included in price, though, oddly, I had to pay extra for coffee. Staff was a bit dismissive--no one seemed to know where the public transportation center was (a few blocks away) and no one could be bothered to find out for me. If I return to Las Vegas (not too likely) I will probably check out places on the strip instead. Les mer

"Nothing wrong"
The only reason you even clicked on this hotel when you were doing your search is the price. Well don't mind the negative reviews. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this place. The rooms are a little old, but they are big and clean. The desk staff and cleaning staff are great. If you want to have a mint on your pillow and pay way too much for the […] same accomodations, go somewhere else. And yes, you have to buy the drink with breakfast but it still costs $5, or $3 if you are cheap and want to stiff the server (which I saw people do). Right on Fremont Street. No complaints. Les mer
"Not a bad place"
After I booked my reservation I noticed some bad reviews so I got a little worried since I did a non refundable option. However, I only stayed for one night and it was not bad at all. When I checked in I asked for a renovated room, but the clerk informed me that they aren't even starting renovations until the summer, however she said she would give […] me a room on a higher floor which might be a little nicer. We were on the 30th floor, and the room was definitely out of date, but at least it was clean. I even checked for bed bugs just to be sure and found none. One minor complaint was that the air conditioning was really loud and kept waking me up (but it worked well), and once when we were going up the elevator from the lobby floor, it went up to the 28th floor, stopped, went back down to the lobby, and the door didn't open for maybe a minute. I was about to push the call button, but it finally opened. So we got in a different elevator. Until they renovate the hotel is purely basic--perfect if you just need a place to crash. Les mer
First room was on 3rd floor. It was totally a disaster. smelled bad, wallpaper coming off bathroom wall, halls looked dirty. Worst I have seen in any hotel. Hotels .com said the hotel had been remodeled. Truth is that you were only startiong the job. I was moved to 34th floor which was OK. This is not a high quality facility.

Having dealt with 3 front desk staff prior to getting the manager, it took forever to get checked in, when we made it to the room the keys didn't work, got keys that worked and got in the room and it wasn't clean!

"From the Fitz to the New D Hotel"
Derek Stephens who recently acquired this hotel i starting to make much needed improvements. He started with the new "Long Bar" which is very impressive. Next step is the hotel rooms and casino. I can't wait to see the final transformation. This will be the place to be once this is completed. Best of Luck to him and his team. Great stay as always!

Parking was a bit confusing and tedious at times and the rooms weren't as up to date as one might think a recently renovated hotel in begas would be but had no complaints about the service or quality of the rooms. "In the heart of the Fremont street action"
I thought the room was really good value and the free breakfast was much better than I was expecting. The only real complaint, if I can even call it that, was the lack of electrical outlets in the room. I had to set up my laptop in the bathroom to read my email. Overall the staff were friendly and the room was great for the price.

"Downtown Vegas"
We chose this hotel because of its location and it didn't disappoint. The bathtub had a very leaky faucet but otherwise the room was okay and especially for the price, it was worth it.

This review is not for people who can afford to stay at the Wynn. The D or Fitzgerald was a great find, free breakfast and a great view. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. Also great friendly staff

The peple working at the reception and in the restaurant are rude and impolite. We had coupons for FREE breakfast - but they charged us for the coffee !

It was a happenin' place on friday night. You could sing along to the band playin on freemont street from our room on the 24th floor. Plus I liked the free breakfast.

This was a pretty good for for the price we paid. I live in Las Vegas, and was just taking a nice out. Its in a great location if you want to go out on Freemont Street. The rooms were clean, and our check in experience was nice. We were given a late check out for 2pm, since we were not able to check in until about Midnight.
