We liked the location-near to sights and one exit from marvelous shopping. The breakfast was a real treat; there was a lot from which to choose and there were hot items to complete a filling breakfast. The channel selection was first rate, and the room was very comfortable.

We have stayed at this hotel three times now. It's clean, quiet, close to the freeway. It has a decent hot breakfast. And it's reasonably priced.

The only drawback to this hotel is the breakfast. Bring extra money and eat out at the Bob Evans Restaurant nearby.

Great rate through hotels.com Huge, continental breakfast was a hot buffet including scrambled eggs, biscuits. Extremely pleased.

The last time I went to Erie with my family, we stayed close to the beach and ended up in a dump. This time we wanted someplace nice for the kids and convenient location for a good price and got it. My husband and I booked this room for a weekend getaway with our two children, ages 6 and 11. The hotel is NOT worth the money. The hotel had a terrible smell, mold in the refridgerator and the pool had a makeshift pump. The bathroom smelled like someone had not flushed the toilet for weeks. The pool was dirty, cloudy and had a film on the surface. One of our rooms smelled like body odor. The room down the hall had a dog that kept barking.

Room was a bit dated, hardly any toilet paper on either roll, do not disturb hanger was ignored. Otherwise was OK for the money. Very close to casino but a drive to any other entertainment.

My family and I have stayed in this hotel a couple of times each summer for the past three years. The principal draws for us have been the outdoor pool - it opens at 8am and is pretty well maintained - and the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms. During our 2 stays this past summer, however, we found that the condition of the hotel had declined […] somewhat. Fixtures were broken, the TV didn't work well, and the cleanliness of the hotel wasn't as good as it was in the past. I stayed # the Days Inn for 6 nights during a visit to Erie to attend a reunion and visit family and friends. I travel a lot for work and really appreciated the way this facility is managed and attended to, A lot of places "say" they've got exercise equipment but often it's broken down or unoperative. The D.I.'s equipment - a couple of treadmills, a […] stairclimber and a stationary bike were always functioning and available during my stay. Their breakfast is excellent; they offer a real "hot" breakfast instead of the usual cold cereal out of stryofoam offered elsewhere. The staff were helpful, frendly and efficent. Exceptionally friendly and helpful front desk staff. Rooms clean; beds comfortable and room adequate. Breakfast more than "continental" advertised. Only blip: swimming pool temporarily not open because of chemical problem. Booking thru hotels.com gave us great price, so we received great value on this room when compared to our other choices.
Stayed overnight coming back from a business trip. Arrived at 2:00 p.m. and was told no rooms were available until 3:00 p.m. Came back at 3:30 p.m. staff was friendly and curteous. Finally walked into the room and the smell knocked me over. Mildew, two machines were still in the room to dry the room out. I went back out to the front desk and said I […] wanted another room; they indicated that they were booked for the night I said well there is no way I would stay in that room. They put me across the hall from the same room; every time the guest opened the door the smell of the room swept into the hall. The air conditioning in my room smelled I finally turned it off. Breakfast was ok. Hotel needs updating. Hotel is in a convenient location to casino and one exit from shopping and water park. The pool was closed water needed to be tested was told it would be open that eveing but it was still closed the next day also. There were a lot of disappointed kids. A lot of motels around the area. This was convenient to restaurants, shopping & the Behrend campus. Very nice hotel. Breakfast buffet was good, except the pancakes & biscuits were very hard from sitting but was included with room and was definitely a variety.

Not bad for the money. I was concerned because this hotel allows smokers and pets, but our floor did not smell like smoke or pets. It was clean and the workers were very accomodating. The pool wasn't bad, but could have been cleaned a little better. All in all, for the rate we paid, I was happy and would stay there again.

I was visiting Erie for the time and had no idea what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly and welcoming the staff at Days Inn were. The first to days the keys were not working but they always had somebody present to open our room doors promptly. I stayed for three nights and I slept quite comfortably. Their breakfast was good as […] well and they had plenty of parking. I didnt use the pool or the fitness center so I don't know how they were. We booked our room through Hotels.com, requested an early check-in with a smoking room. Upon our arrival at 11:30 a.m., we were informed no rooms were ready, and that we could not check in before 3:00 p.m. We were on vacation, and needless to say, we had hoped to check in and freshen up before heading out for the day. When we returned to the hotel and […] checked in at 8:30 p.m., we went to our room and found it was a non-smoking room. After another trip to the front desk and 30 minutes later, we were given a smoking room. We then noticed we had no ashtrays, and had to contact the front desk to request ashtrays. In about 30 minutes, house keeping knocked on our door and delivered a dirty ashtray. Needless to say, from the start of our arrival at 11:30 until finally getting settled into our room, we were very less than pleased with our experience and/or stay. On our next trip to Erie, Pa., don't be surprised if we choose another one of the many hotels in the area, much less share with family and friends our total displeasure of our experience. Very late check in time; didnt offer any amennities before check in time; basically told us to go away. Pool very dirty; cloudy water almost an algae smell. Location is average; a few eating places nearby. Room was clean; decent; breakfast not worth waking up early for.

The motel's key system wasn't working and they were more than willing to let me into my room every time I had to take the dog out. Stayed for 2 nights. Had a pleasant stay. everything seemed clean and the people working there were nice. the pool was faboo. Breakfast was average but not bad. they need honey nut cheerios and cinnamon buns and better toasters Tv in room was a bit fuzzy for some reason. The staff were friendly even though there was a mess up with our reservation---they quickly resolved it! Overall, the stay was great. I needed a place to stay for two nights for a business trip. Considering the price, I was impressed. The hotel is a little outdated, but it was clean and well-kept. The breakfast was good. The thing that I thought was most outdated was the gym. The equipment worked, it just wasn't state-of-the art or very new(which was okay […] by me). Water in room sink took a while to go down. Needs to be fixed. Beds are small need to be Queen size. Breakfast was okay. Took a long while for eggs and sausage to be refilled. Eggs are not tasty. The toaster did not properly toast the bread- only on one side. Need to offer a children's cereal. Need an indoor pool and/or jacuzzi to utilize during winter […] months. What a wonderful hotel. The staff was freindly and very helpful. We had a small problem with the bathroom and informed the person at the main desk. By the time we got back to the room at the end of the day the problem was fixed. The conteninal breakfast was wonderful plenty of food for everyone.
Very good room and service for the price. Close to shopping and casino. The complementary hot breakfast was more than we expected. Quite good.

The hotel was less than 5 minutes away from all major attractions in the area and it was just far enough away from the Interstate to not hear the noise of the traffic. "Very convenient, central location, BUT"
We enjoyed our stay, the room #224 and breakfast were to our expectation. However, the elevators were not working during our stay and it was very very difficult for my wife who has arthritis in her knees to walk up and down the stairs.

the room & overall hotel very clean & in good condition. great hot & cold breakfast! all hotel personnel extremely pleasant, helpful & professional. maintenance crew seemed to be right on top of any needed work e.g. they were painting stairwells, they made timely repairs in elevator, etc.

We got a very good deal for this room from Hotels.com, if I had paid more I may not have been so nice with my ratings. Firts I would like to say the customer service sstaff was very nice and quick to accomodate. The cleanliness of the room was terrible, pee that was already there on the bottom of the toilet was left and never cleaned it even the next […] day, and our first room smelled like something died and it wasn't addressed until we said something, finally someone else smelled it and moved our room...our second room was much cleaner, my only other issue was the pool seemed a little dingy and not well kept, the water wasn't clear. Our room was neat, and clean. The front desk people were curtious as well as the housekeepers. They had a nice breakfast ready for all to enjoy. We would recommend it for anyone that would consider staying at this hotel.
