This hotel was deplorable. From the dirty room whose toilet overflowed in the middle of the night to the advertised indoor hot tub empty but for several inches of green water. The manager generously refunded 10%. l will not ever stay at a Comfort Inn again.

Aside from the issues below, hotel was ok for the rate we paid, but the non-smoking room smelled like it used to be a smoking room. The window locks did not work and one of our keys (which appeared to be well-worn) deactivated itself. There was only one towel in the room. The most unfortunate part was when we got up to take showers in the morning and […] there was ZERO hot water. We complained to the attendant at the front desk as we checked out and he replied, "Oh, geez." then thanked us for staying. We later overheard another couple of guests complaining at the front desk for the same issue while we were eating breakfast. The attendant stated that the water heater circuit was not heavy enough for the hot water demands of a full hotel and would trip the breaker. He said the manager was aware of the issue but had thus far refused to fix it. I would recommend that the manager fix the water heater circuit because the promise of a cold shower means that we will REFUSE to stay here again. Les mer

The electronic room key entry was not working and needed an attendant each time you left your room. The majority of the equipment in the exercise room was inoperable.
"Three night stay was three nights too long"
Arrived "late" only to discover that my 3 night prepaid reservation had been cancelled by the night clerk. Took an hour to figure out how to reopen and give me a room. Found bugs on the wall, nightstand, and windowsill but I was just too tired to change rooms. Housekeeping failed to replace towels, coffee packages, or toilettries. Worst Comfort Inn […] stay I have ever experienced. I have recurring business in Morgantown, however I will find a new chain for the next stay. Les mer
"Old and rundown, but clean."
The hotel itself is old and not maintained very well. When we went to use the microwave, we realized it was not plugged in because the refrigerator and lamp were already plugged in. My mother unplugged the lamp to use the microwave, and was nearly electrocuted, so when we wanted to use the microwave, we had to unplug the refrigerator. I know this is […] not the hotels fault, but we had to call the office because of the people above us running back and forth across the floor at almost 11 at night (we had a toddler in our room that we were trying to get to sleep, but couldn't because of all the noise) and then at 2 in the morning the people right next to us were drunk and being horribly loud. The point is, the walls appear to be VERY thin, so if you have loud neighbors, good luck. Also, I booked two rooms at the same time, which I would think normally would be close together. Not only were we at complete opposite ends of the hotel, we were also on two different floors. We were literally as far apart as they could've physically gotten us, which was a big disappointment. "Needs a upgrade"
It was not as clean as I would have wanted, the employees at the desk wasn't available all the time. The reception area to visit wasn;t very cool. The cleaning personal was very good.
When I arrived in my room there was no toilet paper, then I went to get ice and both machines did not work on a 90 degree day.I had stayed here 3 months ago and everything was fine. What happeneod? I would not recomend this hotel to anyone. I saw the clerk put 2 couples on opposite sides of the hotel that were traveling together. "Comfort Inn in Morgantown, WV...outstanding staff!"
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at this motel is outstanding. They maintain extra clean rooms and are always willing to help you out. I was glad to see both female and male housekeeping employees and both equally maintain a high level of hard work and cleanlessness. Will be staying here again.

The room was clean , the king bed was comfortable , The hostess was friendly. Breakfast was good. We got a fair price and was happy with our room.

We were traveling south on I79 and found the easy on and off very convenient after a day of travel.

"Comfort Inn - WVA"
For the price, this hotel was fine. It is 5 minutes from WVU which was convenient for our visit there. I was pleasantly suprised that they had some eggs and biscuits/gravy as part of the continental breakfast. Although the exercise room was sparse, you can always get a good work-out on the treadmill.

They couldn't switch my room from a king to 2 doubles. When we got there, the toilet hadn't even been flushed or the seat cleaned. Overall not a very good experience, but the staff was pleasant.

"Great price and location for WVU visitors"
This is the 3rd time we have stayed here. The staff is friendly and the hotel is clean. The breakfast buffet is appealing and well-stocked. And, there is a restaurant right next door for lunch or dinner. (Also, there is a Catholic Church - St. Francis de Sales a few blocks away!) The only problem is that their outdoor pool is not always open. They seem […] to have trouble maintaining it for their guests, so don't always count on a swim. Les mer

"Ok place but overpriced"
The hotel was ok. Not great but have seen worse. The heating and cooling system in our room was EXTREMELY loud and made a rumbling noise all night. There were small objects on the floor (dime, ink pen) That showed it hadn't been swept before our stay.

"Needs Improvement"
This hotel is convenient to WVU. The price and location make it a good choice for parents of students. However, the hotel offers a FREE breakfast from 6:00 - 10:00 and we arrived at 9:30. Most all of the food was gone!!!! The staff of the hotel really needs to re-stock, which they do not do. So, those who arrive earlier get their pick of many items, […] and probably load up on all of it! Then, those who sleep a little later are lucky to find a bowl of cereal. I had to ask the staff of both days of my stay to refill the milk container so I could, at least, have some for my cereal. Also, I was looking forward to taking a dip in their outdoor pool. But, it is so small that two people were in it, and it was too crowded. There are also just a few lounge chairs so it is hard to find some place to sit. Les mer
