Ut av døra, sving til venstre, en liten spasertur på ca 3 min og du havner rett på Burbon Street! Dette er det perfekte hotellet om du ønsker å komme litt bort fra støynivået for å sove. Deilige senger med gode dyner, ingen laken og pledd å rote seg bort i :) Hyggelig betjening og levende musikk hver kveld i et hotell som er gjennom trivelig. Vi var ikke fornøyd med hotellets enklerestaurant Le Bistraeux. Her kom de med vinkartet først etter at vi hadde fått maten. Så tok det lang tid og de kom tilbake og fortalte at de ikke hadde den vi bestilte, men en erstatning. Da regningen kom, var den 10 dollar dyrere. Det ble ikke opplyst.

Et meget hyggelig og pent lite hotell som er sentralt , men ikke midt i bråket.

Fint hotell med sentral beliggenhet. Gangavstand til sentrum og bassenget var bra. Fine rene rom og et rimelig hotell.

UNFORTUNATELY WE WERE TO ARRIVE WITHIN 3.5HRS FROM TEXAS BUT RAN INTO SO MUCH DIFFICULTY THAT IT TOOK 7HRS TO GET TO THE HOTEL AT 8:30PM COULD NOT SEE OR DO ANYTHING EXCEPT GO TO BED IN ORDER TO GET TO TRAIN STATION BY 6AM

A very good hotel with a great [and quiet !]position only a few minutes walk to the action in the French quarter. The uprade to a balcony is well worth it.

Very pretty hotel, nice room, walk around a bit, very cool. Cool bar too, although pricey.

This was our second stay at Maison Dupuy, a boutique hotel right out of Paris. The inner courtyard is beautiful and if you are smart enough to reserve a room with a balcony, you can open the windows and listen to piano music drifting up on the weekends. This hotel was very comfortable. It's just 2 blocks from Bourbon St. Pool and hot tub were not warm but there were extra towls by the pool.

I was a little dissappointed....I booked a King Room....I got a Kingsized headboard with a queen bed. No mini-bar. I had to request a refrigerator (I'm Diabetic , and needed to chill my Insulin). It had the greatest location...only three blocks to Bourbon Street, and that was the point! The staff was very accomodating and they even waived the fee for […] the refrigerator ($15/night). I would have appreciated knowing the parking fee of ($32/night) in advance...but totally worth it! New Orleans French Quarter is not where you want to drive, especially since New Orleans understands that drinking and driving do not mix. Plenty of fun located near to this hotel, without it being too close. Also all of the tour companies were more than happy to offer pick-up at this hotel. Les mer

If your looking for true New Orleans charm- this is it. Our stay was great and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do.. Close enough to everything in the French Quarter but far enough away that your not disturbed by loud late night noise. Upon checking into our first room, noticed there was a foul smell, started to unpack, but the smell was overpowering. Upon closer look there was VOMIT on the carpet between the two double beds and all over the bed skirt and comforter. Called the front desk and said they would send house keeping up and key cards to a different room. They did not seem […] surprised in the least and did not upgrade the room. They did send breakfast vouchers for the next day. The bathrooms were dirty in each of the rooms. One of them had hairs in the shower and the other had hairs all over the bathroom. The room was decent and the staff was very nice, however, when considering the room descriptions and the photos of the rooms there was no comparison to the room I got. I personally choose this hotel because of the size of the bathroom and the comfort depicted for various web sites. Much to my surprise the bathroom was only big enough for one person […] at a time, and did not have the luxurious shower and tub shown in the photos which was the deciding factor when choosing this hotel. It was so small the sink was twisted sideways with the faucet to the right of the bowl rather than in the rear like normal sinks to give the door room to open. It was in a quite section of the city but after three days back and forth from the room and the attractions your feet will be dead. I would rather have stayed somewhere else for the price and the lack of size in the room. Les mer

The hotel was very nice, great location and great service.

Great location of hotel who wants to be in the French Quarter but not be in the middle of all the noise and revelry of Borbon Street. Unfortunately the cleaning room staff was horrible. Cursory cleaning of the room at the best , when we weren't having to ask for towels.

Good location but the room we got had non functioning A/C and smelled of mildew. We had to ask 3 separate days before they got around to fixing it. Then we had to finally switch rooms because they couldn't fix it. The second room was larger and cleaner (no musty smell like the first one) but had a industrial ventilation fan outside the window making […] it noisy. They did make good with a future stay voucher for the delay in addressing our concern. If you get a decent room, the hotel is nice enough. Location, lobby, bar, all fine. Not first class by any stretch, but reasonable for price. Good location far enough from Bourbon Street to avoid the drunks, still in FQ so you can have fun. Les mer

This is the nicest room we've had in New Orleans, at this rate. The area is great and the room was clean and comfortable. We had a balcony overlooking the street and it was not too loud. The only thing I didn't love is that the balconies are shared between rooms, so you may share the balcony with people you don't know - but this would be a great option […] for groups traveling together! Hotel was at the edge of the Quarter, but well located (central enough) for us. From here we walked to Frenchman Street and the CBD and even to the Warehouse Arts District. We were able to get an early check in, which helped out quite a bit after our travels to get to NOLA. This hotel felt like a larger 'chain' type of hotel, not a boutique. We had a great stay....the hotel was just a few blocks from Bourbon Street. They have a wonderful restaurant, very special food. We enjoyed the restaurant bar and a great guitarist, easy listening in a sea of jazz and rock. Rooms were just fine, the beds were fantastic! We are actually planning a wedding at this hotel. We absolutely love it!

We enjoyed our stay. It is very well maintained and the service was great. It was convenient to the French Quarter and had valet service for our auto. The value was very acceptible.

Loved everything about this place. The staff was friendly and helpful and the location can't be beat. It's in the French Quarter but not too close to the craziness! We walked everywhere and always felt safe. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

Just a couple blocks from bourbon street so you really get a chance to experience why you came here. Our flight arrived early so our room wasnt ready yet, and one of the ladies who checked us in wasn't too friendly but wasn't mean. Overall, great breakfast buffet, great staff, and great experience!

The hotel was great, except for the strong smell of cigarette smoke in my "non-smoking" room. I had the staff try to freshen it up, but it did not help. It appeared as though someone vomited in the hall near my door and housekeeping ignored it when they cleaned my room. I had to notify the desk before it was addressed.

We had a good stay at this hotel. I usually have difficulties sleeping in hotels due to noise or too much light from the hallway ect. The Maison Dupuy was great! I had no trouble sleeping. The bed was good and it was dark and quiet. Close to all the attractions in the French Quarter without the noise of Burbon Street. Room service isn't great.

Excellent location for a French Quarter visit. Room was very nice. Small bar in hotel was a good spot for a cocktail. Only disappointment was the expensive parking charge.

Great location and only two blocks from Bourbon St and yet far enough way from the noise. Loved the salt water hot tub!!! Nice restaurant on premises and the personnel were super. I will make it my first choice for my next trip.

Great location. Close enough to walk anywhere you need to go. Hotel itself was fine but the bathroom was a little cramped. Overall, a nice place to stay. Exterior room views provide a beautiful view of new Orleans charm.

Right in the heart of the French Quarter. Clean, Comfortable and priced right. Would definitely stay here again.

We always have a nice stay at the Maison Dupuy. This was our 4th time here. The only down fall this trip were the view from the window. We were facing a slab wall and house keeping seemed to be a bit lax in some areas. Still would highly recommend.

We have stayed here many times before and highly recommend it. However this time there were a few issues. We booked a balcony room because in the past you could smoke on the balcony. They have a new policy of no smoking anywhere on the hotel premise and there is a $250.00 fine if you do smoke. They have also removed the furniture from the balconies […] so you can't even sit and have coffee. The balcony doors would not lock and they never sent anyone to fix this. It was a problem because we had a shared balcony. The drapes on the balcony doors were shredded which concerned us because of the detail the porter took to point out every scratch and dent on our car before parking it and the list of all the fees and fines quoted at check in. They must of had recent problems since we stayed there 6 months ago and none of this happened, but their caution concerned us. However we did not incur any additional fees or fines. Otherwise a lovely hotel, freindly staff and excellent location. We will be returning, but not worth the extra cost for a balcony. A lovely wedding occured in courtyard while we were there, but it was off limits to guests, so no sitting there to have a cup of coffee. Les mer
