The Hampton Inn Edmond is a really nice hotel. You will need a car in this area anyway, so the location doesn´t really matter. The good thing about the location, was that it is close to I-35. Had no trouble with noise from the road. The standard and quality of the entire hotel is good except for one thing: The AC is extremely noisy. I have never heard anything like it. You can choose temperature and whether the AC shall be On or in Auto mode (which is a really nice feature!). However, we found out that if we should use the AC during the night, we had to leave it on and use earplugs. If you choose Auto mode, you are awaken every time the AC turns on. We were there in the spring when it was still possible to leave the AC off during the night, but I would not recommend this hotel at times when it is absolutely necessary with AC. Too bad, because the hotel is really nice except for this.

We had a six year old with us (we are his grandparents). He loved the pool area and the breakfast. And best of all...the pool was open until midnight? He had a great time, which made us happy. Access to the interstate was great and room service was fast and the food was good.

This room is right above the ballrooms and the music can be very loud if they are having a reception or party. The front desk was sympathetic to our dilemma and offered to move us the next day. The night of the music the front desk told us it would end at 11:00 pm and it did. The next night there was a wedding reception in the ballroom and the music […] was not as bad. Also the front desk was very helpful in directing guest if the tornado sirens would go off as to giving and post direction around the hotel. Les mer

"Mommas needing a break"
I sent my daughters for a relaxing night at the Embassy for a break. As always, the Embassy is our #1 pick.
We loved this hotel. We've stayed at embassy suites b-4 & have always loved it. The best thing we liked was the AWESOME breakfast!!!! It was like going to a restrauant. Great job! Would highly recommend & stay again!

I always try to stay at an Embassy Suites when I can. The manager's reception and breakfast are always great. This was no different. The location is a little out of downtown but it's not a bad drive. Maybe 5-10 minutes by car. If you don;t have a car and want to go downtown and are staying more than one day you might want to consider someplace else. EMBASSY SUITES ON MERIDIAN IS JUST NOT WHAT IT USE TO BE. THEY WERE NOT AT ALL FRIENDLY WHEN CHECKING IN, THE HEATER IN OUR ROOM DID NOT WORK, AND IT WAS FREEZING OUTSIDE, MAINTENANCE SAID THAT IT WOULD COME BACK ON IN 10-15 MIN AND IT NEVER DID. THEY WERE DOING REPAIRES AND IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE MESS. VERY LOUD. IT WAS A PRICEY SLEEPLESS NIGHT.
"Great stay for a trip to new Outlet mall"
Only 4 miles away from the new outlet mall- easy access from this location. They were remodeling while we were there which was loud and noisy, but it was a great place to stay. Clean-- only issue was the air vent in bathroom on 6th floor was filtlhy... if you want to be picky. Breakfast was excellent--
They decided the day that we were trying to take a much needed nap that they were going to start ripping the tile out of the lobby. There was alot of noise and dust everywhere. Wish that i had known this before we decided to stay here. Other than that, this hotel is great. Breakfast staff is very friendly. This hotel allowed our pet to stay for $50 […] deposit, which is much cheaper than any other in the surrounding area. It is only 4 miles away from the new outlet mall in OKC. Les mer

Enjoyed the stay, the atmosphere is so nice, the breakfast and free bar is so nice. I think it would be nice if the bar and the courtyard stayed open for you past 11:00 pm. We had a family reunion there and weren't quite ready to call it a day at that time.

Staff was very friendly, in general. The lounge employees were somewhat lazy and nonchalant, but overall not bad. The rooms were clean, but very dated. I stayed because of a business engagement at the hotel, but probably wouldn't stay if I was footing the bill.

"Awesome Stay"
The hotel was awesome. Rooms were clean and with plenty of space. The pool was wonderful and my grandkids and I had a good time. My only issue was that there were not enough towels in the pool room. No one seemed to come and check or anything. But not a big deal. The hotel and room service we received were awesome.

I felt the front desk help was a little rude. Not particularly friendly. Breakfast was very nice, room was very clean and it was quiet. Overall a very nice stay.

We arrived late in the evening, and were served quickly and professionally. The hotel was full od Spring Break revelers, but our stay was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and well-served. This is the old-style Embassy Suites with the single access bathroom, but otherwise, the staff's capablework made our stay very comfortable.

The heater in our room did not work and we were given a small space heater. In 30 degree weather, that is just unacceptable.
"Always the Same; Always Great!"
Once again, Embassy Suites provided a high level of customer service with a clean and lovely hotel. We always enjoy the manager's reception and the complimentary cook-to-order breakfast as well. This time, we called the front desk and they allowed us a late check out which was wonderful because I had a migraine the night before and had been up way too […] late!!! Wonderful stay, Embassy Suites always provides a consistent and wonderful experience. The only concern with this hotel is that the area around the hotel is slowly declining. I wouldn't worry about my safety or my belongings, but I can see that this hotel would be moved by Hilton Properties at some point in the future. Thank you! Les mer

Lots of resturants around. Nice hotel. Neat and clean! Great breakfast! Starts at 7:30. A little late for us, but overall a great experience.

This hotel is located in a location that allows easy access to highways. The check-in staff were very helpful and even allowed us to check-in a full hour ahead of time. It was a little difficult to control the heating and air in the room itself. There are waterfalls on the first level, which you can hear from inside your room if you are very near to […] them on the first floor. You are not able to hear much noise from other guests on the floor above you. The free continental breakfast was VERY impressive! Check in was so quick and such great attitudes of those at the desk. Hotel was beautiful with the most comfortable rooms we have ever stayed in. The breakfast buffet was fabulous as well!
