I arrived too early(one o'clock), so I waited in my air conditioned car for one hour, Right outside the room that I ended up getting. The only "cleaning" that was done in my room, was change of bedsheets, towres, and no cloth , mop og detergent entered my room that day. But I liked the room, bathroom, bed and pool area. Aldo coffee maker, hair dryer and refrigerator in my room. And the maintenance guy was hard working and very service minded. He made a good impression for the hotel. Hotel is really close to the beach, and the beach Is lovely! I would def go back!

Veldig bra senger, rent og pent, ikke veldig sentralt, nærme flyplassen. ca 5 minutter å gå til nærmeste butikk. Gratis kjapt trådløst internett, og gratis buss til og fra flyplassen, sentrum ligger ca 15 minutter unna med taxi. Jeg vil bo der igjen hvis jeg skal tilbake til Tampa.

Flott stab, hyggelige mennesker med serviceinnstilling. Fikk rom med lukt da vi kom - ble byttet neste morgen uten problemer. Kjempefin frokost i rene lokaler. Anbefales!

Me ville til eit hotell og bare slappe av, og ongane ville bada. Difor passa dette hotellet godt. Hotellet ligg i strandkanten, og har dessutan eit lite basseng. Me likte oss veldig godt. the hotel was great. the only complaints I have are that the elevator was really slow, even when people weren't using it. Also, the internet, while free, required you to sign in everyday which was a pain for me because I am taking online classes and had to go on multiple times while vacationing. "Best location on Gulf Blvd"
This hotel has the best location on the Boulevard. You're equally distant to St. Pete's Beach and Clearwater Beach. You can travel inland across as many as 4 causeways if you so choose. Great restaurants are abundant with 15 minutes of the hotel. And best of all, you're just steps from the beach for swimming, walking, or shelling.

My wife have travelled to Florida over 20 times in the last 15 years, and I have to say that our stay this time was the best. The Doubletree is located at 171st and Gulf Blvd, which makes it convenient to anywhere along the coast, from St. Petes Beach all the way to Clearwater. You're smack dab in the middle of it all, and close to 2 causeways, should […] you want to leave the cozyness of the beach. I played golf 1 day, but spent the rest of the trip enjoying the beach. Be sure to ask for a higher floor, it lessens the noise of the people, and allows you to hear the "roar" of the surf from your balcony. We found the staff to be exceedingly helpful, and cheerful. Seemed they all left any troubles they had at home when they came to work. Very professional, yet very friendly. For the price, and location, this hotel was the best I could find on the water, and that includes all the name brands. We will definitely return to the Doubletree for the relaxing atmosphere, great location, and superior value in the future. We were both sorry we didn't make plans to stay longer, although the 5 days we spent there seemed to last forever. Les mer
"Overpriced and outdated"
For the price of this room we expected a way nicer place. the hotel for the most part looks old and tired. the breakfast buffet was $15(the hotel we stayed at at the night before had the same thing for free)! The resturant was very slow and overpriced. It took us an hour and 15 minutes to get burgers and hot dogs for lunch and there was only about 4 […] other groups in the place. We had a five-night stay in a very nice oceanfront room, which was clean and comfortable. I was a little concerned that it would be noisy with our room overlooking the pool and Tiki Bar, but it wasn't a problem. There was ample parking under the hotel and easy access. "Awesome Stay."
Best stay I have had anywhere in Florida. Staff was great from check-in to check-out. Very clean rooms. Comfortable beds. View of the Gulf is well worth the Extra money. Looking forward to my next stay when in the area. Breakfast was great also.
Loved the place. Right on the beach. Great restaurant. Got to see a wedding while we ate. Great and friendly service. Would definetly go again.

Our stay at Double Tree Beach Resort by Hilton Tampa Bay-North Redington was all that we expected and more. Very clean spaceous room with the view of the water & beautiful sunsets. A great staff. Excellant location, Could have used a microwave for late night snacks. Will look forward to a return stay.

"Know What You Are Getting First"
This hotel sits tightly packed on the beach with several other hotels and condos. Parking is easy and free on the street level with elevators up to each floor. Rooms were clean but the lower rooms sit right over the pool, patio, and bar. At night there were loud actvities in the bar and patio area until after 11 pm. "Love This Place!!"
This was the 2nd time we have stayed at the Double Tree. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Mango's restaurant was amazing. Make sure you try the Local Field Greens salad. So different but so gooood! Our room was beautiful and very clean. We plan on staying there again.

We loved watching the sunset over the Gulf from our balcony. The room could use some updating, but we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. The hotel staff was extremely accomodating and recommended a great place to eat just down the road. "Double Tree"
I only spent one night but oveall a good stay. Very friendly service and had an amazing view of the gulf. Although it was a little steep I wish i had stayed another night. And the cookies were so delicious. The room was very nice and comfortable. Ill be back hopefully

We stayed at another hotel just before we came to the DoubleTree and my family was delighted with the stay at the DoubleTree. All the staff were all awesome and would come back to stay in a second. The rooms were clean and the view is awesome.

"Great Hotel..."
I stayed here for a weekend on a family gathering...and EVERYONE was very pleased with this hotel. The staff was friendly, the place was immaculate and had great pool side entertainment/music. Very lively atmosphere and the food was actually very good too! Definitely a thumbs up! And I am a very picky person when it comes to these things...

"Good experience overall"
I don't think this hotel completely lives up to some of the rave reviews I read before booking but it was a nice place overall. The main negatives: I was a bit annoyed when I checked in and they told me they didn't have the king room I had reserved so I had to take a double queen room, no apologies, just the way it was. My room was on the 2nd floor, […] gulf view, with my balcony directly over the canopy of the outdoor dining area, so noise and smoke from the people sitting there drifted up making the balcony less than pleasant. I was woken up early by the noises of chairs and tables scraping around right under the window. And the tiki bar music was very loud and goes until 10pm so not the best place to take kids or if you want to sleep well. However, the staff was very nice, the room was clean and nice, the beach was beautiful, parking is free, breakfast buffet was delicious (but dinner was overpriced for the quality). Overall, I enjoyed it but if I stayed again in the future, I would request a room on a higher floor and away from the restaurant. Les mer

We loved staying at the Double Tree and will definitely be back. The room was very clean, the towels were super soft, the shower and bath were amazing, and the bed was very comfortable. The balcony offered a great view. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They give you fresh baked cookies when you check in! The outside deck and bar was a […] great feature. "anniversary stay"
This was our second time staying at the double tree. Nice location, right on the beach. small pool, thin walls. My husband tossed and turned in the bed, said it wasn't comfortable. Nice buffets at Mangos. The refridgerator in the room was nice.

They are astoundingly slow, especially for a building with only 6 floors. They go to random floors and just sit there without even opening the doors. And they are very hot and stuffy. Other than the elevators, we loved the hotel though!
