"Oldie but Goodie"
The "pink" hotel is showing its age. The elavator doors don't reopen if you touch them to hold them open. The scrambled eggs in the buffet seem to be reconstituted, however, it is THE BEST breakfast in Florida and eggs can be ordered cooked to order.
"Poor service"
I've been staying at the Ritz more often because the level of service at the Hilton properties has fallen off in the last few years. This hotel was no different and while most of the staff was attentive the front desk staff was horrible.

Hotel room was very comfortable and quiet. Stayed there for a week and was very satisfied. Would stay there again.
"Empty hotel yet still put in handicapped room?"
Thought the hotel must be full when they put me in a handicapped room next to the elevator. When I asked the occupancy I was told 60%. The front desk manager had no idea why I was put in that room. I asked her to log a complaint for me. I heard nothing in return.

The toilet was almost on the floor, very difficult to get up and down when you're over 21 years old.

"The Hilton Ocala"
We had a great stay here, clean modern peaceful room. Loved pool area and horses out the back of the hotel.We enjoyed the carriage ride from Buddy and feeding him Buddy cookies. Great base to visit Silver Springs and Ocala National Forest good restaurants nearby. We had a great fun trip.

"Best place to stay for the money"
Hotel is clean and comfortable. It meets the expectations of a Hilton hotel stay. The area has everything that a small town like Ocala Fla has to offer. Most of the chain restaurants are right on the strip as well as the mall. Very convenient to on and off access to I75 Prices are very competative for the area. You could probably get a cheaper hotel […] but not a better hotel for the money. Les mer

"poor maintenance"
Maintenance of the bathroom - There was such a bad leak that after showering, and yes the curtain was inside the tub, the floor was so wet that it came out into the hotel room. Also, the TV worked intermittently. Not sure if it was a battery problem or the TV. Arrived late, so just noticed in the morning while getting ready to check-out. Told housekeeping […] and the person at the desk so that they would be aware of problems and fix for next guest. Just wrote problem down.... Never even apologized. Was really disappointed with the way the problem was handled. Les mer
"very freindly staff"
Hi, we spent two nights there. The hotel is clean and well kept although it is a bit old. The location is not the best one (close to the highway), however some of the rooms have great view at the park near the hotel. We we very pleased with the personnel as upon leaving we forgot our keys there. Two hours later we realized that and called the hotel; […] they looked everywhere in the room and fortunately fount them and left the keys at the reception in an envelop with regards. Les mer

"Beautiful and convenient"
This hotel was convenient to the highway and our destination. I would have moved the beds into my own home! The coffee in the room was Lavazza from Italy. It is the first time I have made coffee in the hotel room for breakfast!! The one disappointing thing was that the carpet had stains and looked worn out, as if they were not replaced while everything […] else in the room looked brand new. Great deal for the Ocala area!
