Clarion Inn Knoxville - Knoxville

Room had a very strong bleach smell, no shower curtain. Bedspread had a huge stain, had to ask for a clean one. Extremely loud and not comfortable.

The hotel had a odor of bleach, so strong in our room that it burned my eyes. Children running up and down the hall and very loud. Music next door to hotel blasted till 12;30 a.m. Lots of people walking and talking really loud, did not sleep the entire night.

Upon checking in the front desk at 5pm had a "back in 5 minutes" sign on it, which made us think they were short-staffed. The carpet in the room was damp, not sure why, didn't realize until the bottom of our bags showed water marks on them. The toilet stopped up with the first flush only tp. Had to hunt down a plunged at front desk and carry it around, […] as there was no maintenance person. Other than those the room was okay, don't know that we'd stay there again. At check-out, the sign was back so we waited again for the staff to appear. Breakfast was okay according to my husband, I didn't try it. Les mer

Stayed for 1 night, very clean, nice cb. Staff was very helpful giving us a room on the 1st floor. Would stay again in the future. Room was priced right.

This is a very nice place. The room was a bit dusty around the base boards however . There was a $20.00 charge per dog that when I booked this room I was not told about. That was upsetting. Sirens all night Had to change back into my clothes to go to the desk to get a remote because they couldnt bring it for some reason!

I had to be in Knoxville on business and was looking for something in this price range. Most other hotels that we closer to town were either much more expensive, or on the much cheaper end. The room was of moderate comfort, bed was nice, but chairs and other furniture were a little sub-par. Good working bathroom facilities, and clean. Overall, a nice stay. Les mer

Great location; decent price.

I was only there for one night or else I would've been upset that the refrigerator was broken, as were a number of the light switches. However, I just basically checked-in late & went to bed, got up in the morning & left. I tried to do laundry there, but the dispenser was out of soap & the front desk said they didn't handle that so I had to go buy some […] detergent. The breakfast was also average and had few choices, so I just had some juice and went back to bed. They did give me a late check-out and the front desk staff was pleasant (even when they couldn't help me with the laundry). Again though, I wasn't there very long at all. Les mer

Hotel was easy to find, and a quick trip to UT campus. The wife and I just needed a place to stay for the night so we wouldn't have to drive back home after a UT game. The room was clean, but in the bathroom the tub faucet was not attached to the wall very well (the caulking holding it to the wall had come loose). Nice and close to shopping also if […] you need something upon arriving or needing something before you go home. The continental breakfast is what can be expected of a place of this price: make your own waffles, bagels, and cereal. Very close to Quaker Steak and Lube, which has live music on weekends as someone else had stated and is loud. We read the reviews and carried ear plugs just in case. The bed was a little on the soft side, so if you sleep on a firm mattress like the wife and I you might wake up with a sore back as we did. The TV was an old CRT model, not very great to watch tv on when you are use to at least a flat screen, if not HD tv. If you do happen to stay in Knoxville be sure to visit Ye Olde Steak House. It's only a few minutes away, and probably one of the best meals you will ever have. Was on taste of the town on ESPN, and was definitely not over hyped. Les mer

The Clarion Inn Knoxville is comfortable, quiet and very economical, but in need of a little maintainence.

We enjoyed our visit to Knoxville and thought the hotel meet our needs well and was a good value. The sheets were a little coarse, the breakfast was typical for this level accomodation. The staff was courteous and the hotel was very clean.

The Clarion Inn, Knoxville is our favorite place to stay when we visit our children at UT Knoxville! Between 6 - 8 times! We're always greeted with a smile, the rooms are always immaculate and the continental breakfast is icing on the cake! I highly recommend them!!

We stayed at the hotel during my son's two-day UTK orientation. It was very conveniently located within 5 miles of the campus. The breakfast of juice, bagles, cereal, biscuit/gravy, and danish was ok - my younger son really liked the waffles. There's a few restaurants around the hotel for lunch or dinner. One extra we liked was the gym facility across […] the street - you take the hotel pass to the gym and workout for free! We will use this hotel again when visiting Knoxville! Les mer

This Hotel was awesome!! The Clarion was very convenient to the strip and the stadium. The staff was great and the room was very comfortable. Would definately stay here again. A+++

Would not let me cancel 30 minutes after 4:00 the night before even though my Child had swine flu. Took me almost 24 hours to speak with a manager.

We stayed here the night before a UT VOLS game. I was shocked at how nice this hotel was for the price. I picked this hotel because it had the most positive reviews. The only complaint I have is that the neighbors were a bit noisey. Other than that it was great. It's really close to Outback Steakhouse and IHOP, so you have options as far as places to […] eat. My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was clean and the staff worked diligently to get us into our room even before our check in time arrived. Our only complaint was that we were a little misled by the statement that it was approximately 4 miles from Neland Stadium. Hotel was wonderful. Beautiful decor. Room was very comfortable. Excellent breakfast. You cannot find this quality for this price anywhere. Would stay again and reccomend to anyone.

The location is great for just passing through. There are numerous restaurants and retail stores all very close by and you are right off the Interstate. It was quiet on the street side where we were. I bet that a room on the Interstate side would have been loud though. Grewat complimentary breakfast and everything was clean. The price is great too!

The location is very close to many good restaurants and stores. The room was clean and comfortable. Desk staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was clean, service was fine and price was great. The only negative was the band playing next door at the Quaker Steak and Lube. The air conditioning did drown most of it out and we were tired so it wasn't a huge deal, but will look for other accomodations when we return next year.

I would highly recommend!
