"High School football playoff weekend"
The forth floor room we were given was an ideal location to isolate us from most of the noise we usually encounter. The room was pleasant and clean, though I'm not crazy about the pillows. Everything else was great. the breakfast buffet was very good and the perfect option for Saturday morning when we had to get away in a hurry to make the first game […] of the day. Price was fair and is close to Hall of fame, Rooms clean but bed too soft for my taste. Anna and the front staff are very helpful and lots of places to dine within 5 min drive

The hotel was very nice and clean, but tucked away in an area easily missed because the turns are somewhat hidden and signs are small. The desk staff could hace been a little more attentive to travelers checking in, but service was adequate. The breakfast was really the highlight of the trip and we enjoyed it. Also would like to see something on the tv in the breakfast room other than sports. even local news/weather would have been better. "La Quinta Canton Ohio"
Hotel staff was very helpful and cordial. Room was clean and comfortable. The only negative is there is no stairway access. I am slightly claustophobic and prefer stairs to elevators. When I asked I was told they have no stairway. When I explained my situation I was told they do have a stairway but only use it for a fire escape. "Dogs are welcomed guests"
The hotel is less than a quarter mile from a major shopping centre and restaurants. Very convenient. The desk clerks were very cordial, as were the other staff.bHowever, I did not realize that dogs were allowed at the La Quinta hotel chain. I counted six guests with their dogs. Located on a hill overlooking a shopping mall and tons of restaurants, the interstate highway, and only a few minutes from the Pro Football Hall of Fame - this choice couldn't have been better. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, free buffet breakfast.

Ovrall the motel is very nice. There have a very good contenential breakfast. I was disappointed in the fact when i went to my room the hallway smelled of cigarette smoke. After the second night of stay i found a cigarette lighter at the foot of my bed.
The manager personally checked me in, then listed his staff for me if I needed anything later in the day. He found me a room for early check-in,since I had to get to my state dart tourney. The breakfast was amazing! I was totally blown away and I will definitely book this hotel every year! Thank you.

I had a one night business trip to Canton area. My stay with La Quinta met all of my requirements- clean, safe and quiet. It is located on hotel hill, near several other hotels with easy access to I-77. The property is in near new condition after a recent renovation. LCD TV made for a movie-like experience. "Excellent with exception of internet connection"
I would definitely recommend this hotel on all counts except for internet connection speed. During the morning hours (from about 3am - 11am) the internet connection was fine. From 11am - 3pm it got pretty slow, and from 3pm - 3am it was unusable. I was unable to work from the hotel. Disappointing since everything else about the hotel was great.

We stayed in a double room for three nights in late December 2010. We booked La Quinta because they allow pets. When we walked in, there were complimentary dog biscuits, which made us feel like our dog would be right at home. Everything in the hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly and personable, and the breakfast was awesome. When we saw "free […] continental breakfast," we assumed it would be a light spread. Not so! They offer make-your-own waffles, eggs and sausage, and a variety of cereal, yogurt, fruit, breads, and pastries. We were impressed. Our only drawback was the size of the room. When we arrived, I asked that we have a cot placed in our room. In fact, I had called previous to our arrival to check that a cot was available, and a note was placed in our folio (for a 'cob'). When we arrived the clerk informed us a cot did not fit into our room and he was surprised I had not been informed of this when I had called ahead of time. […] He quickly offered us a suite for an additional $30 for our three day stay. We accepted and took a cot. Although our stay started shakily, we were very happy with our room, the pleasantness of the staff, the cleanliness and the excellent breakfast. Special commendation to the fellow who cleaned up the breakfast area - he was prompt, watchful and very courteous. I plan on staying on the La Quinta again. Another point of interest - in the elevator, I chatted with a guest who was also surprised at the quality of his stay - he was very happy with your services and ammenities too. Great job all around! "3 C's Clean, Comfy and Convenient"
I read the reviews ahead of time and this place did not dissappoint. the rooms were so comfy I didn't want to leave and the daily breakfast was on point every morning I was there(3days). I'll stay again when I come to Akron. I flew in to CAK airport and my Hotel was 5 minutes away. Nice!!

Overall, the hotel and room were nice. They do allow pets and I only heard one dog bark a few times when I passed the door of the room it was in. The host at breakfast was very nice and helpful. The eating area, however, was in the lobby and it was pretty cramped.

By the time we got to breakfast, nearly everything was gone. There was no milk for the cereal, no bagels, and it didn't seem like the staff was concerned about getting it refilled. My husband enjoyed the 42" flat screen tv in our hotel room to watch the football game.
"Very Nice Hotel"
The hotel was in excellent condition and the bedrooms were spacious and light. I hadn't ever stayed at a La Quinta before but I will certainly add them to my list of hotels to search out when I'm out of town. The hot breakfast was nice and the staff were very kind.

"Careful, Pets Allowed"
Overall condition of room & grounds great, but pets allowed...... IN ROOMS. Dog left alone in room accross from ours started barking at 11 pm until owner was contacted, about 30 minutes. Made for a less than relaxing evening. Cancelling last nights stay was kind of a time consuming, but got it done wo issue.
