Veldig fint hotell, med hyggelig betjening og flott uteområdet. Det negative er hotellets beliggenhet for øvrig. Det er veldig langt fra byen og det finnes ingenting med nærhet til hotellets område. Det går en del tid og penger for å kunne se noe annet enn selve hotellet.

Jeg var bare på hotellet 2 netter, på vei fra Europa til India. Men jeg hadde booket meg inn på dette hotellet for å prøve spa tilbudet deres, og ble ikke skuffet i det hele tatt! Det var et utmerket spa-opphold, og hotellet i seg selv har veldig god service, 3-4 basseng (avhenger av hva man kaller et basseng) med både ferskvann og saltvann, og ligger […] rett ved en egen strand (selv at utsikten er mot byggingen av Jebel Ali palmen, som på midt reise-tidspunkt hadde stoppet opp). Jeg kan anbefale dette hotellet for de som ønsker god service og en avslappet reise, men jeg vil nok si at for mange dager her kan bli litt kjedelig ettersom hotellet ligger litt utenfor byen og det er et stykke med taxi inn til byen (45min). Det er begrenset hvor mye man kan ligge på en strand eller ved et basseng... Men for et kort opphold kan det absolutt anbefales hvertfall!! Les mer

Hotellet ligger på stranden. Nydelige omgivelser. Et stykke inn til sentrum, men en komfortabel, gratis hotellbuss (med aircondition) har flere avganger til de største kjøpesenterene + gull- og diamantparken (ligger lengst unna - ca 50 min med bussen). Det som bør ses i Dubai er: Seilet, verdens høyeste bygning, Atlantis (akvarium+badeland), Twin-tower, […] alpin-anlegget i kjøpesenteret Mall of the Emirates. Kjøpesenteret Dubai Mall er verdens største, og har et fantastisk lys/vannshow rett på utsiden. Bør ses! Det er også fra Dubai Mall man har inngang til Burj Khalifa (verdens høyeste bygning). Kjøpesenteret Ibn Battuta Mall er et spennede senter som er inndelt i eksotiske land som Egypt, Kina, Asia etc.. Spennede og eksotisk atmosfære. Gull og diamanter er billig i Dubai, og Gull- og Diamantparken er absolutt verdt et besøk! Hotellets buss bringer og henter i nærheten av de fleste severdighetene. På hotellområdet kan man kjøre seilfly, dykke, surfe, kjøre "banan-båt", vannski, spille bordtennis. Det er også gratis aktiviteter som f.eks. vannaerobic hver dag, strand- og vannvollyball, kamelridning på stranden. Det er et saltvannsbasseng+ 2 ferskvannsbasseng ved hotellet, og det er en egen spa-avdeling. Fantastiske omgivelser rundt hotellet, og svært serviceinnstilte ansatte ved hotellet. Les mer

My 3rd time at this hotel, I know it is far out of the way but that's ok, Service in general is good. I found the breakfast staff distant, rarely a smile having asked for morning coffee a pot of cold coffee arrived (twice) obviously filling the pot up from left over coffee from another table. when I asked to have a fresh pot of very hot coffee it was […] laid on the table without a word, the waiter had turned away before the pot landed almost. nothing nice about the breakfast service, except the Chefs who are very pleasant. Quite a change from my previous visits. Paying extra for a seaview is not good value, the rooms are small for a five star hotel and the balconies are minute.about one and a half meters by half a meter. Chambermaid service is excellent smiling and very helpful. The hotel etiquette notice handed out on arrival states." appropriate dress should be worn in the public areas and in the lobby". One man was walking about in his swimming trunks and speaking to the concierge. When I complained to a manager he replied "well it is a seaside resort after all" so it's OK !! The sports staff driving the buggies are also smiling and helpful but then the sports area is well away from the main building so sometimes one requires a lift. The grassed area and beach are excellent but beware at which part on the water you venture into as there are some nasty rocks if you do not look for the marked "off" areas Les mer

The hotel was amazing and staff couldnt do enough for you. The food in all the restaurants was second to none. Steaks at shooters was amazing and worth a visit. My boys 14yrs and 8yrs had an amazing time.

Hotel/Location was fine for us as we had visited Dubai on 4 previous occasions and had been to all the tourist attractions etc. we were on a few days break and just wanted to relax on the beach which we did .On the down side it was very busy although we had loungers we could not get near to the sea front, also at this hotel you could not have food brought […] to your lounger which is something we have had at other hotels in Dubai, we had to go to the hotel next door for our buffet lunch as the beach bar/cafe was continuously full, generally the food was OK we were all inclusive but would not have been happy to pay for the food daily as it was only OK apart from the salad bar which was always very fresh and varied. Staff were friendly, room was clean but not sure if we would use this hotel again when we next return to Dubai. Les mer

The hotel is a perfectly self-contained destination for getting away from it all, being about 40 minutes from Dubai International Airport.There is plenty to do on site, even if you don't play golf! We were so happy with this hotel we didn't leave the resort all week! Fabulously comfy beds and wonderful staff who really go out of their way to ensure your happiness.Great range of food and drinks on the all inclusive menu, and more than enough restaurant options - all with amazing food (really good quality). Lovely landscaped gardens and pool areas […] with loads of sunbeds (and parasols). Gorgeous white sandy beach, three pools (2 have swim-up bars), one pool is a 'quiet, adult only' area. Only slight negative I can possibly think of is there were lots of families with lots of children; also the room balconies are quite small, but as we spent most of our time out of the room this didn't bother us at all. We never go back to the same place twice, but with 30 degrees and solid sunshine in the first week of March plus the great all inclusive option, I think we will be extremely tempted! Top marks to the lovely manager Fredrick who made time to speak to everyone at the manager's cocktail party, what a delight to be asked if there was anything else that could possibly be done to improve our holiday - our answer was no :-) Les mer

We returned to the Jebel Ali after staying there back in May 2011, this time we returned to celebrate my husbands birthday. The hotel was great, there was a new pool, and they upgraded our room and arranged a cake for my husband. All those touches make such a difference and we will definitely returning back at some point - thank you Jebel Ali x

I travelled to the Jebal Ali for a short break, the service is outstanding and the food is amazing, i went all inclusive there and it was worth it, i think the staff go above and beyond to make sure that you are happy, and considering i was travelling alone i felt safe and welcome. I think the hotel needs to be updated slightly as it is looking a little […] old.but apart from that it was clean and I would go back there again. Ive been to Dubai a few times and stayed all over, this hotel is different and a little secluded, not in a bad way though but you are further away from the center and hussle and bussle. The hotel also has horse riding which i thought was a really good feature to have Thank you for looking after me during my stay there I was really happy and hopefull will see you again soon. Great place to stay, friendly, welcoming and far exceeded our expectations in every way. throughout our stay we couldn't quite identify the attraction to Jebel Ali Golf Resort as this is not a luxury resort but it does have a unique charm that really works well. The hospitality cannot be faulted - the choice and quality of food is superb (really) and […] the room was as clean as anywhere we've stayed. Be prepared to travel a LOT if you want to take in the sights and sounds of Dubai as Jebel Ali is a long way from everything else (it is about 70km from the airport and at least 25mins from the nearest mall). this was part of the appeal for us. Great beach and sports facilities that appeal to families and couples and the kids can be entertained all day long with plenty to do. While the food itself was very good i would say the staff could be better trained - it sometimes takes an age between ordering and receiving drinks at Captains (the beach bar) and nobody seems to be in a rush... Being golfers, the resort has the attraction of having a fantastic quality 9 hole course on site which really is a good quality layout that will keep you wanting to play more and more. I have played virtually every course now in Dubai and have to say that i enjoyed this little club as much as anywhere else. Recommended and well worth a visit as long as you are not expecting a super luxurious experience - this is a great value, good quality family resort with plenty to do. Les mer

The hotel as a resort is amazing, swimming pools, the beach, the weather, activities, all are great. There are transportation's that takes you to the city downtown and malls, but sometimes you might miss the stopping point, please ask for all details before you leave the hotel to your destination. Lively hotel/resort. Clean and tidy. The only downside is that it's far from central Dubai but to compensate that the hotel provides a shuttle service to all the mail attractions. The palm tree resort; a new build next to Jebel Ali is quite nice and new. Beach quite big with various activities.

Fantastic Hotel, great way to enjoy Dubai peacefully, being 30 mins from town its very quiet. A perfect holiday location, with everything from sailing/donuts/water skiiing, to shooting club, marina for fishing and an air plane for pleasuire flights. Probably one of the best value for money beach hotels in Dubai, but not just that, the hotel is truly one of the best beach hotels I have stayed in which manages to maintain the five star standards and offer a top rate service to all by offering an atmosphere so easy and relaxed that you feel at home rather than a five star hotel. The restaurants are […] great, the service excellent and the staff very friendly, superb beach service by very efficient attendants and ample space and sun beds that made it possible for us to enjoy a good rest at the beachside regardless of what time of the day we decided to go there. We had a sea view room which overlooked the beach as well as the marina. The grounds as well as the beach were very well kept and clean. Although we were a couple we noticed that the hotel is very well prepared to cater for families as well as singles, couples or business persons. The management laid on a superb banquet and entertainment for Christmas day and an excellent disco as well as a band for New Year's Eve together with an excellent meal in our choice of the many restaurants they have, finished off with a very attractive fire works show at midnight with a complimentary glass of champagne . Shuttle services and taxis are readily available. By renting a car we managed to visit the city and the attractions several times during our stay. I will certainly recommend this hotel to my friends and family and will definitely stay there again upon my next visit to Dubai Les mer

Room was ok but being 5star and they put two single beds together was not good from this hotel. We stayed 4 nights and bed sheets were only changed two times. The free bus was good. Staff are great and the Hotel is a fantastic. There were some renovations in one section of the resort which was not a distratcion at all, the only down fall was 2 out of the 3 pools could not be used therfore the only pool was always crowded. The resort provided a 120aed per night per adult so this was a good suprise. We stayed for 11 nights at this […] resort and would definatly return.I upgraded our room as it was very small and the manager provided a massive room on the top floor for a fraction of the cost!! Two thirds of the hotel was closed for renovation. It was like being in the middle of a construction site.This was not communicated to us when we booked so it was really disappointing to arrive and find most of the place inaccessible. The pool and beach were both crowded as all the guests were forced to make use of the only pool which was open and the […] limited beach area. The food was awful - no variety or imagination. Again the majority of the hotel restaurants were closed so there wasn't much choice. We had to take the shuttle bus into town on most evenings to get something decent to eat. We had chosen this particular hotel to be away from the city and it was advertised as having many amenities which would have been sufficient for us, had the place been fully open. The quality of the food was not up to the standard of a 5-star facility. No sign of Arabian hospitality - we paid for a 5-star luxury resort but we were given the amenities of a cheap package hotel in the Mediterranean. I feel that this hotel was mis-sold. The room was very nice but could not lower the AC far enough for our comfort zone. Room service was great but the prices on the bar were high, lower the coast for your general items ( retail ) and your guest would indulge in the higher priced items more often.

Worth staying at. The staff made it from a nice hotel to a fabulous hotel. I even met someone who had been there 4 times at 2 weeks at a time with and without kids. I will definitely stay there again.

The staff make this hotel one of the most memorable we have ever had the pleasure to stay in. We were treated by the staff almost like members of a large family and nothing was too much trouble. We chose the all inclusive package on arrival and are glad we did as individual meals and drinks would have been comparatively very expensive, so this option […] is a must. From check-in to check-out, it is hard to fault this hotel for attitude, facilities and catering. All the restaurants and bars were first class, but the Captains Bar and White Orchid restaurant stand out for us, the former due to the Manager and his group of highly efficient staff and the latter for the splendid chef. The hotel is a little way out from the main area of Dubai, and has very little around it, making it perfect for those seeking a pure sunshine break with pools, nice food and the sea, as opposed to the sights and sounds of Dubai generally. We were there for a week with our 7 month old (there is baby sitting, but note only for children 1+) and a cot was […] provided, + baby goody bag. There's enough variety of restaurant to keep you satisfied for a week. Staff in the buffet restaurants couldn't have been nicer. The only slight complaint was the friendliness of the staff at the lunchtime beach cafes was a bit mixed, and it was quite hard to find someone to take an order from the sun lounger.  There is a fabulous private beach, that compares very favourably to Jumeria Beach, because it is so much cleaner. The aspect is out across a an expanse of sea to one of the arms of a new Palm that is being built. There's some construction going on on that that is a bit unsightly, but it is sufficiently far away that there is no noise and not really an issue. The grounds of the hotel are lovely, with 3 great pools and pleasant gardens to walk in in which Peacocks roam free, which is great for the kids. There is also a small marina which a bar looks out over. Overall a very comfortable hotel with a great array of amenity, perfect for a pure hotel/relaxation based holiday. A big resort hotel outside Dubai city (a £12 taxi ride). It was fine for what we wanted - a week sitting by the pool. The outside areas were a little run-down though, although the gym was fantastic. This hotel is very far from the city. It is on the fringe of Dubai and it is actually much closer to drive to Abu Dhabi than it is to Dubai city areas. There are many good hotels near attractions for much less. You will spend alot extra in cab fare if you stay here. The free shuttle to City Centre is not frequent and you must call ahead to book a seat. […] I got sick one day and to get to a nearby pharmacy was a 30 minute drive each way. There is nothing surrounding the hotel but rubble and concrete. Absolutely not one nearby business or hotel. I arrived at night and everything was pitch black around the hotel. The hotel lies and states that the Dubai Marina and Palm Island are nearby. It is actually a bit of drive to get to either. The facilities themselves are nice, but do not stay here if you came to experience Dubai. It is good if you prefer seclusion. The standards rooms are nice and clean but much smaller than the pictures. The balcony has standing room for three people. Service was OK...the front desk would not answer on repeated occasions and it took several attempts to fix our wireless. When fixed, it worked well. The hotel charges high rates for everything (food, sunscreen, activities) and at times you are at their mercy because there is nothing else. They offer free camel rides supposedly, but I was refused on the days I was there because the trainer was supposedly off. The beach is clean, food is available 24/7, and staff are friendly. Les mer

Jebel Ali offers everything you need for a great holiday. You don't have to even leave the hotel if you don't want to. And if you do there are conveinant and regular shuttles to all the best places. We are already planning our next trip back there.

Extremely nice and service minded staff, beautiful room, nice pool area and wonderful sea. Fantastic food in the restaurants (we tried five different). All-inclusive option was very generous. Golf course beautful, well-kept and challenging. We went for a long weekend to relax and wind down, and had a wonderful time and came back totally recharged.

The hotel is miles from anywhere but one cannot complain about that because you should know that before you book it. I have been there before and experienced some staff service failures as I did this time again. The […] service and food in the sport bar restaurant is something quite different. I chose the steak pie for lunch and I got a very small crust pastry with almost nothing inside it. My two friends' meals were quite acceptable. The Asian restaurant service and food extremely good except watch out if you require rice with the food you order. They do not tell you that if you order the Fried or Thai rice you will be charged extra. Boiled rice comes with the meal. Next door in the lounge the entertainment is provided by a lovely lady singer(Theresa) and a wonderful pianist (sorry I did not ask his name) accompanying her.. Bar staff very pleasant indeed. The Italian restaurant food was excellent and staff very. helpful. The penthouse bar looks as if they had some space left over on the hotel plans so stuck a bar in it. The service and entertainment was good but it is like sitting in a train carraige. I got a letter addressed to someone else put through my door so I took it to reception and told them it was not for me but it could be something important. The receptionist took it from me saying she would see to it. and the following morning the same letter was put through my door again. We had to go to reception 7 times to have our card keys changed because we were constantly locked out of our room. I asked to speak to the duty manager and explained how inconvenient it was continually having to go to reception at all times of the day and twice at 2am. She also said she would deal with it and send a man up to look at the door lock. Well that's exactly what he did. came up looked at the lock and tried his key which of course Les mer

We've been living in the UAE for years and this is the first time we stayed here. We usually stay in other resorts and this was a very surprising experience, as we were not expecting anything special. Everything was great, from the recently refurbished room, the restaurants with delicious food at reasonable price, the many pools to choose from, the […] grazed beach, the activities... The hotel has free shuttle service for shopping but transportation for the airport was expensive. The hotel will not let you bring in outside food or drinks this includes drinks and snacks for the room, and there's were very expensive. On the weekends the hotel opens the pool areas up to the public for a fee and during those times it is hard to find […] a chair around a pool. The staff were very nice.
