Who pays for Internet these days it felt like you have to pay to breath in there. You pay for parking, Internet, breakfast and dinner.

I was told the where holding my card in case of any charges. I was not told they would be mputting a 100.00 hold on my card.

Only complaint about my stay was that they charge $9.99 for EACH DEVICE you connect to the Internet. I specifically asked about Internet charges at check in and this was not disclosed to me.

Everything was great about the room except the noise. There were people moving between rooms late into the night and you could hear them talking like they were in our room. Otherwise the location and room were great especially for the rate.

Even after the facilities guy came up the room was still hot all night - nice folks tried to make it right but the damage was done - you get a hotel room to sleep, i didn't get any sleep...

a good stay. breakfast the following morning in the restaurant was very good. room was on the club lounge floor and there was a very nice happy hour from 5:30 - 7:30pm.

No free Internet of any kind, the A/C had two settings on or off and no heat . The remote for the TV didn't work and the lamp on the desk had a short. The sugar for the complimentary coffee in the room was liquified when opened. This is not a preferred hotel for the money and would not consider staying there again unless it was my only option.

I had another good experience at the Intercontinental Hotel.....very friendly staff, good location & restaurant and I will definetely stay there again!

After using the unpublished rates feature to get a hotel in Dallas close to the Galleria, I was pleased to find that we were staying at the Intercontinental Hotel of Dallas. The location was great, being right next to the Dallas Tollway which allows easy access to the Galleria, Northpark Center Mall, Ikea, and outlet malls (as you may have deducted, […] my purpose for going to Dallas was to do some Christmas shopping). Great selection of Restaurants right down the road, and it was nice having a small Starbucks in the lobby. The room was great, and they actually gave plenty of towels, as I notice many hotels are quite stingy. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff were super friendly. The only negative was, I would have like a better showerhead in the bathroom to increase the quality of the showering experience, but overall I was quite pleased, and using the unpublished rates, I saved a bundle on the hotel (not sure if that is Expedia's line, but if so I just borrowed it!). The hotel was great! I will be refering all of my out of town guest to this all hotel. It is a great location, close to alot of resturants. Rooms we clean, bed slept great, and staff is very friendly and helpful.

We are familiar with Addison but weren't sure about this hotel. It turned out tone great. Clean, nice, we couldn't have asked fir more. Great for the price too!

Ok this hotel is pretty bad for Addison. My husband and I were born and raised in Dallas and this is not up to standards. The staff is rude and very unhelpful.In the giftshop I waited 10 minutes to even get someone to come in and check me out. I could have just walked out with the store and no one would have known. My only complaint is that they charge $10 / day for wi-fi. Which is ridiculous. Any place with that much marble should have free internet!

It was a short stay, but was very nice and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and relaxing!! Will definitely stay here again when in the area!

The rooms are large and very comfortable. The hotel is very conveniently located near a lot of restaurants and tourist spots.

The hotel itself is really nice. The staff was very professional, but the rooms smelled a little like cat. Also, the AC would not go below 72 degrees. I was pretty much sleeping on top of the covers all weekend long. I was just a little dissapointed because it is in a very nice part of town. Just didnt hold up.

Very disappointed, the service is very bad as well as the room condition, this is a 3 star not a 4 star hotel. Good if you just want a place to spend the night.

There was a musty odor that we noticed all weekend. I would say 8 to 9 out of 10 reviews I had read were very critical. Most were about maintenance issues and needing an update of the facilities. We had to wait about 10 minutes to check in because there was only one clerk available. We had booked a king, but they had two doubles. The clerk was very […] courteous & corrected it. In the room, the bathtub drain assembly had been removed, which did concern us. The carpet was pulled away from the wall a little and was stained next to the nightstand. We screwed the drain back in and let the water run a few minutes, and no backups, so I took a shower. When I came back in the room afterwards, the carpet was soaked past the bed, and my bag was sitting in the middle of the water. My husband went down to the lobby and explained our dilemma. The clerk found another room for us, offered to replace the bag, and asked if there was anything else she could do for us. She was very gracious and accomodating. Our new room had no issues, our bed was very comfortable, and we were happy with the rest of our stay. Although we initially had BIG problems, the hotel corrected them quickly. There are some maintenance issues that need to be addressed, and more staffing should be considered. I do believe that a 4 star hotel should definitely be held to much higher standards. Les mer

The rooms were very outdated. We had a room with two double beds and only had one towel and one washcloth. There was hair all over the bathroom and on the sheets. The end table had something white running down it that had dried and no one bothered to clean. I would never stay here again.

Overall very nice hotel, well located and quite salubrious, Rooms a little dated but not too bad, very liveable. Good food, overall it was well priced for the experience.

The hotel staff was unable to handle a power outage. They made false statements to guests, were not apologetic for the impact to guests (no hot water, no internet, no lights, etc.). They were not aware of or how fire shutter doors operate. We would not have a bad taste if hotel staff tried to help. They only denied that they had any responsibility.

Check in was a nightmare. They had 3 front desk clerks trying to check in over 50 guest. (There was a child beauty pageant being held there.) Told our room would be ready at 3 then received a call from the front desk that they had overbooked and they would be putting 4 of us in a king room with a roll away. When I tried to explain we had 4 people they […] said too bad that was the only option. I than called Expedia who called the front desk and got it taken care of. Elevators were broke--only 3 out of 6 working. Waits of over 20 minutes. We were on the 9 floor and just used the stairs!! Les mer

There was not enough check in staff to accomadiate the amount of customers they had during my check in time. They ran out of parking, valet gave my friends car to a different person and they took off with their car. The sheets on the bed where stained and there where a few stains on the carpets. They didn't have enough parking and then I had to pay […] an additional $10 to park my car in the hotels parking deck. Why have it for customers if they have to pay addtional to use it because you don't have enough parking other wise. Not right, should have parking be free. Les mer

I will not stay here again. We were here for an event so had no choice but it was no where near what I expected. The rooms were not very clean and have an odor. There was trash in our trash cans in our room when we checked in. The A/C didn't work well, never got above about 73 the whole time we were there (4 days) and was way too warm to sleep. We had […] to go to the store and buy a fan. The elevators were terrible, only 2 of the six they have were in order and the wait was over 10 m inutes to get a ride. We took the stairs most of the time to the 5th floor. Was not a very nice place at all considering that is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Do not recommend. Les mer

Some friends and I went to Dallas for a concert and stayed in the hotel. The hotel and staff were great. It was clearly an older hotel but was kept up very nicely.

I was looking for a weekend away from the house. The price was good but the distance and location of the room made us feel like they just stuck us off in the room. I don't know if it was the fact that we went through Expedia or what but we didn't feel as welcomed as what the others were. Either way it was a nice break.

The InterContinental is a favorite if I need to stay in the Addison/Galleria area of town. The room was nice for the most part and as expected. However there were two issues. Arrived at 5:30 with a 6:30 Wedding rehearsal to attend and the room is not ready. They give us another room to get ready in and move our belongings to our room while we are out. […] The other was most unusual. The air conditioning had no traditional thermostat but just a multi-position switch. On was super cold and while I prefer it cool to hot, I was definitely under the blanket all night. I recommend this hotel and hope that this review will keep them ontop of their game in a very competitive market. Les mer

We had such an enjoyable time at the hotel. We could have stayed in and ate there, but we had reservations close by. So after we ate we came right back and enjoyed the atmosphere at the bar. What a great hotel. I will stay there again, and again!!!
