Stayed at the Millennium for one night because it was close to our meeting the next day. Check in was ok, but the lady behind the counter could learn to smile and greet people. Room was ok, good bed. This hotel caters to those going to Nashville who want to dive into the music scene for the most part, as evidenced by the theme and tour bus schedule. For those of us not interested in all that, it was obviously a very nice hotel and is still fairly nice, but she's showing her age. The hotel is right outside a pretty rough neighborhood. The air conditioner in the room was so loud that every time it started it sounded like a horn playing, and it would start every 15 minutes! The walls are pretty thin also, so you can easily hear your neighbors. A very sleepless night. Wont be returning.

We stayed here on a Friday and Saturday night while visiting family in Nashville. It was decently located near interstates/downtown and the lobby is fun with a "nashville" feel, but the rooms were verrrrry dated and had an altogether unclean feel. The carpets felt like you didn't really want to walk around barefoot, the bathroom was just a little grimy […] and the bed/bedding felt old. A coil was poking out of the mattress under my pillow.... I never felt unsafe, but don't think I would recommend this place to close friends or family. Spend a few extra bucks for a clean nights sleep. Les mer

I have never paid $137.00 for a hotel room and didn't have a microwave or refrigerator. The room was very small with twin beds. The heater didn't work in the first room plus the bath tubs were very dirty. In order to have a microwave and refrigerator, you will have to pay an extra fee. So what are we paying for, just a basic room?? The price we got […] was discounted because we did it online. If you pay in person the price will be much higher($169.00). I will never recommend Millennium Maxwell House Hotel to any one. This is the worst hotel I have ever visited. There was no complimentary breakfast for the price I paid. Les mer

Rooms could use some updating. Air pressure pushes shower curtain in toward you. Water would not shut off in shower. Overpriced for what you get. Lobby and restaurant are nice.

Doesn't have free wifi or a fitness center, which is odd for such an expensive hotel, but it is nice, safe, comfortable. Has a mini fridge and microwave and coffee maker. Very nice, but it should have free Internet and a fitness center for that hefty price.

The hotel is decent but outside of cosmetic updates it is dated. The bathrooms are 20 years old. The courtesy shuttle was great to help on cab fair to downtown but was not always reliable. Desk clerks were not very friendly.

Pros: hotel location is ideal for quick drive to downtown area, and hotel offers free shuttle service within 5 miles; ample free parking available. Cons: breakfast should be included for the rate; wifi is free in lobby but costs you ten per day from your room, whether you connect to wifi or internet cable (which didn't work). Hotel staff really didn't […] seem to care if we enjoyed our stay or not. They weren't rude... just seemed that they were going through their tasks and guests were just something that had to be managed. First thing at checkin is to sign a statement that you agree to all the penalty fees and understand that they are not responsible if the maids steal anything from your room. They didn't explain the wifi situation. The maid didn't get around to cleaning our room until around 4 p.m. the following day, while we were back there for showers prior to going out at night. She basically wanted us to get dressed and let her come in to do a very quick clean because it was time for her to finish work for the day. The room was quite dated (as was the hotel) and the bed was not only uncomfortable... it was actually bowed... you could actually see it easily. Next time, I'll pay a few dollars more and stay at in a different brand hotel. Les mer

The room was great and the front desk was great. The restaurant and bar were not attractive and not a place you would want to hang out. The hotel is not walking distance to anything except for a few fast food places. I used the shuttle to get downtown and back and had a good experience. But waited for over 45 minutes for a shuttle from the airport and […] had some mix up for the shuttle to the airport. The desk will tell you the shuttle to the airport is from 7 to 10 at the top and the half hour, which would be excellent service. But, after waiting for nearly a half hour, from 9:50 until 10:15, the shuttle that arrived told me I missed the 10am shuttle and he was going at 11. The next shuttle told me now, I would go on the first. Eventually, I took the first shuttle and left about 10:30. A needlessly, stressful experience. The day prior, a group of guests complained about the shuttle, and the manager's response was that the shuttle was complimentary. Cab rides to downtown are about $10-$15, but there weren't any cabs standing by at the hotel. Les mer

Disgusting! I don't know how this is rated as a 3.5 star - I would rate it as MAYBE a 2 star. There is a nasty little restaurant downstairs (this was the reason we chose this place as everything else was closed, restaurant-wise). I ordered the soup of the day for my daughter -- who will eat any soup I put in front of her. she wouldn't touch it - I tasted […] it and it was a strangely viscous lukewarm bland beige substance (I'll let your imagination run wild as to what it was reminding me of) that was allegedly a beer-cheese soup? The shuttle is a nice service, except you have to wait forever for it at both the hotel and pick-up locations. It's easier to just park downtown and pay the $5. We stood outside the hotel for over an hour- took us 3 turns to get on the shuttle. The bathroom was tiny, sink is not even in the bathroom. We loved the Hotel and especially the shuttle service to Downtown. It made our trip GREAT and our shuttle driver Amed was wonderful to us. We also loved the bar in the hotel which was our last stop at the end of each evening. Thanks for a fun trip!!!

We were in town for a concert. Hotel itself was clean and comfortable. Staff at checkin and out was friendly. Nothing special was needed. Hotel is located in a nice quiet area with pretty and peaceful grounds. Close enough to downtown area. Would definately stay again.

I got to stay on the top floor with a lovely view of the Nashville night lights. I was pleasantly surprised to find bottled water in my room.

First of all, let me just say that the hotel rooms were clean, but both mornings the hotel lobby smelled of sewer but didn't last all day. Luckily the rooms didn't smell. The housekeeping staff and shuttle drivers couldn't have been nicer. But the 3 women that worked the front desk the day we arrived were horribly rude! I had booked 2 rooms through […] 'hotels.com' and they mentioned 3 times how much "booking through a 3rd party threw them". What????? They were rude when 2 members of my party requested NO down comforters...told them they shoud've requested earlier. The housekeeping didn't seem bothered, it took them all of 2 min. to make the switch. I will not stay at the Millenium Maxwell House Hotel again (and I go to Nashville often). I think the shuttle drivers and housekeeping staff should be trained for the front desk! Les mer

If you can't afford a room downtown near broadway then this is your best bet. Real nice area just outside downtown with a convenient shuttle that picks you up and drops you off at airport. Shuttle also takes you to downtown all for free. If your out late and need a cab from downtown to the hotel is a $10 cab ride. While the shuttle bus drivers were very pleasant, the front desk staff were rude and unapproachable. The hotel lobby smelled like sewage all weekend. The rooms are old and outdated, and the bathrooms smell moldy. I never write reviews but felt the need to warn others. I would not recommend this hotel.

The front desk person had a terrible attitude. She was harsh, defensive and rude to my wife and 18 month old as they checked in. I arrived later that night from a business meeting. I needed to get another set of keys. I gave her my license and she called the room at 11pm as my daughter slept. I asked her not to call. She said she didn't and she knows […] my daughter was up there. As I'm going up the elevator, my wife asked if I was there since the phone just rang. I had to get someone from our car so I dropped my to let her know she called the room. She said she did because she had to see the name on the room (which she lied about initially). And she was rude and belligerent about calling my room at night and waking up the baby. Unbelievable that this person was hired to be in the customer service business. Les mer

The hotel was overall fine but the room itself needs improvement considering the price paid. Carpet looked worn and was not vacuumed. Pillows were flat and uncomforable. To sum it up...over priced for what you get and what you don't get

Good location - easy to find. Hotel shuttle service to Downtown was exceptional.

Convenient location; just off I-65. No traffic problems in morning or evening. Coming off I-65 does necessitate a U-turn on Rosa Park Blvd. Room and bathroom was smaller than I expected but efficient and clean.

Beautiful, well-maintained hotel & grounds.Very convenient Mini-shuttle took us downtown & to sight-seeing at no extra charge.Only a short 10 minute wait for shuttle, not very far from downtown, but quiter for better sleeping. Would definely return.

For $100/night I expected a better experience. There was hair and grass in my sheets. The phones in the room didn't work. There were no plugs by the bed to charge my phone. The AC kept coming on even after I turned it to the off position. Also there was hair in my shower. Needless to say I was disappointed. Most expensive hotel we had stayed suring our road trip. Location, looks and feel of the hotel is really good but that's all there is too. No free WiFi in rooms, you have to pay $9.95/day for WiFi service in room - really, these days even "mom & pop" motels have free WiFi. The only place you get free WiFi was in lobby - Really!! Who and why would you […] expect guests to come down withering laptops and iPads to get Internet access in Lobby? We paid for te WiFi so we can watch Netflix and couple of our shows but connection was very poor and kept disconnecting. Thank God, we got refund (credited) for our Internet charges. No complementary breakfast - on site lounge but charged us $30 for breakfast - again "mom & pop" has free breakfast, elevator stopped working - had to take satires to 5th floor - no help from management to get issue resolved - AC/Fan/Heater in room kept shutting off automatically after 5 mins of running.... Thank God, it was cold night and we had our blanketes to sleep in. Upon talking to management about thir short comings, all we got was smile and wave of good bye! DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.... Les mer

It's not in the center of the action and the price reflects that. However, you can easily get to where the fun is via their shuttle bus and an abundance of cabs to get you back to the hotel late at night. If you are on a budget but still want a nice hotel this is the best in the area.

The hotel staff was friendly but the hotel itself was very tired. I was surprised to see that they charge for internet access and use in business centre. Rather antiquated, no? I would rate it at a 2.5 - 3.0 and not 3.5 star.
